It is a gorgeous old pub building and the food really was outstanding. Sat in the bar area. Felt welcomed straight away. Fantastic ambience, wonderful staff and superb food. I had the lamb roast and the meat was incredible tender. All plates (3courses) went back to the kitchen empty! Good wine list and a varied selection of beer. Can't wait to go again. Food was superb and service excellently provided by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The Chateaubriand was first class and cooked to perfection. Have also been here for a Sunday lunch and had a similar experience. The food was delicious and the waitress very attentive. Anyone who goes i would strongly recomend the haddock, spinach, poached egg and hollandaise for starters.
