I took my 18 year old niece here on a sunny Friday evening and boy did she enjoy the pre-meal cocktails served up with flair and a smile. I went for the fish cakes to start and my niece had the calamari. We were both very pleased with our choices, my rich cakes were full of flavour and my niece said it was the best calamari she'd tasted in a very long time. For mains we both plumped for the sesame chicken salad and what a great choice this was! Succulent chicken, full of flavour accompanied by fresh dressed salad, just right for a balmy summer evening. No room for dessert but all of this washed down with another refreshing cocktail (or two..). Why bother going to London, this place simply rocks! The proprietor of this fine restaurant is a genius. You enter an establishment that is unique, vibrant, smart yet casual, with oustanding service and cuisine. It's worth noting if you want to drill down into the detail, that some Dweeb on a past review commented that the Creme Brulee was too runny, what total twaddle it was stunning, as was everything else, had Sea Bass and I would have eaten the plate given half a chance! Wine was excellent too and very reasonable compared to London prices. The interior was odd but fun and looked good. The food was the best I have had in the Richmond area so far. Took my mom and daughter there who were visiting from Sweden.
