Gvine that it was a bank holiday, the restaruant was very busy but they went out of their way to ensure we could all be accomodated comfortably. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We love the interesting and varied menu and can honestly say we have never had a bad meal or poor service. The menu is exciting and we and our guests always feel spoilt for choice. A lot of the ingredients are locally sourced and the food tasty, hot and well presented. Can't fault it. Price wise it was a little high but for special occasions it was just perfect. Atsmosphere very friendly and made to feel very welcome. Will certainly go again. We had Sirlon Steaks & Duck for the main, all were cooked to our requirements with plenty of veg. The portion size's were larger than I expected (not complaining) but the presentation and the taste were not compromised. We had a sweet which consisted of Apple Pie & Brulee and again very nice. The landlord and landlady seem to bend over backwards to ensure that each visit is perfect and the level of serve and food is second to none.
