Lunch at Rocket
We had a quick girly catch up lunch at Rocket this week, and it was lovely. The restaurant has a nice vibe and people are friendly - and best of all there is a terrace! :) The food was good, we had a pizza which was huge and trout starter. The service was good although a little forgetful and it wasnt too busy. Overall a nice place for a lunch in the wharf.
lovely food and service with

Food great size portions and service was very quick
Great food at a resonable price. great service too.
The menu range is very good, with excellent choices for vegetarians and especially for people with big appetites! The calzone pizza is awesome!
excellent service as always
excellent service as always from this restaurant, staff eager to please and the food is never disappointing.
My friend and I tend to stick to salads when we meet up at Rocket approx. once every couple of months. However, as it was a cold day, we decided to go for something hot. The pizzas were delicious - good quantity of toppings and excellent combination of flavours (goats' cheese, butternut squash, spinach and chorizo).
Rocket Canary Wharf is fantastic. The food is delicious and the staff know what they are doing.
The venue is great with a very funky bar and a great atmosphere but its the unique food I love.
It's not as cheap as some of the restaurants near by but equally doesn't break the bank. We had lamb cakes to start which were great followed by the amazing and infamous rocket salads: surf and turf salad and rare beef and chip salad. A guilt free way of eating my favourite foods - it's a salad after all!!
The cheese selection for dessert was a winner... But perhaps a little small to share.
I might have to just go back and check though!
Early Evening Outing
Myself and 4 colleagues wanted a nice, relaxing place to go with good food and service. It was a last minute booking for an after work meal. Menu nice and food good. Service very good, not too intrusive but there when we needed it. The only downside was a group of half a dozen young girls singing and clapping loudly in the corner of the restaurant which was a bit off-putting. Apart from that a very good evening, good food, wine and overall restaurant ambience.
Little gem i never knew about
After a cancelled group night out, my partner and I decided to book somewhere at last minute to go straight from work.
We wouldn't have been more pleased with the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service exemplary and the view from the window, even on a dark and freezing cold December evening, was great!
The only negative points were the very busy bar downstairs (to be expected at 6pm on a Friday in CW) and my main course which was a little bland but these are VERY critical points on an otherwise spectacular evening. We'll definitely go back and soon!
My team and I had our Christmas
My team and I had our Christmas lunch at Rocket and had a really great time. There were several work Christmas lunches taking place, however it was very refreshing that it was not noisy and that you could enjoy your own team's lunch without feeling you were part of someone else's! The food was very good with a good choice on the Christmas menu. Our booking was dealt with perfectly, even when we had to reduce the number of the party from the original booking, and the staff were helpful and professional. At lunch there was no confusion over who had ordered what as the staff were prepared and knew everyone's name & order. It all helped everything to run smoothly and we had a really enjoyable time!
Lovely food although they
Lovely food although they did make us wait for it, likley due to the high number of Christmas meals. Worth revisiting when a bit quieter.

Friendly staff and good food
Friendly staff and good food and menu very varied. It was also very reasonable price wise
Rocket - Canary Wharf London
Visited Rocket - Canary Wharf London early on Friday evening for my daughter's birthday. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening and particularly enjoyed the ambience and the cocktails. A fun evening.
Shame it was so quiet
We had a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch whilst visitng and wandering at Docklands. We expected it to be quiet but we were the only patrons at Rocket which was a shame, because the decor was good, staff friendly and not in your face and the food was delicious. We liked the menu and it had plenty of healthy dishes for the New Year. We both had salads for the main course and they were delicius! Full of different ingredients and flavours. Yummy desserts too!
Nice but a bit quiet
We had a more than satisfactory dinner at rocket. The bar downstairs was a little shabby but the restaurant upstairs was really nice - I liked the ceiling and big windows. You can see the kitchen as well which I always like. The toilets were a bit rough though. Service was really good, food was nice, the ambience was drab - possibly due to it not being busy
The business for business
Took a new client to lunch.
Waiter was attentive and services fairly swift and unobtrusive although being called ‘girls’ by said waiter was not appreciated. Judging by the lone rocket leaf on a nearly clean plate, client thoroughly enjoyed her pear and goats cheese salad. I enjoyed a ridiculously huge calzone that raised an eyebrow, not to mention a laugh. Flavors in both not-too-complicated dishes were more than adequate. Business and meal concluded successfully.
Easy going and relaxing
Nice atmosphere but recognition from staff that I may have limited time for lunch, so service is prompt and always courteous.
Pizza was a knock-out
Delicious pizza with chorizo, spinach and butternet squash. I normally have salads but I'm going to have to branch out when I visit next.
Good food good service, great
Good food good service, great location - can't really complain!
I've been to Rocket in Canary
I've been to Rocket in Canary Wharf on many occassions now, both for lunch and envining dinner. The food is always excellent, the staff always friendly and efficient and value is good. I just love those fish cakes!
Great Place & Pleasant atmosphere
This was my first visit to Rocket and I was well impressed. The staff are so very friendly, attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them and the food was excellent. Give it a try , you will not be diasppointed.
Good business lunch..
Very helpful with adjusting my booking and excellent service.
I really like going to Rocket for a quick in and out work lunch. The servings are generous, the staff are attentive and the experience in consistent.
Great location, good food
Great location, good food and great outdoor space. Perfect for quick business or slower meal over a bottle of wine.
First time i've visited Rocket, and what a pleasant surprise. Service was excellant, food was great. Had a good night and will be re-visiting again.
First time there and enjoyed
First time there and enjoyed the experience. Would return when in the area.
Enjoyable impromptu dinner
Had no idea what the place was going to be like.
Turned out to be very nice.
Scallops and prawn starter was good.
Steak was great
Service was polite and not overbearing.
All in all a nice meal
Very enjoyable evening
I attended Rocket Canary Wharf on Friday night with my mum and cousin. The bar was extremely busy and loud so luckily we were able to sit down early and enjoy a glass of prosecco before our meal. There is so much choice on the menu, especially for my mum who is vegetarian & we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, service was great too.
What a Great Find
I literally booked the day before I needed a table so didn't really have a run up.
But what a find. Great food and great food in any easy to find location.
Definitely bookmarked for next time.
Good food good service, great

