I booked the Boulevard Brasserie as a pre theatre meal for me and my mother. We were about 15 mins late meaning we had to rush our 2 course dinner in 45 mins to make it to the show on time and I explained to the waitresses we were in a rush and they went out of their way to bring our food as soon as they could which was delicious. The service was outstanding, food delicious and the restaurant was lovely, I would definitely go back :)
good value meals
We booked at the Boulevard Brasserie for pre-theatre dinner. We received a friendly welcome and the waiter was aware that we had booked through Toptable. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and we did not feel encroached on by other diners. The food was excellent - asparagus starter and sea bream main - well cooked and well presented. The 50% off offer made the meal exceptional value for money.
Lovely food here and perfect for a pre-theatre meal which is what we were doing. But the staff really made it. We were seated upstairs by the window and our waiter was a delight!
I have frequently dined at the Boulevard Brasserie before going to the Royal Opera House and the food (especially special offers) is very good. The service is always swift and efficient and staff unfailingly pleasant.
lunch with friends
Had a lovely lunch. Couldn't fault food or service.
Took the 50% off food offer on the A la carte menu. Buzzy atmosphere, gets
quite noisey as wooden furniture and floors but after a while you don't notice it.
Will definately book again.:-)
Paris in Covent Garden
I was so pleased I tried this restaurant as it ticks all the boxes. Great location close to Covent Gdn, nice low-key Parisienne decor; really good food and generous portions. On top of that the staff are friendly and very efficient. Couldn't fault it.
A Very Nice Meal
Food at BB is very good - kitchen will vary dishes also to remove or add special requests. Service cannot be faltered. Wine is expensive though and with service charge added before 50% food discount, hikes the bill somewhat. Can also be very noisy due to the low ceilings and air con needs to be on. Would recommend though.
we used 50% offer. starter
we used 50% offer. starter and main. we ordered bottle of wine and some drink but still cheap!(of course 50% off!) and also staff is so friendly and food is all AMAZING! high recommend!
Central location and really good food on the evening set menu. Recommended.
I have been to this restaurant
I have been to this restaurant many times before and I always find it to be a very good overall experience, hence coming back time and time again.
Good value eating in Covent Garden
We had a very enjoyable meal on Saturday evening in this restaurant. There was a very good variety of dishes on the menus plus daily specials. The service was very good and we felt that overall we had good value for money. We shall certainly return.
Nice little place
Pretty standard French menu but it's not a chain so feels quite nice there
Good value and reliable
Often pick Boulevard Brasserie before an opera at Covent Garden as they are alwys prompt with service. 50% off food is an excellent choice when you're tired of the prix fixe pre-theatre (which is also good). A little crowded as they put tables close together, but this is fine when it's a quick meal. Food reliable, a staple of classic brasserie items.
Great evening out
50% off food voucher, warm restaurant (on a cold night), friendly and helpful waiter, good food and wine, great night!
The food is always consistently good and the service this time was exceptional!!! I'm totally a regular now!
Outstanding service, very

Perfect location for our pre-theatr
Perfect location for our pre-theatre meal just 100 yards or so from the Lyceum Theatre. Food and service were very good and excellent value with the 50% off (food only).

Good location close to theatres.
Good location close to theatres. Friendly and polite staff. French ambience.
Thursday night special
A wonderfully enjoyable evening with the team at BB. We had a great meal with great service in a friendly atmosphere.
Excellent in every way!
Absolutely lovely lunch. Extremely professional staff, for which the restaurant should be proud. Delicious food in delightful surroundings! Would recommend without any shadow of a doubt!
This is a delightful French Brasserie in a fantastic location. We got the 3 course special for £22 which was outstanding value - only available via online booking with free Kir Royals included! Great atmosphere and service. Find ourselves returning frequently to this restaurant when in West End.
Catering for visiting family
Came to a French restaurant with a fussy Parisian foodie and she enjoyed it. It was excellent service with staff who genuinely wanted to help, a rare commodity in London.
Booked an 8pm slot for a group of 8 mid forty year olds to round off a nice afternoon relaxing in Covent Garden. Downstairs is small but upstairs is suited to dining and we were well looked after. The food was delicious and even at full price was well worth the money. Would very happily return.
Had a wonderful meal. The
Had a wonderful meal. The root veg stew was wonderful. Beautiful fresh soft moules. Disappointed to be charged full portion extra for a small amount of bread ( and no tapenade or butter) for the moules liquid, and no tarte tatin left...boo! Otherwise, a wonderful evening with great food and service.
Efficient & Friendly Service
Second visit and booked a pre-theatre dinner for 6 @ 5.30pm - asked to make sure we were out by 7pm and they made sure everything was on time and we were paid and out by 7pm without feeling too rushed. We had the 2 course set menu - very good choices esp for the veggies. Quick and friendly service. Food was delicious and very good value. Very busy on Saturday evening so definitely had to book but the service wasn't affected. Would definitely go again :)
A most enjoyable evening - lovely atmosphere with warm candle lit tables. The waiter was very personable and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious - the duck breast with fondant potatoes and vegetables is very, very good.
