The staff were very polite and friendly and the service excellent. We enjoyed the ambience and the setting amongst the Victorian architecture. The location of course makes it easy to get to. Service was good. Based on what we chose I would say the food was fine but nothing special. Prices are what you would expect given the location so, considering the food alone, I would rate this restaurant average value. Did not love the price; £67 per head inc drinks. Did not like the fact that with a full restaurant and busy bar only one out of three toilets were working in the ladies!!! Did not love it when the staff opened the fire door right beside our table and a blast of cold air from the station platform washed over our table and did not love the fact they had no Drambuie to finish off my excellent dinner with a Drambuie coffee :( A five star hotel without Drambuie - incredible!
