I booked the 50% discount on food. When I arrived I was greeted like a VIP. The Roadhouse is a bar and nightclub later at night. I had a reservation for 7pm and I can assure you the music levels were pleasant and you can have a conversation. My waiter was awesome as well. Greg is a credit to the Roadhouse and waiters everywhere. He made sure that I knew about the 2 for 1 drink deals to get things started. I'd booked expecting something very cheesy, too loud and basic food. It was loud but not too loud to hear each other talk when seated at our table, and the music made for a good ambience. The service was faultless, attentive and fast. The food was like a TGI Fridays but better, don't go expecting Michelin starred food. This is basically a place people come to party after work and grab some food.
Overall I would go back. Especially if I was looking to go somewhere reasonably priced, a place to catch up with friends, have a laugh and not worry too much about the "gastronomic experience". It has a great buzzy atmosphere. We had the offer of 2 courses and a cocktail for £14.95 which was incredible value plus 2 4 1 on all cocktails before 7.30pm. Food was actually better than I expected for a busy diner type place. Baked camembert of starters and salmon for main. I was pleasantly surprised at how soft and flaky the salmon was! We went with a two course deal which was brilliant value for money and was able to choose any meal from the main menu, where as some restaurants give you the options to only choose from a set menu with reduced options. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively & buzzy. The rack of ribs was the highlight of the meal. Overall a great experience and the meal deal offer great value for money.

After walking round Covent Garden for about half an hour we eventuallly found the restaurant which looks very small from the outside. (Make sure you know where it is before you go!)
However, once you get in it's much bigger and really well decorated! The food portions are HUGE and with a 50% off voucher from toptable, the value was well worth it- would have happily paid full price. Cocktails are a must and make sure you book, especially on a saturday night! Staff are great too.

But I have to comment on the extremely rude and aggressive Security Guard outside, his behaviour was disgraceful, he was the only thing that could have ruined the night. The Security Guards inside were brilliant though and made up for the poor behaviour we had experienced coming in. It is very much like TGI's as it serves similar food and has an American diner feel about it.
Eating in the booths was a huge plus for us as the other tables did look rather small. The starters were amazing and the main course was good. You could not fault the service in Roadhouse, and the gents toilets were pretty cool.
The value for food was excellent because of the 50% off on food deal from toptable. However, if the offer was not valid it would have been a little over priced. There was also a happy hour for drinks which was good.
