They don't hold back on the spice like some Thai restaurants and the food is quick and of a high quality. Sticky rice and mango for dessert is a winner! They also have a nice selection of cocktails and for a central london restaurant it is very good value for money. Even after we finished eating and paid the bill (which was value for money), we stayed talking for another half an hour, without bring looked at or asked to leave. Felt comfortable in our surroundings. Its atmosphere was nice and peaceful and the food are fabulous! It's great to have business gathering or casual occasions like birthday party or girls night out. The food is great, good cocktails (although I ordered one with chili which was CRAZY HOT for me!)
The service wasn't so good this time though, we felt a bit rushed as our waiter kept coming over, was clearing up quickly and generally gave the impression we shouldn't stay too long! It's literally less than 5 mins away from Covent Garden tube station, tucked away in a slightly quieter corner, away from millions of tourists. It's attractive from the outside and nicely decked out inside too - good ambience. The staff were attentive, prices reasonable and the food was really tasty, great flavours. Often Thai can be greasy and tastes the same wherever you go but the food was of a slightly higher quality than your bog standard Thai. One of the dishes we ordered was sweet and sour chicken but it wasn't overpowering and glupey as you often expect. The cocktails are good too. The service was very discreet but attentive. We received helpful suggestions when ordering and the food was tasty. Even when we asked for our bill abruptly because we had to get to a show the service was very efficient in helping us out. I was pleasantly surprised at the spacious restaurant floor. The service was attentive and courteous, and the starters in particular were cleverly presented. All of the food was very tasty and the majority of my group have visited Thailand and they all approved with vigour!

I was really pleased with the venue, and enjoyed my meal of Sea Bass and sticky rice. (However I was surprised by the texture of the rice which is nothing like Chinese sticky rice). I booked Sude for my birthday a few months later, and I was very pleased with the night. I was able to increase my table size from 10 to 16 and then 18 with very short notice, and they were able to accomodate my friends with food allergies. It was immediately in front of the main entrance (which had no lobby/screen from the elements). Every time somebody entered we got a blast of cold damp air so prior to our food arriving we asked to move to the rear of the downstairs area. I think our next visit would see us requesting a table upstairs as it looked nicer with a better ambience.
