We were off the the theatre and we were able to have a leisurely meal before going. Our waiter was very helpful and recommend our main courses and he was spot on. Our table had a low hanging light and the poor chap kept knocking his head on the shade when delivering and clearing plates.
We will definetely be back and we will bring some more freinds with us.26/04/2013 00:00:00Bad manorsThe two members of staff that worked our area on the evening were lovely, especially when dealing with a group of ill mannered young ladies who moaned about everything. Especially when one of them ordered something that had foods in she didn't like. Probably the reason I'm not in the world of serving the public as my response would have been, "Sorry it tells you on the menu what's in it, and you ordered it, you eat it".

Went for my birthday last thursday evening. Service was great, food was a tad delayed but the manager did apologise. Cant fault the food, we had three courses and all three of them were delicious. One of the nicest places to go in Bristol where you can have a relaxed, romantic evening. We went on a Saturday night for our anniversary and were hoping for a nice romantic meal for 2 however we didn't realise that on a Saturday night it is a very lively bar and has a Dj and was mainly full of large groups eating and drinking before going out on the town and the loud music meant we couldn't really hear each other talking or hear the waiting staff for that matter. So for our purposes it probably would've been better to go in the week when maybe it would've been quieter. However the food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were lovely so I would definately recommend it but maybe do your homework first on which night to go on depending on what sort of night you want to have :)23/03/2013 00:00:00excellent as usualI really like this restaurant - the decor, space, music and friendly staff. The food is always good quality although a slight downside was that there were a number of options not available - we were told it was due to an especially busy weekend - we were there Sunday 18/2/13. As this was valentine week I would have thought that they could have foreseen a busy week. That said everything was really good as usual.
The restaurant has a "Privelege card" that gives 20% off. They also often have other promotions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had great services from the waitress. She knew a lot about the wine list and was very friendly. Amazing steaks and great place to go for a nice dinner for two. Cocktails are bit pricey, but hey, you're on Harbourside, there's plenty of places to go and finish yourself off.
Food and décor are great. It's not a fast-food, so don't go crying all over the internet that you had to wait 25 minutes for food and 15 minutes to see the waiter. Order a starter and some wine and enjoy your time.

I on the other hand am willing to pay for more if the standard is excellent. Since being my birthday they let me choose where I wanted to go and in all fairness, I think I've converted them. They raved how excellent it was and how the atmospher was lovely. Food was excellent and we all had a really nice time! Definately will be coming back again, though I think you should do deals on your cocktails! Mojito lover but £21 on three cocktails, it was ok because it was an occassion but bit pricey if your just wanting drinks with friends! Thanks for the lovely birthday!
