sushinhoGustoso!!!Food was delicious and staff super attentive and friendly. Food was lovely
With some really outstanding octopuss ceviche! Well done15/05/2013 00:00:00sushi with a twistWe loved our meal at Sushinho - really innovative food, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty! We booked our table for 645 and got 50% off our food, which made it good value too. Also nice cocktails and an excellent chocolate parfait dessert.15/05/2013 00:00:00Spoilt for choiceExcellent range of dishes, imaginative combination of flavours, beautifully presented. The pork roll was outstanding as was the prawn tempura. In fact, each dish was a culinary experience, the only one that wouldn't be my choice, was the mini hamburger, but others at the table liked it. Very attentive and knowleadgeable staff. I can highly recommend this place, it doesn't come cheap, but well worth it.11/05/2013 00:00:00The perfect eveningA friend who is aficionado of Japanese food recommended Sushinho so I was expecting it to be good. The food was truly outstanding, most particularly the sushinho rolls and the prawn tempura. We sat at the bar initially for cocktails, the bar man was friendly and helpful with choosing the cocktails and what we had was delicious, (a martini with Hendricks gin, cucumber and wasabi was one example, superb). There was a little confusion with the bill and without us asking them to they knocked the extra item off our bill plus all the drinks we had at table. I would recommend it to the most discerning of customers, I look forward to going again soon.09/05/2013 00:00:00Portions are on the smallPortions are on the small side but the food is excellent. We always have a good time and the service is friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.29/03/2013 00:00:00Fabulous food and SommelierThe food was delicious and the service as well. Above all, the sommelier was excellent, because he offered us to try some alternative he was considering for house wine which were fantastic and free of charge. That convinced us to order a bottle to carry on and the wine list is very good.12/03/2013 00:00:00Delicious as alwaysWent back again for a 3rd time.
Updated menu and everything great as usual.
Service was quick and friendly.09/03/2013 00:00:00Excellent service - good foodFront of house staff here are fantastic! From the minute you arrive right up to leaving there's such a welcoming atmorsphere - attentive and friendly without being too formal.
This was my second visit and although the food wasn't quite as impessive as the first, it was still really good - fresh and beautifully presented, just missing that bit of a WOW that we got on our first visit.
Overall - great restaurant and would definitely recommend09/03/2013 00:00:00Japan meets BrasilInteresting concept.
Menu had a good selection of food with an interesting twist of flavours and ingredients. From the Pork House Rolls to the Butterfish and the Pork Belly Feijoada were all very good. The desserts were equally as good - Passion Crumble!!
Pleasing surroundings and good service.
Our waitress was very nice but her knowledge of the menu was lacking. For such a diverse concept the staff should be able to provide recommendations and sound advise from the choice of sake to the brick that came to cook the fish on.
All in all a nice restaurant would recommend.17/02/2013 00:00:00Good food, but at the priceGood food, but at the price I would rather go to nobu08/01/2013 16:00:00Lovely ExperienceThe service provided is top-notch in London. Our waitress helped make our selection on the menu, and everything was heavenly!19/12/2012 16:00:00Huge flavours, a delicious dinnerI've been to sushinho before and this time was yet again a success - loved the various flavour combinations, and the pork and pineapple roll was div-ine. My two dining buddies shared my enthusiasm: we polished off an incredible fried chicken dish (very tender and juicy meat within, not dry at all), a very, very morish feijoada and lots of those fried dumplings in the tomato sauce they're accompanied by. Every dish held its own, no other way to describe it. Fuss free and utterly excellent. Same goes for the service, feels like they care.16/12/2012 16:00:00A class actSushino is a fantastic restaurant. Very cool ambiance, excellent food. Lovely bar with great cocktails. Quick, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thoroughly recommend.11/10/2012 16:00:00Still our favourite restaurantStill our favourite restaurant in London. We just love it. The staff are wonderful (remembered all our names after our second visit) and food is very consistent. We even think it's rather good value for money, especially if you order the hot food.10/10/2012 00:00:00Great fusion sushiThis is the second time I have been to sushinho and the food was every bit as good as the first time. The staff were very attentive and helped create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The food was also excellent, every dish we had was superb, particular highlights were the sushinho roll, dragon roll and the duck rice which was one of the specials. Not cheap, but worth it for a special occasion.06/10/2012 00:00:00Like nothing elseA very different proposition to Zuma or Nobu. It's more South American with Japanese influences than the other way around. The food though really is superb, more rustic and less delicate but hugely flavourful. The service is just right, friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The restaurant itself also feels warm and welcoming. It's definitely a more relaxed and easy-going fare than other top end japanese restaurants in London. The menu isn't huge but there's enough there to please most people. Recommended.17/07/2012 00:00:00Stunning foodThe ambience was a little lacking as the tables are slightly too close together and it's quite small and therefore quiet. The service was great however and the waiter gave some excellent advice when choosing our dishes. The food was also excellent, every dish we had was superb, particular highlights were the sushinho roll and the pork salad. Not cheap, but worth it for a special occasion.05/06/2012 00:00:00It really does feel like anIt really does feel like an upmarket sushi restaurant in sao paolo. The food (especially sushinho roll and the cassava) and cocktails also taste exactly like in Brazil.
It's like going away on holiday for a few hours.29/04/2012 00:00:00
