Small room upstairs set for romantic dinning, but the main room was stylish and great decor. Meal - starter and lamb a great combination. Topped off with desert and a very nice cup of coffee to set off a great experience.

By booking you are allocated a table on the first floor - the ground floor being the main bar which is on a first come first seated basis. As we eat early upstairs quiet but bar busy - not a problem for us. Comforatble and clean surroundings. Menu and wine list excellent value considering you are heart of Belgravia. Recommend the fish and chips and house Sauvignon Blanc. Food was well cooked, presented and came timely. Service was excellent very attentive and unfussy. The food and service are also strong. I had oysters followed by a pastry-wrapped venison that was delightful as a main. The wine list was also broad. This was the 2nd Cubitt restaurant that I've visited and it did not disappoint. The service and food were fantastic. Thomas Cubitt seems to be more fancy than say The Orange, but not in a pretentious way. The atmosphere was still very comfy and welcoming. I had not been to the restuarnt upstairs before so it was a risk taking clients there. But we had great food and were looked after perfectly.
