Sake No HanaGreat LunchSame great food as in the evenings....but not full and really chilled out. Very nice set sushi and sashimi lunches really not expensive........very pleased we went.17/05/2013 00:00:00Sake No Hana has a very exclusiveSake No Hana has a very exclusive feel to it. Service was very polite and helpful, if slightly overbearing. The food was delicious, particularly the sushi. Even the dessert, for which Japanese cuisine isn't renowned for, was lovely. Without e offer it would have been on the expensive side but that's why one can expect for a restaurant of its calibre in that part of town. Would definitely go again.17/05/2013 00:00:00stylish with great service and foodWe went for the set menu- 4 courses + glass of sparkling, available early evening. Unlike many set menus , the food was of an excellent quality. A sophisticated ambience with wonderful service make this place highly recommended although the a la carte prices reflect the quality.11/05/2013 00:00:00Booked the £29 set menu withBooked the £29 set menu with a glass of prosecco via toptable. The service was excellent and the food was delcious; it exceeded all my expectations of a set menu. I've already booked to go again.01/05/2013 00:00:00ExquisiteOnce you have tasted the Sushi at "Sake no Hana"
you won't want to eat anywhere else. So close your eyes
and let the Sushi melt on your tongue.
A perfect mix: the atmosphere, the ambiance and
the food.27/04/2013 00:00:00deliciousFood was really good n i want to go there again ^^23/04/2013 00:00:00Great food, great serviceMy friend and I recently dined at Sake No Hana for her birthday and we experienced amazing food with professional and courteous staff who made every effort to ensure we had a lovely time.19/04/2013 00:00:00Sake no Hana did not dissapoint.Sake no Hana did not dissapoint. The staff were extremely helpful when selecting from the menu. The cocktails and wine were delicious and not that expensive.
We had a wonderful evening and I would recommend18/04/2013 00:00:00PerfectionOrdered the vegetarian multi-course menu. Each dish was superb. The service was outstanding. Will definitely go again.12/04/2013 00:00:00my new favourite placeI cannot fault this evening, the best service coupled with the most amazing food and drinks. The staff couldn't do enough for us and I for one cannot wait to return. We were not rushed even though it was a 2 hour turnaround on the table and the service charge was well earned. Great suggestions and accommodation of fussy eaters and dietary requirements too.05/04/2013 00:00:00Lovely eve with friendsGreat offer- 4 courses if yummy food. Great cocktails to compliment and for a friend who can't eat soya sauce, a very helpful waitress. Would definitely recommend with this offer, in fact already have !04/04/2013 00:00:00Great dinnerWe had a great dinner, lovely Japanese food, the restaurant is beautiful and atmosphere is great. Not the cheapest but a good choice for special occasions.29/03/2013 00:00:00Excellent ServiceWent to Sake No Hana for dinner last Saturday. Food was very good and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Service was probably one of the best in london. Excellent experience. Would definitely go back!09/03/2013 00:00:00Could not faultSecond time I've been here and was even better than the first. So much flavour in all the dishes and beautiful presentation. Will be back!26/02/2013 00:00:00Special occasions onlyThis was a belated Valentine's treat. Everything was delightful except the final bill!23/02/2013 00:00:00Great Food & serviceThe food and service was excellent.
Had the Brunch Menu £38pp. Food was excellent and lots of it. Served with excellence and the waitress was lovely.
Even to the extent of making the dessert look beautiful with a Happy Birthday Message written on it.16/02/2013 00:00:00Fantastic meal! The restuarant was fantastic from the first moment of entering the premises and to the last moment, the service & food was a night to remember.15/02/2013 00:00:00ExcellentThe restaurant was amazing. The food was very tasy, fresh and it surprised me in a pleasant way. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in real traditional japanese food.13/02/2013 00:00:00Midweek feastAmazing sushi, amazing presentation, amazing dessert. I would eat there every day if I could have afford it. Very expensive but high quality06/02/2013 00:00:00Excellent architecture creatingExcellent architecture creating a cool foreign atmosphere very different from the street outside.
Good food.
Annoying reception staff who must have been told to create an exclusive rather than friendly atmosphere. Not really my thing.31/01/2013 16:00:00great food, not cheapThe place is very nice and both food and service very good. I'm usually very picky about food but here I could pick anything random and I'm sure I'd like it. Of course is not a place you can think as a cheap or average priced but it's worth the money.
