Seafish RestaurantAlways good food and serviceI have visited this restaurant, which is a converted pub, many times. The food is excellent with a comprehensive menu. Not just traditional fish and chips. Staff are very friendly and attentive Restaurant decorated more like a Bistro with a lovely atmosphere. There is a play area outside for children. Cod melts in your mouth every time with batter to die for. Service brilliant. Staff very friendly and helpful makes your meal more memorable. Go to the Seafish - the cod and haddock were exceptional,but if you fancy something different then try the swordfish.
Decor is modern and comfortable,and when we had the billl,wow,we would have paid double(Whitby prices) and considered it good value!!28/01/2013 16:00:00Good food at a nice priceFor a sit-down meal the price was excellent. 6 good sized meals plus drinks for less than £60. The vegetarian option was very tasty, although it would be nice to have more alternatives. I had the same meal as last time and I like to try different options so probably won't return in the near future. The service wasn't quite as good as last time either. The initial reception was from a young lady who seemed rather disinterested and, bearing in mind the restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, we waited a while for our order to be taken. However, it was quick enough in arriving and the quality was very good. Pleasant atmosphere and the decor was clean and smart.
