Diner Reviews
  • "Treated a special work colleague to a birthday lunch. Food was lovely and as a special touch, decorated the birthday girl's desert plate... #gush# #gush#!! Thank you so much especially to the new Manager!!! See you back soon."

  • "Very nice decoration. Possibility to walk out through the outstanding landmark hotel. Food is very well done, though classic."

  • "I really enjoyed my first visit here - whilst walking through the very quiet and slightly sterile Landmark Hotel to get to the restaurant I worried that the atmosphere would be rubbish, I was very wrong! Really great place, opulent decor and a massive menu. Will be going back!"

  • "I went there for christmas eve dinner. The food was awesome and the ambience of the restaurant was cozy quiet and romantic! A hidden gem!"

  • "Deifnatly a business restaurant, not romantic and overly priced for what is effectively pub food."

  • "This restaurant is located in the Landmark Hotel, so nice Central location. The atmosphere is nice and was perfect for a business dinner. The food is good, nice attention to preparation, and reasonably priced. The cocktail menu had fun choices. Overall, a very positive dining experience. Of course, they couldn't find my Top Table reservation."

  • "As always, staff, food, service and ambience was fabulous!"

  • "We went for dinner with a few friends and the food was excellent. They were accommodating with special food requests and service was impeccable. The only thing I didn't like was an order of spinach which was extremely creamy and generally didn't taste so good."

  • "After a slow start to the service (which might have been due to some inadvertent mix up) we received excellent and attentive service. The food was very good and even with wine the bill was reasonable. The description on Top Table as written by the restaurant though gives a slightly misleading impression as to the setting of this bar/bistro. I expected something else. However, we were very happy with the food, drinks, service and pricing in the end. Therefore as long as you know thhs is more a bistro or bar type of place, you will enjoy it as much as we did."

  • "except for the fact that the restaurant had no record of our booking, we were greeted warmly and allocated the table we'd requested very promptly. as usual at this place, food was good all vegetable ingredients were fresh and freshly prepared. we all had fish dishes which lived up to expectation. service was perfect; efficient yet friendly."

  • "twotwentytwo is well hidden but the menu and service should mean it doesnt stay that way."

  • "Booked at the last minute and wasn't disappointed by the food, service was good but it was a bit quiet/lacking in atmosphere."

  • "Very good value with Top Table menu. Could accommodate gluten free diet. Plenty of choice if not eating meat."

  • "Fabulous value for money and a great place to have a business lunch"

  • "Great place for interview lunch although service can be a little slow at times. TopTable menu is limited so no steak on that menu - would be great to have a supplement option."

  • "Nice evening - felt a bit "gentlemen's club" to begin with and the service wasn't great - lots of staff (who were nice enough) running round but always had to grab their attention. We all (3) had the burger which was really tasty tho the chips weren't as chunky as I expected. Creme brulee for dessert was divine but too big. Wine we wanted wasn't available so plumped for a pinot grigio rose instead which was pleasant. Good price though and would go back. Pity it was two floors up the ladies as theirs were "broken"."

  • "I had a good meal with friends at Twotwentytwo which was very good value with the toptable deal. The restaurant looked good and the food was very nice - but the ambience and service lacked warmth and it stopped short of being excellent. There are better places to eat in Marylebone."

  • "This is part of the Landmark hotel Marylebone which I had not realised when booking it. All aspects of the Top Table deal we booked and visited with friends was excellent. The service and food was excellent, and the ambience first class. Would definitely go there again."

  • "TwoTwentyTwo is the basement restaurant of the Landmark Hotel at Marylebone. Its decor is impressive: wooden panelling, comfy leather and upholstered seating and atmospheric lighting. We ate here before a concert. The set menu offered good choices and value. The service was excellent: efficient, helpful and friendly. A very enjoyable meal."

  • "The £15 special menu was tasty and offered excellent value. However charging £4 for the bread was a shock as the toptable menu sheet had not shown it - and seemed steep when only one person had one slice! Otherwise we enjoyed the experience at Twotwentytwo."
    dined on 17/07/2012
  • "TwoTwentyTwo is a very beautiful bar/restaurant, however, whilst the food was good, it took almost 45 minutes to have our mains following the starter and upon arrival, our booking wasn't on the list the waitress had. Service was good, just a matter of our food taking a long time which disappointed us, especially when other tables didn't appear to have a problem and we were not given any update/warning."

  • "Bit of a limited menu, but good enough value with the offer."

  • "I booked a table at Twotwentytwo for dinner because I love the Winter Garden restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. Whilst it's not a patch on the Winter Garden in terms of wow factor or ambience, it was still a pleasant venue. The Toptable deal is worth doing as it's good value for money and the portions are huge. Service is OK and we weren't hurried along at all."

  • "Being at Twotwentytwo was delightful, as you could dine on sofas in front of a log fire. We went for the set menu, which was good value as the portions were generous. However, the goodness depended on what you order - the soup was salty and the pasta bland, but the smoked salmon was, well, you can't really get wrong and the burger had taste. The most impressive was the creme brulee which seemed like a signature dish. The patchy service was from being asked if I wanted the main course when I was half way through the starter. I said no, but then I saw it being brought out 5 minutes later. The staff was pleasant enough though, overall."

  • "222 is the basement bar of the Landmark Hotel, and both food and ambience are more like an upmarket pub, only the service reminds one that one is in the Landmark."

  • "Food ordinary and service very slow. No awareness of gluten free optioons"
    dined on 17/05/2012
  • "Great food here and a fabulous atmosphere. A little pricy unless you take the Toptable offer - our drinks bill was as much as the food. Excellent service and good-sized portions."

  • "very nice atmosphere - good quality food - good service - good overall value for money - will attend- though wouldnt do so unless there was an offer"

  • "Food was ordinary and service inattentive. The room is beautiful which compensates to an extent"

  • "222 in the Landmark Hotel is stunning! Could not fault the food or the service and it was a very busy night. The special offer 2 courses for £15.00 is outstanding. Will definately be returning to this venue."

  • "222 at the landmark has a decadent ambience (overstuffed sofas etc). We booked on the TT special menu. At first the waiter said the offer doesnt start until tomorrow and was ready to turn us away but with a bit of arguing they relented. Food was excellent across all 3 courses (for £18 superb value). Beware of expensive drinks though. Overall a good deal due to the special TT menu."
