Fantastisk atmosfære og knall
Fantastisk atmosfære og knall god mat! Anbefales på det sterkeste.
We had a fab day, got the tube in no problem at all from heathrow and enjoyed a brilliant starter and Sunday lunch, well worth the money and the service was excellent!
An outstanding dining experience
We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The decor is elegant and beautiful, like being in New York circa 1930. The waiting/bar staff were attentive and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We enjoyed making our own cocktails! The food was AMAZING! My friend said his veal was the best he'd every eaten, succulent and juicy and the flavour just burst in the mouth - he made us all try it and we all agreed! I'd highly recommend this place and will go back again and again. One of my favourite restaurants in London now!
Great location and decor, fun
Lovely decor and atmosphere. Delicious menu with good range
Portion size good
Bread Street Kitchen
I like this venue.
The plate of food was on the small side to be honest but the quality was good.
Not enough butter provided for 2 people though.
Spectacular food and service
We had a great meal with great service. Loved the Mac and cheese. And the panna cotta was divine!!!
The perfect restaurant for
The perfect restaurant for a business lunch with clients; good ambience, stylish and not bad value for money
Outstanding service and food.
Promt and very friendly service. The staff couldn't do enough for you, it actually felt like they genuinally cared that you had a great time. Food was outstanding, perfectly cooked and presented and a good choice of drinks. They even made our friend a happy birthday pudding free of charge.
Will defiantly come agin and recommend.
We booked this restaurant to entertain German friends visiting London. We were all very impressed with the modern decor, especially the side lamp made out of waterpipe fittings. Service was very good and all the staff attentive and friendly. The onion and cider soup was 'amazing' and all the main dishes were good too. When visiting London again we would definitely re visit to try the rest of the menu
A last minute booking at Bread St Kitchen was well worth it - food was excellent, service very very good and Gordon Ramsey was eating at the table next to us.
yummy Sunday lunch
great flavours - we all had roast beef! highly recommended for groups, also child friendly. Though child's pasta was very salty for kids, though tasty.
Fabulous Sunday Lunch
Wonderful food coupled with efficient, friendly service in a large, well decorated, comfortable area that has a lovely ambience. My wife and I both agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we have ever eaten. Thoroughly recommended.
On a recent trip to London, a friend and I made reservations to eat here. We wanted to try out one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants and we were not disappointed. The food was phenomenal and the ambiance was great. Our waitress was patient and kind. Overall, I loved this place.
Excellent food, attentive
Excellent food, attentive and friendly service and a lively dining atmosphere
From the minute we stepped into bread street, we could tell we were in for a great night. The atmosphere was electric and the service from all staff was second to none. There was a good variety of food on the menu and this was served promptly and looked amazing. It tasted great too. 3 courses each ( you must try the surf and turf) a carafe of wine, 4 beers and the cost was just under £140. It was a special occasion and I'm so glad we chose bread street.
It wasn't too busy which was nice.
The table was a little too dark and for some reason we weren't given a night light like others.
The service was attentive but unobtrusive which makes a nice change these days.
Food was very good though fish portion was rather small.
Our waiter Tim was very helpful
Our waiter Tim was very helpful & attentive. I had the duck breast which I cannot recommend highly enough.
Good casual modern restaurant
Had a great 3 course meal at Bread kitchen. Good atmosphere, good food. Drinks were a little pricey, but didn't take away the enjoyment of the night.
Good food, great celebration
Booked a meal for the family to celebrate a birthday and a 30th wedding anniversary. Had a great time; food was good and we were well looked after. Not a place for a quiet intimate evening, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We'll look for the next excuse to come again!
Great decor, food exceptional, staff attentive and everything had the WOW factor. Well done Gordon and staff
Not The Cheapest Place
Ok if it's got Gordon Ramsey's name on it it will not be cheap
but, overall good food & service different menu + great cocktails
Food was excellent, service
Food was excellent, service extremely attentive, great venue and ambience, perhaps a little noisy for business meetings. Definitely worth a visit.
Dinner for 14
Arrived and were immediately ushered to our table (for 14). Food/wine orders taken swiftly. All starters and main courses served within a reasonable time. Food was absolutely delicous. Pretty pricey so would recommend this for a special occasion. Great atmosphere and staff very attentive. Everyone loved the whole experience.
Lively restaurant with excellefood!
We had a very nice dinner here with our three teenage kids. Very lively, without being loud, excellent service and a good variety of fantastic food that we all enjoyed. (We all had different courses)
Stayed open late for us!
My plane landed at Gatwick at 9:45pm on a Friday night and I needed a place for dinner that would be open to the idea of seating us at 11pm (or after) -- and this place came through! We sat down at around 11:15pm, and had main courses and dessert, even though the kitchen had officially closed. I was worried that we were overstaying our welcome, but the staff was very gracious and friendly, and not once did we feel like we were being pressured to leave. These people are real professionals, and made us feel very welcome.
GOOD RESTAURANT BUT......
A very nice meal with good service and food is generally good value BUT £2 per head Cover Charge (!!!) + 12.5% added service charge meant total bill increased by over £50 - suddenly not such good value which put a dampener on an otherwise very enjoyable lunch.
Absolutely an outstanding dinning experience. Perfect setting, outstanding food and great service!
Went for a business dinner and had a great experience. Food was exceptional, light and flavoursome and a good broad menu to cater to all tastes. Service could be improved as it took several asks to get a wine glass for the fourth person at our table and service was less than fully attentive. However, food and ambience compensated such that I would definitely return.
and great value. had a lovely meal. 2nd time back and will be returning.
