A word from The Case Restaurant with Rooms
The Kappes family took over The Case in 1986, when it was just a quiet Suffolk country establishment. It’s come a long way since then – the completely refurbished Sudbury gem is now a lovely and modern restaurant with rooms, and a perfect base from which to explore the listed buildings, gardens and… museums in the area. The beamed dining room, with its exposed brick walls, has an open and airy feel, and the high-backed leather chairs are wonderfully comfortable. Friendly staff will ensure you feel at home, while enjoying the beautiful view and indulging in classic European cuisine. Wherever possible, food here is made with top notch local produce; expect to see dishes like beef Wellington or chicken cassoulet with root vegetables on the menu. The daily specials and fresh homemade bread are well worth ordering, and there’s also a keenly priced set menu for Sunday lunch. Continued
