Nice evening, ordered the Chicken

We went for dinner and told we had
to be done in 2 hours .. not great but not unusual these days ... My cod was cooked perfectly, the rhubard trifle was to die for, our waitress was lovely/attentive and restaurant had a great vibe - quite a treat for a restaurant to get it all right.. explains why there was not an empty seat in the restaurant or bar area. It was our first time there and I am looking forward to going back."

I have food intolerances, and I
was able to eat three courses of delicious food - a rare occurence! Staff are attentive, professional and knowledgeable. We'll come back, and recommend this place to friends."

Sam's Brasserie is a local
masterpiece. The food is always stunning, and the service is brilliant. The drinks selection is superb, and the menu varies often enough to keep you coming back for more. I've eaten here a few times, and never had a bad experience."

Anpother good meal at Sams. Ate
off the 5:2 set dinner menu which was very tasty and more than enough. Service was slightly overattentive if anything but very good"

I booked our anniversary meal at
Sam's Brasserie on the strength of the reviews I'd seen on toptable, and I was definitely not disappointed. The staff were attentive, friendly, informative and helpful, and the food was absolutely fantastic - I could quite happily have eaten a second helping of absolutely everything. This was our first time eating there, but I'm sure it won't be the last!"

10 of us (7 adults & 3 kids) had a
most enjoyable lunch. Good value and superb service, will definitely return!"

What a wonderful vibrant
atmosphere with a mixed of different ages enjoying themselves, drinking exquisite cocktails. It was our fist time at SAMS and after several Mojitos and Margaritas we were shown to our table. There was a good selection of food on the menu to cater for all tastes, but l always look around to see what other people were eating. The ribs caught my eye but the burgers also looked very tempting. I opted for the ribs and my wife, Vicky for the steak. I have eaten ribs in many places but I have to admit this was the most delicious ribs we had both tasted. The steak was just as delicious, subtly cooked to perfection. We had a great time and will visit again soon, and in our case it will be a case of play it again SAM."

An interesting and ever changing
menu, with food beautifully presented and executed. Lots of great and original ideas, with cooking of real panache. The cocktails got 5 stars for originality and great flavours too! Lovely staff. Overall, a terrific evening out."

We chose Sam's because of the
advertised 5:2 diet menu and we were not disappointed. The dishes were imaginative and the serving sizes perfectly adequate. The restaurant was very quiet - a Monday lunchtime; we would like to try it again on a busier occasion."

The food was amazing, service was
brilliant, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely will return and recommend."

Not been in a while but glad to
say that on my return, it did not disappoint. Friendly staff, prompt service and a good atmosphere adds to the fact that the food and wine was very good - will definitely return and can thoroughly recommend"

Visited last week for the first
time and was impressed with the staff and the ambience of Sam's. The starters of calamari and cauliflower soup were both nice and then moved into the main courses. I had the Maryland hot chicken which lacked any kind of flavour and seemed to lack the hot/spicy element and placed on a bit too much coleslaw. My partner ordered the venison which seemed to be flavoured a lot more and was quite nice. The puddings were all a bit odd and nothing seemed to grab our taste buds apart from maybe the ice cream/sorbet but at £6 for 3 scoops not sure how this is justified? So we left without pudding. I think the food is slightly over priced for what it is after coming to £75 for 2 courses and one glass of wine each."

An excellent meal, with the added
bonus of a special burger for Australia Day!"
dined on 26/01/2014
We like to use Sam's for special
occasions such as family birthdays. Last Saturday was one such. The booking was easy and with a call on the day we got the table we like. Food as usual was excellent. The cauliflower soup was a particular hit. Ribs and the steaks were great (even though one was under done, our fault - this was soon corrected) However what made the evening special was the professional, helpful and friendly service of our waitress. See you in April. Norman Dallow"

Good service by friendly staff.
Good brunch food with enough variety for a vegetarian amongst us."
dined on 18/01/2014
You have a reasonable range of
food and wine from which to choose. Can get a little busy as its a popular place"
dined on 14/01/2014
I had a lovely dinner here with 5
girlfriends. Most of us had the ribs which were absolutely wonderful. The spiced sweet potato mash was excellent as well. The only criticism would be our booth was quite dark and could have used a candle on the table. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said they ran out of candles. We suggested they move one of the larger candles to our table which they did straight away. We also had to request the waiter to top up our wine glasses which lay empty for a while. Can't fault the food though which was delicious."

