Outstanding in all respects
We had an absolutely wonderful meal - carpaccio of scallop with lemon and samphire to start - sublime; turbot with girolles and langoustine sauce - amazing; beautiful wine and port. The staff were lovely - friendly, helpful and very efficient. The restaurant is very small and intimate - perfect for couples or small groups. We could not have had a better evening.
Great dining experience
Everything was fantastic. We really enjoyed the evening. Service was excellent from the moment of our arrival, and so was the food. We dine at gourmet restaurants rather regularly and the Food served in Seven Park Place was worth revisiting the place.
Superb set lunch
The food and service at 7 Park Place were perfect, and the set lunch offers excellent value for money. The dishes were all beautifully presented. The decor, however, is a bit of an eyesore - but easily put up with for the sake of an enjoyable Saturday lunch!
Great food with great service!
We went for the taster menu with wines and we weren't disappointed with the food or the wines. Staff were polite and knowledgeable without being intrusive. They also dealt well with our request for a gluten free menu. I would recommend for any special occasion.
Remember this name 'Park Place
Remember this name 'Park Place by William Drabble' as I can assure you if you go there to dine, you will have a memorable occasion to match or exceed your expectations! For me, and I have dined around the world in such places as Moscow, New York, Tallinn, Copenhagen, Prague, and have dines in other Michelin Star restaurants (including Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons) dining at 'Seven Park Place' has allowed me to say that "this has been the best food experience I have ever had" to date! The service matched the food on quality, the wine also (which was paired with the food courses was so clever it left me and my guest beaming with pleasure at ever morsel and sip of wine) what an indulgent pleasure! I will definitely be back for more visits...
Wow - thats what I call fine dining
Fabulous food and service to match. The gastronomique menu with wines was exceptional, fully priced but worth saving for for that special occasion!
3 course lunch with wine pairings
My friend and I chose this place to enjoy a nice lunch after shopping. The restaurant is nicely decorated and intimate. The meal was exceptional particularly with the wine pairings. Although this may not be classed as a "cheap" lunch, it was good value for the quality of the food and wine served. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
Wonderful Girls Lunch
Met some girlfriends for lunch and had the set menu which was very reasonable considering the venue and quality of food. Wine was expensive but sort of expected. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Loved the little nooks and crannies - meant you weren't encroached upon by other diners. Would be very good for business lunches/meetings!
Excellent food, service & ambient
We really enjoyed our evening. We went there in March 2013 and the waiter remember the cocktail I liked. I was very impressed. They were very friendly and the service was outstanding. The food delicious. We will go back. Very nice cocktails.
Excellent Celebratory Dinner
Booked for a celebratory dinner and was not disappointed, venue was brilliant, drinks were awesome and the food was fantastic and not too filling even with all the courses. Would highly recommend.
Solid TT lunch offer - try it
Solid TT lunch offer of £30 for three courses plus a glass of wine, limited only by a 2,2,2 menu (i.e. only two choices per course). In fairness Mrs A was offered additional veggie options so that does stretch the options slightly further. Haddock risotto well presented and good in portion size as a starter, the main of duck breast was solid but nothing mind-blowing. Other starters and mains presented well and tasted good; the amuse-bouche was also a good highlight. Service remains outstanding, and compliments the quietness and 'tucked away' nature of the restaurant at the St James Hotel. Drinks reasonably priced, with the exception of a £15 G&T. All up £180 for four plus service and 3.5 hours later we were happy. Would return.
Quality food well done
We took my parents-in-law out for dinner, as a thank-you for hosting our wedding. The meal and service were excellent; the staff were helpful and efficient; and we had enough time to relax rather than being rushed through. All in all a superlative experience. Not cheap, but at this quality it's worth the money for a special occasion.
We very much enjoyed our business dinner at Seven Park Place. The setting was ideal as it enabled privacy for conversation without feeling isolated and the level of service was excellent, while discreet.
The menu provided choice that would satisfy even the fussiest eater, and the rapid appearance of gluten-free options without notice was exceptional. All four of us were very impressed with every plate of food presented and the sommelier also provided excellent advice and service.
All staff were trained to the highest level and there is no doubt that we will return.
Could have done with larger
Could have done with larger portions but, as I say above, we were pleased with the whole experience and we shall lunch there again.
I liked the option to have a glass of wine appropriate to each course with the set lunch menu. That way I get to try new wines: if I have to choose a bottle I go for one I know we like because I do not want to make an expensive mistake.
Super food and wonderful service
Our first time dining here, greeted warmly on arrival, had a wonderful cocktail at the bar- long gin one with grapefruit, def have again. We had 3 courses, mother scallop ceviche was delicious, husband loved the roast quail, then amazing sea bass and husband had lamb. Then peach dessert, a truly gorgeous meal, complemented by such lovely waiting staff. Look forward to a return visit. It's a cosy restaurant in size which makes it feel like a real treat of a dining experience. I would add, not cheap but worth the money.
