A word from Sticky Fingers
Born in 1989 to legendary Rolling Stones rocker, Bill Wyman. Sticky Fingers Café was aptly named in tune to the infamous album released by the band and was the concept of Bill Wyman’s idea of what kind of restaurant he enjoyed and London should have some it too.

This haven of good times, great food, and original Stones memorabilia continues to provide an enviable environment for eating, drinking, and having fun.

Bill Wyman’s Sticky Fingers remains one of London’s favored restaurants serving award winning burgers, great tender steaks, and the best ribs in London. The service is always friendly and welcoming testifying that Sticky Fingers is even stronger today than the trend it started many years ago.

  • "As I had colleagues from Australia and NZ over, I thought I'd like to take them for some lunch at a place which was slightly different to what is on offer in their counties. Good food and great service amongst regalia about the world's greatest rock and roll band certainly did the trick. I've been before and I have no doubt they will recommend the experience to fellow friends of theirs who visit our glorious country."

  • "The meal was very good although the diners who ordered steaks were disappointed with the size of meal and that there was not enough! The cocktails were very good. Tables in the middle of the room not big enough really to hold four people plus the food and feel comfortable. The ambience vey relaxing but can get quite noisy so difficult to hear your friends speak sometimes."

  • "Having eaten at Sticky Fingers several times over the last few years we felt confident taking our son and his partner here as part of a 'London treat'. I wish we hadn't bothered. Whilst appreciating the need to refresh the menu, what was served up was no better than average, less so in the case of the 'prison plate'. The food was cooked but just nowhere near hot enough. The ribs were ok but the 'slaw' was thick and tasteless. The burgers were the only redeeming feature but the chips were overlooked and served on tin plates!!!! Why? Desserts were OK. We won't be back for a return visit anytime soon."

  • "Can't get no satisfaction? You will at Bill's place, great ambience even though we were there mid afternoon, I imagine its even better as an evening / night time venue. Service was great, food was awesome will definitely be going back. Tiny tiny niggle is with the TBone steak, the steak itself was cooked to perfection, but really, 5 chips? 5! Not even thick cut chunky jobs, c'mon guys be a bit more generouse with the fried :-) Otherwise get yourself down there!"

  • "We were a small party of 5 , 3 adults and 2 boys ageed 11and13. Opening service was very slow. The food was not very hot. Neither boy enjoyed their burger or ribs One other adult had a burger and thought it was cold as were the chips. The other 2 adults had southern fried chicken which was nice. Expected better."

  • "I have been eating at Sticky Fingers for many years and up until now I found it to have a great choice for everyone on their menu. They have now changed the menu and its not as varied and I found it limited in comparison to the old menu and I won't be rushing back, as I preferred the restaurant when you were spoiled for choice!"

  • "We had their hamburger, but it was not even close to what it had been like a few months ago. The chips were like mummified and oversalted. Our guess was that they were chips they had fried earlier and then they reheated them. The ends of the bacon hanging out at the sides of the burger bun looked overdone, dark and desiccated. Since the part of the bacon inside the bun looked less cooked, these also seemed to have been previously fried and then re-warmed slices of bacon. The bun was dry, like it had been standing for days. So, Bill, you need to have a look at our restaurant! We won't be going back."

  • "Good food, keen and attentive service and most enjoyable, Restaurant quiet and could have been different if very busy. Overall, fine."

  • "The quality of the food was poor, cheese burger and pulled pork sandwhich full of grissle, fries were rock hard and the service was terrible, you actually brought is our bill out before desert which we then waited another twenty mins for then cancelled, the email says reservation for two hours ee spent most of that just waiting for the dinner to come out"

  • "The restaurant is just your regular cheerful american diner style food, but with a fantastic atmosphere that makes it truly unique. The decor and music come together so that you feel transported for a while. Great fun!"