Good both for romantic dinner as for a group night out.25/01/2013 16:00:00Great food, mediocre serviceThe food here was excellent and good value. Rather than opt for the toptable £29 lunch menu we had a set sashimi and set lunch plate each and shared. The sashimi was great, and generous, the set lunch was varied and presentation was good.25/01/2013 16:00:00ate 4 coursed mealAte sushi ,the food tasted unusual especially the soup because it had some unusual spices in it.23/01/2013 00:00:00Excellent food and serviceAs usual food and service were outstanding. I can also recommend a cocktail at Ni Ju San before you go upstairs to enjoy your dinner.21/01/2013 16:00:00romantic dinnerIf there is such a thing as a sexy romantic meal, the food in Sake No Hana will be it.
Melt in your month sashimi, followed by crispy prawn to tease the tastebud while the ever reliable hot sake to spiced up the romance of the food in your mouth, you will be left wanting more!20/01/2013 16:00:00Excellent Food - at a priceWe booked for the Taste of Sake no Hana special offer. Four courses for £29, and really pretty good value. Food was excellent, but as it was a special occasion we ordered a few extra dishes for the table, and a couple of drinks, and suddenly we were looking at £70 a head!
The food was well worth it though, the grilled dishes were original (sea bass being the highlight), tempura crispy but not oily, and the sushi fresh and well prepared. The desert (a raspberry delice) was a big unexpected positive - I'm not normally a desert person, but this was really excellent.
Service was extremely attentive and polite, though occasionally a bit too softly spoken for the whole table to hear.
Recommended.17/01/2013 16:00:00LovelyI invited 5 other friends to have dinner and wine and this venue and they were all very pleased with their meal. I personally love this place and can't get enough of their food. I recommend to try out their chicken wings for starter and cod rice for main. I can't wait for my next visit,17/01/2013 00:00:00Great Value Taster DinnerDecent portions in the 29pound three course Taster menu. It actually turned out to be four courses. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and were very good with recommending dishes. We even asked to split a cocktail because we were both driving and they obliged by making one cocktail but put it into two glasses.16/01/2013 16:00:00Very Upmarket, Stylish JapaneseSake no Hana is a very stylish Japanese dining experience providing a well-thought out menu with a well polished ambience, slick decor and highly groomed service. Whilst this might take something away for those who crave for authenticity in their Japanese food, for those who enjoy a luxurious exotic dining experience in the heart of Mayfair, look no further and on the top-table deal it's something of a bargain!
PS if you go, make sure you try their yam miso broth... It's a revelation!14/01/2013 16:00:00I like JapaneseFood was excellent and the pudding outstanding.
A little clinical in atmosphere but good service13/01/2013 16:00:00We took the meal deal forWe took the meal deal for £29 (after 10pm) on Saturday evening, we were a bit early so were directed to the bar for a drink. Great tasting cocktails for about £10, not too bad for London. After we were seated well before 10pm, we were told about the meal deal which sounded great: Dumpling miso soup, choice between 4 mains, choice between 2 sushi alternatives (incl vegetarian) and great raspberry dessert. Absolutely amazing food, fresh sushi, beef was very tasty. We took one a la carte sushi roll (as recommended by the waiter) - Mango Soft shell crab roll, to die for! Service was amazing throughout. On the expensive side if ordered a la carte (but worth it), meal deal is a great bargain! We will certainly return.11/01/2013 16:00:00Wonderful serviceThis is probably the best service I have experienced in any restuarant (and I have been to a few top class restaurants). The staff are attentative but not intrusive. Always on cue with water, wine and food delivery. The food was delicious and fresh with a multitude of Sakes to choose from and even different grades of tuna sashimi. Ambience is casual yet classy, you can feel relaxed here and it is not at all pretentious. If you love Japanese food, you will not be disappointed at Sake No Hana.11/01/2013 16:00:00Lovely Decor, Great food & ValueIts a lot smaller than its Yau stable mates, but still has the grand visual impact of its bigger brothers.
We had the 4 course meal priced at £29 and the meal came to £127 for two with a bottle of wine. The food was great, the service very good and the value spot on. The draw back of this deal, there was no choice in the menu (i'm fine with that) and as we were booked in at 7pm i felt the staff we rushing us through to make way for the A la Carte dinner later on. Fair enough.
