The cocktails were lovely. The food came looking unusual well presented it was almost a shame to eat it, but eat it we did. We both had fillet steak for main course and both agreed it was the best steak we had ever had. Quality beef cooked to absolute perfection. The time between courses was far too long & I would suggest more waiting staff to cover busier trading times on a weekend...even allowing for being busy I was still left with the feeling that they even took longer than I was prepared to wait & to cap it all the waitress took ages to bring the bill. The whole affair was dragged out & it was very awkward trying to find the staff to even request further drinks.

We enjoyed a drink before we went throught to to dining room. As soon as we were seated the manager Tony noticed that my husband had an injury to one of his arm and enquired if there was anything extra we would need to make are evening more comfortable. This was followed by impecable service during our meal which was superb.
I can't wait until our next visit to sample another delight off the menu.

It was warm and friendly with a great buzz. The piano players were excellent and really added to the experience.
Unfortunately one of our steaks (ribeye) was not cooked as we requested. Although he manager immediately took this off the bill when we drew it to his attention. The menu was interesting and the food was good. What made my rare night out so enjoyable and guarantees my return business was the service - the welcome was just right (not overwhelming), the sustained service throughout the meal was generous but didn't get in the way and each member of staff communicated on an 'equal footing' and the overall approach was not based on servitude, which made it refreshing -I got the impression that those working there enjoyed it rather than being resentful!