Will definitively go again.
six friends had a very enjoyable evening last Saturday. We were greeted very well, our table was ready and were seated quickly even though the restaurant was heaving. Our Polish waitress was superb as was our waiter Victor both kept smiling throughout the evening. Food wine and atmosphere faultless. So glad we found the restaurant as we will return.
We had a very enjoyable meal with excellent service from attentive staff.
Great Food good value
we were very pleased with our 2 course meals and the food portions size and food quality was excellent
Good value on offer
Fab French style brasserie I had an early dinner on a 50% off (a la carte, 2 courses required) offer. The menu had a decent choice and prices were ok for central London and thus great on the offer. I had sea bass which was cooked well.
Imaginative menu, good ambience
Imaginative menu, good ambience and friendly service.
Lovely atmosphere, with good music playing, very pleasant service and good food. We will return
Two friends and I had a pre-theatre dinner here, the food was great and our waiter was very charming, I would definitely go back
Fabulous food in magical atmosphere
Really great value, superb dining experience. Attentive waiting staff, excellent food choices and wine recommendations (without the hefty price tag!)
Would definitely recommend!
Perfectly relaxed and intimate!
We sat and chatted at the table for hours at the very busy Thursday evening service - the waiting staff did not rush us and gave absolutely excellent service. I couldn't fault any of the staff members at all!
The food was delicious and the set menu varied and had some interesting options too! Will definitely return, what a great restaurant in a great location!
Good food & service, great price
A short wait (on a Friday night) had us seated at a nice table. All the food and drink we ordered was good and served quickly by our attentive (but not overly so) waitress. We had a great meal and time and I will go again.
A good experience
Good food, good selection on the set menu and good service. Been here a number of times and always good.
Great girly lunch
I booked this restaurant for lunch with two girlfriends. We had a lovely lunch which was not rushed by the staff and was very reasonable with the top table offer. If you want extra drinks it can be very expensive (£20 for a bottle of Merlot). The duck and beef were exceptional. Would recommend with the offer and we will be back again when in Covent garden.
A Gem in Covent Garden
We come up to London on a theatre trip a couple of times each year and usually visit the Boulevard Brasserie for lunch or dinner. It's a straightforward bistro with a good menu, great friendly service and pleasant ambience. The restaurant is reasonably priced for the area and the quality of the food has always been good. We've been coming here for the past four years and have never been disappointed. Using Toptable to book is recommended since the restaurant seems to fill up quickly (always a good sign).
Very relaxed atmosphere -
Very relaxed atmosphere - and one of the most entertaining waiters we've had for years! We were a party of 6 and we all agreed that the food was excellent for the price - we will certainly be returning here.
Good value Sunday night meal
We went on the 50 per cent food discount and this was really good value. It was quite busy for a Sunday night
with good atmosphere. I had a nice goats cheese starter and my husband had a smoked salmon terrine.
I then had bouef bourbignon which came in an earthenware dish and a large side order of mash-this was good and
filling on a cold night. My husband had the belly of pork which he enjoyed. We then shared an apple and rhubarb
crumble- one was enough as it was massive. A really nice bottle of rose was only £17.95 and a free carafe of water.
Overall, we enjoyed it and would go again.
Good food and value for money
Everything about this restaurant ticks all the boxes. It is not going to compete with The Wolsley or The Ritz in terms of the "wow" factor but what it does offer is an authentic under-stated Parisian ambience; an attractive menu choice; first rate service and good food. And all that comes at sensible prices. The location is also ideal for shopping or the Theatre.
First visit to Boulevard Brasserie
First visit to Boulevard Brasserie and it won't be the last. Authentic French feel to the place matched with good food and service. It was very busy at lunch time (good sign) but the staff coped well.
I enjoyed a lovely meal and was dining alone. Staff looked after me very well, food was delicious, they immediately pointed out I had booked through top table and had chosen the 50% off food offer and explained what it included. I didn't feel at all rushed and staff attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely return.
Pre Theatre Meal
Went here for a pre-theatre meal and used a Tastecard. Despite it being full, the service was prompt and polite. The food was tasty and (with the tastecard) good value.
Good atmosphere and brasserie food,
We were a party of 6 downstairs on Friday evening. The place was crowded but service was efficient. Food arrived in a timely manner and drinks etc were prompt. The menu is standard brasserie with food better cooked and presented than a cafe rouge. Only downside for me was that downstairs was too warm.
A real surprise
Having booked this restaurant in a bit a rush and needing somewhere in the general location we were very pleasantly surprised. The menu was interesting, the prices reasonable and the service good. The food was better than we had a right to expect for the price. We will certainly and would not hesitate to recommend it to our friends.
Had a lovely anniversary meal
Had a lovely anniversary meal here, food was really yummy and the staff very accomadating and adjusted the spice in the pasta for me with no problem! The creme brûlée we had for dessert was to die for! Really good! Would definatly recommend and would love to visit again!