For a taster this was perfect and know i know the restaurant was top quality I'd be more than willing to go back when an offer wasnt on to sample the menu and enjoy a longer meal.11/01/2013 16:00:00Great but some things overpricedTop service and ambience. Food is a little on the pricey side, but was delicious anyway. Nice bar downstairs.10/01/2013 16:00:00Restaurant very nice, priceRestaurant very nice, price are very reasonable. Enjoyed very much will recommend to our friends.04/01/2013 16:00:00Pleasantly surprised....Googled Japanese restaurants on the morning as wanted a late lunch on same day.
Had been to Hakkasans before and thought this would be a good choice as under same ownership.
Restaurant not busy as post xmas/new year.Cocktail bar was not open on the Saturday lunch. Good service from the
moment we entered the building right throgh to our exit.Special set lunch was excellent value. Can not find fault with our very
enjoyable dining experience.04/01/2013 16:00:00We come here at least onceWe come here at least once a month. It is surprisingly good value for money even though it is not inexpensive. My most recent visit to Sake No Hana was the night after I had dinner at Nobu. Although the food at Sake No Hana is not quite as good as that at Nobu in many ways it is more innovative than that at Nobu at at less than half the price it is hard to see why I would go back to Nobu any time soon. My only real complaint about Sake No Hana is that the drinks take way too long to arrive after they have been ordered.04/01/2013 16:00:00Fantasic service with fantasicFantasic service with fantasic food and a brilliant place to dine21/12/2012 16:00:00Excellent Japanese FoodThe quality of the food was outstanding and the portions generous. We had Miso Soup with wild mushrooms, delicious sashimi and tempura and an truly outstanding teryaki lamb chop. Our only complaint was the awful music.17/12/2012 00:00:00Sake No HanaIt was the first time I had been to Sake No Hana, previously thinking it would be too expensive. However, it was very good value, and all the courses on the tasting menu were delicious. The staff were very helpful and good at making recommendations, and we were very impressed by the decor. I would definitely go back16/12/2012 16:00:00Good location adn great fresh foodThis is a great place if you like fresh Asian food but gets quite noisy very quickly. the service is fairly quick and consistent so a great night out15/12/2012 00:00:00Gorgeous interior designLovely place and good service though foods portion is a bit small13/12/2012 16:00:00very good sushi beautifulvery good sushi beautiful restaurant beautiful food08/12/2012 00:00:00stylish JapaneseWe enjoyed our meal at this fashionable and elegant Japanese restaurant. The service was very professional and portions generous. The surroudings are airy and comfortable. After our meal, we enjoyed a drink at the ground floor bar.26/10/2012 00:00:00Interesting Japanese versionsInteresting Japanese versions of traditional cocktails are an excellent start to the evening. Followed by interesting modern sushi and black cod rice. On the several occassions that I have been to Sake No Hana the food has been consistently very good and not outrageously expensive (as can be the case with other Japanese restaurants).19/10/2012 00:00:00£35 tasting menu was greatWent to Sake no hana at 7pm on a Wed, not overly busy but good atmosphere still. attentive staff. tasting menu was great. started with a selection of mini things, seared tuna, seared salmon, beef, duck, vegetable, v.tasty and amazingly presented. Then a choice between beef and sea food. Then sushi. Then clam miso soup. Dessert and tea. great value, great food. would go again01/08/2012 00:00:00I've been to Sake No HanaI've been to Sake No Hana several times, but unfortunately this meal didn't quite live up to prior ones. The decor and ambience are still there, the mood is right and the service is good, but the quality of some of the non-sushi food was no longer excellent and instead ranged from decent to good. Sushi is still excellent though, so if you stick to that, you shouldn't be disappointed.13/07/2012 16:00:00The Hakkasan of Japanese foodThis restaurant is a welcome addition to the growing band of fine Japanese dining inLondon. With its central location, warm ambience and fine cuisine, it is a good option for when one feels like Japanese food or wants to try something different and exotic.22/06/2012 00:00:00Love this placePick this place if you want an ambient restaurant with really good food. The Alaskan crab is delicious. It will be in my top 10 list of restaurants to go to in London.25/05/2012 00:00:00Good menuSolid menu (lunch), with a good variety of contemporary and classic Japanese dishes, great lunch platter.06/05/2012 16:00:00
