Lots of people were enjoying their drink at the bar and the restaurant area was almost full. The steak was one of the best I have ever had and my partner was raving about the lamb. Portions were generous, the ambience was lovely and service was attentive but not overwhelming. The 50% off food offer makes this place a great value for money. We paid £60 for a starter, two mains and a bottle of wine. Only downside is the extremely loud music which doesn't allow you to have a proper dinner conversation. I think the music was too loud even for a cocktail bar. We tried the oysters, rabbit, pigeon, and lamb. They each deserve a separate sentence. An amazing blend of tantalising flavours, I wanted to volunteer to get the recipes. The latter three were cooked to perfection. The chef is brilliant. The waitresses provided an excellent service, amazing considering it was dinner at 7pm at the weekend.