Great for client meals!
The staff were efficient and
The staff were efficient and showed us quickly to our table outside and upstairs on the terrace. The restaurant is at the far end of Canary Wharf and despite the road outside quiet and private (from the street at least). The location is however fairly surrounded by office blocks so don't expect a view. We both ordered pizzas which were generously sized but quite thin so able to finish them. I had the black pudding and prawns which was interesting although I'm not sure it quite worked. The bill was reasonable and lunch served quickly. Would go again.
Nice quiet night
Went here on a Saturday night, and must say very quiet compared to a Thursday/ Friday night. But that's makes a change not having to shout to be heard when talking.
Great food and a brilliant waiter.
Pin on the screen
I chose Rocket in a random fashion. I needed a place near Canary Wharf without using a 'chain'. The menu covered all options and as I did not know my guest it seemed appropriate.
I received lots of reminders - email and tel call to make sure I was coming.
I was given a warm welcome and I explained my guest (a grown up God-daughter just about to get married.) who would not know me or vice versa. They assured me they would advise her where I was siting.
Food and wine (Rose) fine. Service just right. Staff genuinely interested in how my lunch went.
That's it !!!
Yes, I would come again.
Lovely Salads at Rocket, which is not something I'd normally write about a restaurant but they're a meal inthemselves and very enjoyable.
Definitely recommend for lunch. Friendly staff
Rockets is one of our favourite restaurants in Canary Wharf, the food is always outstanding and I like the fact that you cater well for your vegeratian patrons.
Good food, good environment. Visit!
Great second visit for a special occasion. The food was very good in terms of timing and taste. Service was good also, staff attended to us well and were patient in dealing with a group booking. The restaurant has an easy going feel to it with the right lighting and level of background music. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a visit.
£60 for four people, with wine and service is amazing value in the Wharf!
Friday's in the Rockets ..Rock
Downstairs in the bar it was full and the Rocket turned out to be the most popular place for the Friday afternoon drinks. In the restaurant it was quiet at 7PM. The special of the day "Hamburger" was almost sold out, only 2 of us could order. The salads and desserts were excellent and the interior superb. For us Rowers from Holland a great place to start our London Great River Experience. We liked The Docklands very much, none of us had been there before and the Rocket lies in the heart!
after drinks dinner
I love it when we can book spontaneously, for 8 people and on a Thursday night! The food is not fantastic but you can always go for a pizza or fishcakes. I had fish this time and must admit it was a bit dry. Our waiter was a bit grumpy on the night but the ambience was very good and we had a good time.
Once you fight your way through the office workers crammed into the ground floor bar area, the upstairs dining area is very smart – but still informal, with great use of colour, mirrors and artowrk. We had a window seat with a great view over the Thames to The Millennium Dome. Wasn't too busy for a Thursday night. Menu is quite varied with a definite Asian twist. My squid starter was a little on the small side but that was a good thing as the pizza's are very generous. Attentive staff kept the olives coming and the wine flowing too. Not my first visit to Rocket Canary Wharf, and certainly won't be my last!
Superb food, particularly
At Rocket I had the best burger I have ever eaten.
It's worth appreciating the significance of that. I have had a lot of burgers in my life. About three decades' worth. Many were very good. Rarely I found an excellent one. But Rocket's was the best.
The dessert - a chocolate brownie - was also supremely supreme.
Sadly I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone, because if people start to realise how good it is, it will be forever fully booked and I will never be able to get a table there again.
Nice staff, tasty food, good prices. What more can you ask for.
One of my favourites
Rocket is one of my favourite restaurants in the Wharf. Very tasty food, lovely staff and reasonably priced.
Great night out.
Arrived well into the evening for dinner but accomodated brilliantly. Wonderful food, great service and very helpful staff. A must.
Had a lovely time at Rocket, loved the decor - modern, yet cosy, and the service was great. The bar was very busy on a Thursday night but the restaurant was pleasant, even with a private function at one end.
The food was very good, I recommend the Rare beef and chip salad! Desserts are few and simple choices but the starters and mains on the menu are innovative with plenty of choice.
A very tasty bottle of prosecco and two courses later, 40 quid is not a bad price at all! (including service charge).
Highly recommend. Canary Wharf has some lovely places to dine.
Rocket Canary Wharf
Had a very enjoyable lunch with a couple of colleagues. The menu is varied and always has several things to tempt me. I've rated the food as 3 as one of my dining companions found his food on the bland side, however, mine was fine. The staff are very friendly, it's a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere and a great choice for a nice lunch.
great food in a nice ambiance
This place stands out from the typical pizza / pasta restaurant with an original menu and quality food.
I would definitely recommend this place for a change in Canary Wharf. Looking forward to my next visit to Rocket!