Exquisite as ever
A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with all the staff extremely attentious and dedicated, where each dish is explained and the food combinations and taste is as good as the best we've had anywhere else.
Charming Restaurant, great food
We had an amazing lunch, the good was exemplary. Service was pretty amazing too.
The restaurant is down a little side street near the Ritz, in a charming hotel.
Can see why this restaurant has a Michelin star
This is one of my favourite restaurants in the UK. I frequently eat at the Waterside Inn, Gordon's and the Fat Duck, and for me I just think this place is more of a hidden gem. The decor is charming, the food is layered in flavour and intrigue and the box of petits fours at the end is a welcomed treat. I really rate this place and would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a romantic setting, a warm intimate family meal or someone looking for something a little different.
This is our favourite restaurant.
This is our favourite restaurant. It is outstanding.
Very attentive and friendly
Very attentive and friendly service, we had an extremely enjoyable meal. We chose the 3-course lunch menu including wine which proved to be a very good choice
I've heard so much about this place and thought it was about time we went for a plate of food.
The dining room feels like your inside a palace, the service makes you feel like you're a king & the food makes you smile inside & out.
Totally recommend. Michelin goodness.
Perfect, romantic dining spot
Lovely restaurant - first time dining there with my husband on a saturday evening. We had a very good first impression, we were shown into the bar and had a lovely cocktail there before dinner, recommend arriving early for this as the barman is very knowledgable and there is a nice ambiance there, very comfy and although busy it still felt quite private.
Our table was in a lovely quiet corner, very comfy chairs! Good choice of courses and a tasting menu which looked lovely but required all diners to order so I had to skip this as my husband wanted to order from the a la carte menu. Service was very good; attentive but discreet. Excellent food - we had the pork and lamb for our main course.
Would recommend and will return very soon!
Lovely place for celebration lunch
Lovely cocktails, good food and friendly service. Enjoyed a birthday lunch with friends at this beautiful venue. The menu only had 2 choices for each course , but the food was delicious. We had the TT deal with wine and for the quality of food and service in a great location, excellent value. At the end of the meal, my friend was presented with a plate of petit fours with candle and birthday message which was a thoughtful touch. We all really enjoyed the meal and will be back!
We were very impressed with the whole experience ,be that the food, service, ambience and indeed the value.
We will definitely return and recommend it to others ( as indeed we already have on Tripadvisor).
The staff were truly outstanding .
My bf and I took advantage of a fantastic value toptable lunch offer at Seven Park Place. The restaurant is small but very comfortable. The service was great - possibly leaning towards over-attentive. The food was fantastic - the banana souffle was incredible. The beef and duck were also excellent. The glass of wine included in the toptable offer was very nice. The little extra touches were also fantastic. I would highly recommend it.
One of the best! Faultless.
A simply fantastic afternoon. Upon being greeted at the door by a very friendly footman we felt extremely welcome. The service was second to none, with the staff making you feel as special when booking on the £29.50 set menu to those going a la carte, which is a rare treat in certain restaurants.
The food was spectacular, with the added treats and amouse bouches being a nice touch. The set menu is perfect and extremely reasonably priced. With choices including duck to start and slow roasted beef as a main you there is no lacking element of quality in the choices.
A perfect was to spend a Saturday afternoon in a lovely part of town. We will definitiely be going back to Seven Park Place.
Generally a good blend of flavours, with the exception of the fruit with the meat.
The service was impeccable, as expected, in a space fit to relax and indulge.
A splendid lunch
A great lunch in delightful surroundings. The set lunch 3 course lunch was excellent value but our extras made it more expensive. Our table was perfect for six and we all really enjoyed.
Superb anniversary meal
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Seven Park Place. The service throughout is very professional, and the attention to detail with the food was first class.
This was a birthday treat. The food was amazing, would definitely go back again and again. The decor in good taste and very relaxing. This is a must to try and not overly expensive for a set lunch with wines. It beats a few other one star restaurants I've been to of late.
Our sort of Place
Dining at Seven Park Place was an extremely pleasant experience. The set 3 course menu at £29.50 (which included a glass of delicious wine for toptable bookings) comprised just two choices for each course. This meant that my wife and I tasted the entire menu between us! Each course was a delight and the immaculate service enhanced the pleasure. Although hushed tones seem to be the norm we found it all totally enjoyable and calming. A veritable haven of quiet in the heart of London. Try it - you won't be sorry!
A welcome return
This was my second visit to Seven Park Place and a most enjoyable one too. I love the quirky ambience of this place. The food was very tasty and although the set menu is very limited represents great value for money. I was probably slightly disappointed having a Michelin Star sausage as the meat main, as flavoursome as it was. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The one thing I did point out to them was that we initially ordered the flight of wines with our meal unaware until after the first glass was poured the quantity was miniscule. However, we just ordered by the bottle after we realised. I was a while ago that I made my first visit, but don't think it will be such a wait to my third.