  • "Our waitress was polite but very snooty. We ordered our food and admired the memorabilia and music. As Stones fans, we had looked forward to our visit. The starter arrived in a reasonable time. Food was not presented particularly well and portions quite small. Then we had to wait for over an hour for the main course to arrive. During this time we were totally ignored by staff. The waitress serving us did not come near. After enquiring where our food was it eventually turned up after 7.20 (we arrived at 6pm). We were given a round of free drinks for the wait, but by then we just wanted to eat and go. Food was overcooked and rushed. We were an after thought. No care was taken to ensure a nice experience. We felt uncomfortable. It was awful."

  • "There's a lot of American restaurants opening in London so it can be hard to find a gem amongst the masses. This one comes complete with a rock theme so think of somewhere more like Hard Rock Cafe. It creates a great atmosphere and the staff appear to like working there. On top the food is great and there's something for everyone. They do decent milkshakes too which is a great bonus (oddly, they only appear on the desert menu). It's great if you want to go for a decent meal with a group of friends."

  • "Went for a friends birthday. The food was amzing (go for the southern fried chicken) and we had a star deal which was really good value. Mojito's were lovely! The atmosphere was nice, and we got a booth seat so was able to have a look at all the memorabilia around the restaurant. Would really recommend it, especially for a special occassion."

  • "We went for an early meal on a Friday night for a birthday which meant it was happy hour so the cocktails were cheap. We all had ribs which were the best we've had and really good value (only 3 out of 4 finished them). The 2 hours we had for the table was ample. The cocktails were spot on. cGood food good service and staff were very friendly. The decor is cool. Would definitely go back and recommend it. All in all good fun."

  • "It was our first time at the restaurant having chosen it based upon reviews about it being a "family friendly" restaurant and owned by Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones. The food was of a very high standard as was the service. However, we expected something different in terms of ambience and experience. You would not know that you were in Sticky Fingers or the Hard Rock Cafe. The decor and especially the amenities are in need of updating. From a family perspective this is a restaurant for families with very young children. However, our teenagers did enjoy the quality of the food."

  • "Service excellent, good atmosphere. Ace ribs and cold, cold beer. Only points off for fries, didn't seem crisp and freshly made."
    dined on 26/03/2014
  • "The food was terribly over priced very poor quality. I advise not to get the mash and gravy as it instant mash. Overall the food was the worst and the bill was so high off two people. Complete waste of time! The fried chicken was the worse by far. The local kebab shop does better chicken!"

  • "We were four having a meal while at business visit to London. Had not been there for some years, but remembered it better than this. Very few people can also be a plus but the athmosphere was not there, and attention to us as a group we hade expected would be better. Most negative was the food that was not very warm and also lacked the smoky and tasty flavor that we should have on spareribs. Sauce was not very sticky and sweet at all but the meat was on the dry side and tasted more like pork chops than spareribs. Dessert was not memorable either. Had expected that the music would be more in the 'Stones' category - it was far from that."

  • "This was the first time I have been to this restaurant and visited it as it is unique and the food selection was great as I love american style dining and my partner is american. We went on Monday for Monday Madness and the prices were fantastic. The service was the best I have ever had in a restaurant, the waitress was tentative but not probing. Then the food came out and it was like heaven- the food is incredible! My partner and I will definitely be returning!"

  • "Attended the restaurant recently and was very disappointed with the new menu...not much on offer and vegetarian options are next to nothing, I think there was only one option available to vegetarians, cocktails on the alcohol menu was minimal. Eventually after being left with no choice but to order something at least edible the food arrived Luke warm and chips were stone cold, everybody else said that their chips were also cold but as they were so hungry they ate what was at lease warm, I called the waiter and asked for a new set of chips which arrived at a good temperature but were very crunchy and hard. The taste of the food was bland, everybody had near enough the same views (table of 10), won't be back there in a hurry"

  • "Front of house service was excellent, unfortunately that was where it stopped. The waiting staff were sullen and unattentive, as we had to ask 4 times for some water to be brought to the table. on the second occasion we asked, we could see that the girl we asked forgot it as soon as she left our table. Eventually the waiter, who was the 1st one we asked, brought the water on our 4th time of asking, with no attempt of an apology, he just dumped it in front of us without a word. Also we noticed the bill automatically adds 12.5% for service charge, which I feel added insult to injury, The food & atmosphere were however good, although we did feel that the restaurant was far too warm, hence the need for the water!"

