More people should walk the slight extra distance from Stratford centre because it's a great place. The setting is very smart Italian (brocade and marble busts). The people are lovely - welcoming and friendly. The food is good (excellent selection). We had the set 3 course menu for £25 per head. With drinks, the bill came to around £125.
It was unfussy and great for a family celebration. We've struggled to find restaurants in the past that offer good food without being pompous or pricey and I think we found a gem. We found the staff very friendly and the food was gorgeous! Thoroughly, enjoyed the experience . Each time I come here I'm always surprised by how they manage to keep the food so hot, I can't imagine ever asking for anything to be re-heated.