Took my family here for my
birthday, and all had a marvelous time. It was our first visit after finding the restaurant online. The food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely go again."
dined on 12/01/2014
Always a good local choice. bar is
fun and staff are attentive. menu could do with being a little more broad but good for couples, out with friends and family too."
dined on 11/01/2014
Favorite spot for the whole family
and also for wife and I on "date night" without kids. Good sized bar area for drinks. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Unpretentious but food is consistently excellent. Kids love that we can get bar food (burgers) in the main dining room."

One of the very many good
restaurants in Chiswick. This long established brasserie in a former light industrial building provide surprisingly good food and ambience. Great for all types of entertaining be it taking out the family and kids or a more intimate dinner for two. Excellent service that was attentive without being intrusive and a nice menu that was well presented. Looking through the glass front of the kitchen it was a pleasure to see professionals taking pride in their work."

we went as a group of 6 when the
restaurant was almost empty and it still felt like a great place to eat. We all enjoyed the food and had a right groovy time."
dined on 29/12/2013
The menu offered quite a big
variety of choices and the starter and main I ordered were tasty. Ambience is nice as well. Will come again."
dined on 29/12/2013
We frequent Sam's a number of
times over the year and it rarely disappoints. The food is always top class as is the service and ambience. Long may it continue."
dined on 23/12/2013
Have visited twice now - food was
great on both occasions, as was the service. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A nice little place to eat away from the high road. And the butterscotch martinis are superb!"
dined on 19/12/2013
Desk had lost Tabletop
reservation, but tables available at Sat at 9pm. My wife got a big and tasty salad. I had the venison. All very good. Nice and festive atmosphere. Liked that they sold 500 ml carafes of wine. Will definitely go back."

Had dinner with an old colleague
on 12th December. Service was good. It was busy with a Christmas party and over the evening the restaurant generally filled up with other ordinary diners. We were sat in a slight alcove, which meant that the noise didn't disturb our conversation. I would imagine if you were in the middle that it might have been difficult to chat without raising your voice. The menu, although not large, had a good choice of options. The wine menu offered a decent number of options. Having the 500ml carafe was a nice touch. The food was very tasty. My ex-colleague had the Hake and I had the vegetarian option with the Squash. Both were lovely. Desserts were decadent without being heavy. Fab. Will return."
dined on 12/12/2013
nice mest dishes and salads but
the one vegetarian option was very bland....."

We had a girls dinner at Sam's on
Thursday evening. As always, the restaurant was buzzing and we received a lovely warm welcome from the guys on reception and our waitress. Venison was delicious. Wine of the month was excellent and good value. We are lucky to have such a great local."
dined on 12/12/2013
nothing to complain about apart
from the bill it prices its dishes as if it is a gourmet / high end place but in fact is a just a nice spimple food place in chiswick"
dined on 05/12/2013
I booked a table for 2 for a date
and we almost run late so called the restaurant and they had no problem that we would be 30mins late. The place is awesome n the food was delicious, served withing mins of ordering. The waiters checked that we were alright all the time and after dinner we went to the bar n listened to live music, very soulful. I really enjoyed the nite. Thx a bunch"
dined on 07/12/2013
Service was dreadful the noise was
deafening. Cocktails tasted awful - starters had a funny taste or burnt and the main course arrived about 1 hour after the starters plates were taken away. Loads of staff running round I think it was the kitchen that was the problem ie no management guidance."
dined on 29/11/2013
Sam's is a particular favourite of
mine being one of the best local restaurants around. They also have a fantastic range of cocktails. I have to say I was a little dissapointed on our last visit for dinner. The service was good as usual but I'm definitely not a fan of the winter menu. I felt like they were missing just one simple dish for a bit of winter comfort, it was all a bit too fussy for me. I'm not a fuddy duddy by any means when it comes to food, but when it's cold and dark sometimes you just crave something simple and comforting. It's a personal thing and I would still reccommend Sam's. One thing I would say though - the sharing board at £15 is over priced for what it was. Won't order that again"