  • "This is second time to Sticky Fingers, except this time we got the exclusive 50% off food bill offer with toptable.com. Occasional promotions run at Sticky Fingers but nothing can compared to this 50% off a la carte offer. A hidden rule is to order a min 2 courses each.... but dont let it down and I will explain why. The 4 of us orderd sticky ribs and burgers as mains and my friends were most impressed with the signature ribs. We were tempted to order appetizer or puddings to make up for the second course but ended giving up as the mains were huge. Fortunately milk shake comes under Dessert so we ordered one each and had the solution to redeem the 50% off offer."

  • "When I was in school my parents used to bring me to Sticky Fingers during half term... Ribs, BBQ sauce everywhere and a pile of bones to show for it... finger licking goodness. We returned to Sticky Fingers now in my 30's and was very disappointed. The food was OK, but very fatty and a bit on the greasy side and for some strange reason, even though we ordered two whole racks of ribs, all that was left were four bones... four... out of two whole racks!?!?! :-("

  • "The starters are good, we were three people tok three different starters. The burgers was the a big disappointment. No taste, boring.Great US restaurant laidback feeling."

  • "Enjoyed our meal at Sticky Fingers on Friday & would have given it 5/5 apart from the fact that it took a long time to get our main meal, and we noticed the table next to us who had placed their order after us got their order first..perhaps something to do with the fact that one of their party a famous TV presenter? Who knows. Very friendly service, buzzy atmosphere and tasty menu so we had a good evening. Would have been better if kids menu came with salad & fries rather than one or the other..just so there was a nod to something with some nutritional value..but let's be honest this is not a health food restaurant nor would I want it to be!!"

  • "This was our second visit to Sticky Fingers which is 5 min walk from Hight st kensington underground. We were shown straight to our table . It was a little quiet as we had booked our table for early evening . It can get very busy, especially with families and small children. Food is great. My fav has to be the ribs. They are to die for !! I had requested a birthday cake for my husband at the time of booking, but it was short notice and I would of understood it they couldn't do anything, but sure enough, although not a cake they did put a candle in his cheesecake and they all sang happy birthday accompanied by surrounding diners. We both had a lovely time and will defiantly return. Well done sticky fingers !"

  • "We were there early in the evening pre-theatre. It was myself and my daughter. Food was fantastic and excellent value. Restaurant was very quiet as it was early in the evening but staff were on a go slow. Service wasnt the best but value for money very good. I had to look for a waiter/waitress each time we needed something, i.e bill. The kids menu is excellent value for money."

  • "I have been to Sticky Fingers a few times in the past and always liked it. I decided to take my husband there for dinner on Sunday 9 March and the overall experience was terrible. We arrived a little early before our booking but waited 10 minutes for a waitress to take our order. Having sat down at 5pm, we did not receive our starter until 5:35pm. Restaurant was not full. Our main course did not arrive until 6:15pm. We did not order dessert because we had to leave to attend a show. The staff were perfectly pleasant. I ordered the Cajun blackened salmon and it was bland. My husband was mildly satisfied with his steak but he won't be returning for that. The squid was salty and the sauce was hot and flavourless.I felt robbed of £60!"

  • "Took family out for a post matinee meal. Food was good, great comfort food, but service was very slow, perhaps Saturday night this is standard, it took an hour and 15 minutes to get the main course. Kids were going mad with starvation by 8pm! We arrived at 7.05 pm."

  • "This was our second visit, previously we had the rack of bbq pork ribs, the best we had anywhere. We were luck as they had a special on, beef short ribs. Three of us had these, and they were great. The fourth had a burger, nice but jealous of our choice. You get the staple sides as per any burger and ribs joint, it's the meat that wins it for us. For a busy Friday night the service was quick and friendly, great for a party."

  • "Had a pleasant meal for four yesterday. Starters excellant. Two of us had sirloin steak (turf) and extra prawns (surf). The prawns cost £5 for four prawns. Not impressed! Staff excellent."
