Why bother going to London, this place simply rocks! The proprietor of this fine restaurant is a genius. You enter an establishment that is unique, vibrant, smart yet casual, with oustanding service and cuisine. It's worth noting if you want to drill down into the detail, that some Dweeb on a past review commented that the Creme Brulee was too runny, what total twaddle it was stunning, as was everything else, had Sea Bass and I would have eaten the plate given half a chance! Wine was excellent too and very reasonable compared to London prices. The interior was odd but fun and looked good. The food was the best I have had in the Richmond area so far. Took my mom and daughter there who were visiting from Sweden. Only one small thing, unusual for this venue, we had to wait 45 mins for our table, as the booking was quite late anyway, 8.30pm, it flet quite late to eat as the food then took a while, so a bit disappointing!!!

The place itself has to be seen to be believed with the pink/black boudoir theme it really does feel like you're sitting in luxury. There was a wedding reception going on whilst we were there and the room that they had placed them was utterly stunning with the fabric canopies covering the ceiling...just delightful!

The food was delicious as always, although my husband tried the lamb this time and it was the winner, so soft melt in the mouth with a beautiful thai flavour, immense.

Food is great and the setting fabulous. There is a downside though and that is that the guy behind the bar spends all of his time making cocktails. We had to wait for a considerable time for the bottle of champagne we ordered on arrival to be served which was not good, it was as if our evening was on hold because of others complicated drinks.
