Everyone thought the food was excellent and definitely not a typical Indian restaurant! The staff were attentive as well as discreet and the ambience is lovely and wasn't too noisy even though all the tables were well occupied. My brother was surprised and delighted at the miniature ice cream cake with a candle that arrived with his coffee too! We had an early booking so took advantage of the set 3 course meal with cocktail for £24. We both had seabass for main course and it was fantastic (perfect spice level, good sized portion - especially with our extra accompaniments). My husband had the venison kofta starter and honey cake with ginger ice cream dessert and enjoyed both. I had the aubergine starter and the lemon & pistachio dessert and both were lovely. Altogether, excellent value with great service (we weren't rushed, which we really appreciated).