I recommended breadstreet to a colleague visiting from HK as I have visited a few times in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This visit was no different, great food, great service, great experience. We had the pork belly with sides of mac/cheese, honey spiced carrots & chips. Couldn't fault a thing. thanks.
Great night out
It was just a party of two, to catch up on a weekday. It was bustling on a Thursday night, with many enjoying drinks downstairs. We went straight up for our meal. The menu is very interesting with a lot of choice. We had the flatbread for starters and that was very good, which made us look forward to the mains. I had the sausages and lentils for my mains, again very good and cooked to a very high standard - perfect for the cold evening. We also ordered the Spatzel, which we never have tried before and that was also cooked very well. Overall, enjoyed a great night out, definitely would recommend.
For a Treat
I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion as fairly pricey, the surroundings have a plush but modern feel, the staff were very attentive without being intrusive, my main course was the Seabream cooked to perfection and my husbands duck was melt in the mouth! When booking my husband was asked whether any comments, he mentioned it was my birthday when my desert arrived it had a candle & chocolate message 'happy birthday' and the dreaded singing around the table but luckily there were only two waiters which was a bit more subtle. The wine list was good and not too expensive, well worth the visit hope I get the chance to go again
Great for breakfast
I have eaten here a lot of times now and always enjoy the lively, pre-work atmosphere here. The menu has plenty of choice and I have always been impressed with the food.
Friday early supper
We had an hour and the service as well as the food was exempary
This was my 4th time here and its still great. We came for a special Birthday and everyone enjoyed it to the point where people were saying how happy they felt. They also sang happy birthday. :)
Thanks for a fantastic meal!
We had an absolutely fantastic meal last Saturday night! I eat out quite a bit and can honestly say this was the best meal I have had in ages. I had the duck salad for starter which was easily the best I've ever tasted - thanks very much to all the chefs and waiters that looked after us so well. I've visited quite a few Gordon Ramsay restaurants and love them - but this is my new favourite - great atmosphere, great venue - I'll definitely be back! Thanks again, Ayshea Donaldson
comfortable and modern
menu interesting, differs from many
problem whis cofe, it was not tasty
Excellent place to have breakfast. I had superb scrambled eggs with smoked salmon which was absolutely amazing. Only downside was the tiny amount of butter put on the table which they thought would cover three people eating toast. The full english also looked very good and overall, very decent value for money. Really nice decor as well for a business type breakfast.
Best Veal Chop in The City
Took some clients for dinner. 2 of us had Veal Chop, 2 Pork Belly and both were outstanding. This is a big restauant, but the staff are very good and the spacing of the tables is just enough to be able to have a conversation over lunch or dinner.
Ramsey is onto a winner here.....
Great range and imaginative menu
A pleasure to come here as I could order the majority of the choices - it is all very well thought through and a great blend of meat, fish, traditional with twists and something different. This is a huge place though with an open kitchen so noise, bustle and smelly clothes if you are near the kitchen are unavoidable. Fine for buzzy if that's what you are after, but not if you want intimacy and peace. This is particularly so for two-person bookings as you are always generally sat in the bustling runway. Ask for a table near the window if you want to hear what each other are saying.
What more could you ask for?
To celebrate a personal occasion it is the perfect restaurant. Amazing food and great location.
Good for groups
As a group of 6 all had really good food in a great restaurant setting not too portentous with variety from burgers to sea bream. Really enjoyable.
Great location with great food
I really enjoyed my stay at bread street kitchen. The location is very nice, with a very urband and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent in my opinion, and the price right for a city like London. Definitely worth going there!
I really like this restaurant for a breakfast treat. The food is lovely, the service is quick and the coffee is excellent. I can recommend the scrambled egg and smoked salmon, which is excellent. This is a great place for breakfast to meet those friends who are always unavailable in the evenings and also for a treat every now and again.
Gordon Ramsay affordable for all!
An out of town guest was visiting and I took her to Madisons for the great views of St. Pauls. We chose this restaurant for it's location at St. Pauls, price of menu items, and the fact it was a Gordon Ramsey joint. We were not disappointed! Good food. Loved the sommelier who brought us the wine and answered my questions. Servers were friendly and provided suggestions to questions on menu items. Definitely a place I want to go back to - for a date, for business, for anything! And to try the Harlem Hard Shake!
great food, fun and buzzy.
This is an exhilarating place. Quite loud, very buzzy, informal in a wonderful, huge, high ceiling semi-industrial space with quirky, eclectic . This is my third visit, and each time the food has been superb, as is the service. Much less formal than Ramsay's "fine dining" establishments which, for my money, adds to the experience.
A Saturday Lunch
Booked Bread Street Kitchen as a pre Christmas treat for the wife and myself, arrived in Bread Street and went straight in. The Lady behind the bar downstairs pointed us in the direction of the stairs and up we went.
The open feeling of the restaurant was fantastic, the décor was what I would call industrial Chic, very open and well laid out. We were shown to our table, but after about 10 minutes asked to be moved as my wife was constantly being bumped in to by other diners moving behind her
The food was fantastic, the starters - Potted Brisket for me and the meat selection for my wife were wonderful. My wife chose the Pheasant breast and I had the dingly dell pork belly, both meals were fantastic.
I would recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food, modern decor
Amazing food, modern decor and a lovely setting. A perfect group dinner for a special occasion.
Excellent restaurant. Children's portion a bit small for Sunday lunch otherwise superb.
Excellent meal as always at
Excellent meal as always at BSK. All had the sunday lunch option and were extremely satisfied - portions were huge and so the price was a good value. Good service and a lovely ambiance with the live singer. All in all, a great Sunday eating place.
