A lovely, cosy hotel and delicately
A lovely, cosy hotel and delicately presented cakes and scones. Great Taste at The Cadogan is a perfect venue for us, that include a guest from overseas. Very English.
Took my visiting parents and
Took my visiting parents and boyfriend for Afternoon Tea at the Cadogan and it was perfect. The ambience was very relaxing and everything tasted wonderful. I absolutely recommend a visit if you want a genuine Afternoon Tea experience.
Good value for money
We went for dinner on a Friday night. Unfortunately the place was half empty, so although the ambience is really luxurious it feels a bit deserted. Food was really good quality, although small portions. Service was attentive and value for money is really good with a 2 or 3 course deal.
We went to dinner on a Friday
We went to dinner on a Friday night. The place is very elegant, but was unfortunately almost empty with only 3 other tables occupied. Food comes in small portions, but is very high quality and great taste. Service could have been a bit more attending given the low place wasn't crowded. Given the ambience, I would rather recommend for a quiet evening or with the parents.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Great Taste at The Cadogan, the only downside was the necessity to rush off to a performance at the nearby Cagoan Hall, we would have loved to have stayed in the superbly decorated dining room to enjoy a third course! The food was of very high quality and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and professional - we will return.
Taste at the Cadogan
We had a very nice meal on 20.12.12 - food and wine were excellent. Only problem was the coffee after the meal took a bit longer than expected and biscuits were a disappointment. Otherwise a very nice experience and I will be looking to go back and have the 'a la carte' menu. Philip
Great Taste menu was excellent - very rich and well cooked food. Room very empty which meant that the atmosphere was quiet. Would return
This is a very good quite
This is a very good quite place to have a nice dinner. The menu is very interestingly created (set menu with course options) and encourages you to try different tastes and flavours. The ambience is quiet as we were there on a weekday and had 4 other tables, but that being said, it was a nice dining treat and we felt well taken care of.
a great meal
The restaurant does not have a huge menu but what they do have is quite nicely done and you will have an enjoyable meal there. The service is attentative with one manager who seems to know all of his regulars. The food is excellent and well composed, although some say the portions are not huge which is the case. We had our coffee at the lounge which was a nice touch to the end of the meal! A nice quite place to dine - its not a busy place and I welcome the individual attention and service. Don't go there if you want to be seen or want a bustling place. This is low key and relaxing!
