We'd not been for well over a year, and thought it would be nice to go back for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is not large, so there is no over powering noise or activity, just enough background to maintain an ambience, but easy enough to talk over.
We went for the Scandanavian Fish Tasting menu and had a nice bottle of Austrian Riesling. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, but not over bearing. There was a nice touch from the pastry chef at the end with the petit fours.

The food is of an incredibly high standard. Easily on a par with the two, two Michelin star restaurants i've been fortunate to eat in (L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon & Sketch) despite only having one Michelin star.
The staff we're incredible, going out of their way to create incredible bespoke dishes to accommodate both a dairy free diner, and also a gluten free diner.
The decor is lovely, no stuffy white table cloths, just beautiful clean modern decor. Nice and bright with an incredible high Robert Adam ceiling. Appetizer of beetroots, a humble ingredient, is nicely done and does remind one of Scandinavia, where the people apparently use beetroots quite often in their recipes, at least as I have seen on cooking shows! Main course of salted cod, again very Scandinavian, is simply delicious, especially when mixed with the sides of cucumber and other clever spices. I chose it over the pork belly because pork belly is getting a bit boring after all these years of hype. Dessert of Ganache with Icelandic blueberries is fine. The Scandinavian influence was noticeable with a menu emphasizing seafood. The innovative use of herbs was striking. Flavours were clean and light, with minimal preparation allowing the ingredients to shine through. The presentations was stylish without being overdone - the butter was served on a stone and the plates were notable for their unusual ceramic glazes. We appreciated the restaurant's willingness to be flexible on the tasting menu (not all places are) - as no one in our group liked beetroot we were able to substitute the salmon and caviar dish for the beetroot salad.
