Service was good and it was a great evening. The only problem is that if you are with a group of more than four people you can't chat easily to your friends as the tables are set in a horse shoe shape around the chef. All my friends realllyyy enjoyed themselves and had such a laugh which made my birthday very special indeed. The chef was really entertaining and sweet, and made it even more special by letting me join in with the entertainment! The vegetarian options are excellent and there is plenty for met eaters. We chose and waited ........ then started to look around and laugh! The chef at the open cookers next to the tables are wonderful to watch - it is an act but very amusing if the guests play along with it. Not only do the chefs play around with the knives but they also involve the guests - if you want! It was a very enjoyable night and we stayed for 3 hours although we were not very hungry and had 2 simple courses. The service from both waiting staff and the chef who prepared our meal in front of us was fantastic. There was a lot of interaction with the chef during cooking - it's quite a performance! - so not ideal if you're after a quiet, serious conversation, but for a fun, tasty night out it was perfect. We will definitely be returning. All the food was delicious; the tilapia fillet was the highlight for us. We also enjoyed steak and calamari as part of our main course. I have previously been to this restaurant and also to the one in Islington. Sen Nin is always very entertaining with the chef really making the meal, in entertainment as well as food value!
I prefer the Camden branch of this restaurant as I find the staff are much better organised as well as approachable.