A lovely meal at Seven Park
A lovely meal at Seven Park Place for my boyfriend's birthday. The food was excellent and the service was good. The only thing that slightly spoiled it for me was that we were sat right next to the entrance of the restaurant which leads onto the bar so it spoiled the romantic ambience somewhat with all the to-ing and fro-ing of the waiters and the harsher lighting out there. But I imagine if you were sat further round the corner it would be absolutely fine. Just luck of the draw I guess! Other than that I would highly recommend for a special occasion. The waiters even prepared a little surprise plate with 'happy birthday' written in melted chocolate on it and some chocolates for my boyfriend as a surprise. A very nice touch. Would return.
Top class food and place
In a small luxury hotel, the food is also luxurious as one would expect from a Michelin starred chef. The service was really excellent too, a perfect balance between service and friendliness.
Fantastic Food in a small restaurant with only 9 tables, so you get all the attention and attention to detail on the presentation of the food.
Dined with friends and the choice of venue was perfect, a small restaurant that is not cramped providing a pleasant relaxed ambience. The food is of high quality and the set lunch provides for excellent value for money. Comprehensive selection of wines with a good and varied selection sold by the glass. Special mention to all staff for providing excellent service in a very open and friendly manner but most importantly to the highest professional standards. On my list for return visit.
For great food in a different setting, away from the bustle of central London, great venue. Set course lunch good value, with perfect gently-cooked foie gras.
Can find wines that are not too expensive if you look carefully.
Fine Dining in St James's
This was peaceful and relaxed Michelin Star dining. Excellent.
Best degustation I have had this year knocking off my No1 amesta at so i do recommend you take the wine option they were amazing for a change ! Also great pre dinner cocktails, and the service at its best
Excellent food and great service
We had a great food experience with a pre set menu. We recommend the menu because this gives a chance to taste several courses. Very good balanced tastes, we loved the seafood. The service was outstanding with a very personal touch. We would like to come back another time.
Good for special occasion, ambience - restaurant separated into small stylish room areas, comfortable large tables/chairs. Friendly staff, service v.good at first - but when restaurant full, slow to re-fill wine/water glasses, so prefer it at table. Food v. attractive & tasty typical for michelin star restaurant. Prefer vegetable side dishes, as just meat & carbs for main course is odd. Bottled water was only room temp, so we had to ask for ice. Plates and food were warm to luke warm so would prefer hot, as in most top restaurants when it is served! Wine was good, with excellent choice. Very expensive meal £600 for 4 people including very low end/cost wine and water (fairly standard price for top Michelin star restaurants though),
Great place for a celebration
Small restaurant but nicely laid out and we had an alcove for the 7 of us which was perfect. It is the first posh restaurant that we have been to where an amuse bouche was not served but the 7 course degustation menu didn't really need one and all of the courses were excellent especially the scallop, lobster and dessert. Service was discrete but attentive and the Somelier was helpful and entertaining.
dinner with friends
Got off to a rather slow start, but once they got going all went smoothly. Food good, but drinks a little expensive, but not excessive.
Another excellent tasty meal
Another excellent tasty meal with excellent service in the hotels intimate dinning area.
Excellent food, superb service!
We picked this Michelin rated place to see the difference, and we were not disappointed. The pot roast quail is very flavorful, tender, and melt in your mouth. Seal fois gras with pear, the pear is perfect firmness to match fois gras' texture. Usually in other restaurant the fois gras being the star, the pear will be just a supporting role for flavor. But here even the pear gets the attention by the chef! For main course the venison with beetroot, the venison has burst of flavor! And as soon as the plate sits in front of you, you can smell the richness of the food. Great compliment to the sommelier! He did an excellent pairing for this dish! Assiette of pork is beyond description, it really show case the depth of chef's skill!
seven park place
For a very very special occasion, the tasting menu with tasting wines is excellent...but not cheap!
A stylish and intimate venue
Seven Park Place by William Drabbleis was a lovely place to relax over a long lunch and catch up with friends. The staff were charming and attentive but not intrusive. The set lunch menu was limited to 2 choices for each course and we were all very happy with our choices, which were innovative and well presented. Vegetarians were not so well represented. Overall a great dining experience and very good value
Beautiful setting and excellent service. Food was great (but no vegetarian option). Would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.
Outstanding food and service
I took my mum here for lunch and we treated so warmly by the staff - from the greeting by the door man to the moment we left. It's a beautiful restaurant and everyone made us feel so welcome and at ease. The food was delicious and we felt rather full when we left! Each course was explained to us - where the ingredients were from, how it was cooked etc. A very special experience.
A special lunch
A beautiful intimate restaurant. Attentive, friendly staff and excellent food and wine. Great attention to detail and very accommodating. One of my favourite restaurants in London.
