Honestly everything about this restaurant is beautiful! The food, interior and the service.
VERY nice place to go and
VERY nice place to go and have a meal with anyone. Service was good. The food was nice, but it was cold.
I have been to Kenza many times. It is our favourite restaurant when some friends come to visit us, as food is just amazing, the restaurant is very elegant and warm, it is good value for money and is just opposite Liverpool Street Station. My favourite Moroccan-Lebanese restaurant in the world!
kenza evening meal
Took a client out for dinner at Kenza recently and the venue was excellent. Great service, fantastic entertainment and the food from the set menu was epic. Ata good crowd pleaser for entertaining clients and leave them impressed.
A Feast Indeed.
Went for the feast menu. Starve for a week first. Delicious and plentiful. They do doggie bags - hang on to that thought. Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot were both superb. Great staff - really friendly and helpful.
Very poor service otherwise great food and atmosphere
What a gem of a restaurant this is. In the City of London (not in the main string of popular locations in London) tucked away below street level. The interior is mediterranean fabulous, the food so plentiful & tasty, the waitress & belly
dancers are lovely. Ideal for a special occasion. Only discovered by word of mouth!
Lovely night out!!
My husband and I came here for our anniversary which conincided with Ramadan. We informed the restaurant of this and they catered to it. They were efficient with the food, the staff were really pleasant and the ambience was amazing. My husband and I loved it! Only issue was the hefty bill , but I guess you pay for a good night out! Shame can only afford it on special occasions!! Highly recommended !!
A little heavy on the pricing side, compared with similar restaurants I've visited, but the food quality was good and the decor / entertainment makes this a nice unique venue for an intimate meal.
Lunch menu is more appealing
Lunch menu is more appealing and value for money than dinner menu
Great fun and too much food!
Kenza was an excellent night out, it was a little quiet on the Wednesday night that we went but the food was brilliant and it was rather fun having the belly-dancers floating around the place. My date and I had one of the set menus and got enough food to feed twice as many people. I'd recommend Kenza for a quiet romantic dinner (when the belly dancers aren't gyrating).
one word: incredible
The food was amazing. We have been here before for lunch, but for dinner it was really something special. The ambience, the music, the food, the attention. Overall, it was amazing.
Anoteh excellent lunch at Kenza, quality food is a stunning environment mixed with warm and welcoming service
Romantic to next level up
If you want to take your partner out, this is the best place. Food was beautiful, the ambience of the place absolutely outstanding. At first one would think its expensive but once your in there and you taste the food and see the beautiful surrounding, you will begin to think its enough every penny.
My boyfriend's 30th birthday. I had been to Kenza a couple of years ago, and knew he would enjoy the atmosphere, decor, music ... he did! We opted for the feast menu (option 3 at £35.50 a head). Loads of delicious food, especially the starters; we had to ask to take our pudding home as we were so full! Service was very good, one girl was very attentive, another didn't remember we had asked for extra bread, but that is a very small niggle. I would recommend for romantic couples, dinner out with the girls (nice cocktails), or a fun birthday meal - the belly dancers like it if you join in!
Lovely decor and atmosphere. A number of set menus are available to choose from or go for a la carte menu if not too hungry. Everything we had on our table was very tasty and served in good time, most importantly we were not rushed! Very friendly staff. And belly dancers perfoformedtwice during the evening for a bit of entertainment. Would definitely go back, very impressed!
It travels you to Arabia
It was my second time in Kenza restaurant, for a similar occasion; romantic dinner with a girlfriend. The decoration of the restaurant is unique and impressive. It has an original Arabic atmosphere which makes you feel that you are not in London but in Morocco. It is not cheap, prices are a little bit expensive, but you don't go there just to eat. You mainly go to live the experience.
I booked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with a group of people. We reserved an area in the cocktail lounge to start our evening - and although we had a great time we didn't need to reserve as it was empty - which was a shame. However, when we went through to the restaurant it was really busy with a great atmosphere. The food was great too - delicious with good sized portions. And then of course the belly dancers came out - which was fun. Would recommend and would definitely go back.
A feast for the senses
The Feast Menu truly is a feast, at Kenza. The mezze starter is plentiful and all the food is full of flavour. You will not leave without a full belly. Beautiful, romantic decor, great ambience and attentive service. The bellydancers were fantastic and made the evening more fun. It is quite an expensive night out if alcohol is included but it is definitely value for money. I would recommend this restaurant for any social gathering. The bar area looked inviting too...will be back fro drinks as the cocktails are delicious.
Great food service entertainment, decor is amazing and creates fantastic atmosphere. Great night out.
Thankyou so much
I went to Kenzea for my girlfriends birthday and she was overwealmed. Very romantic setting and amazing food. Service was outstanding. We will come again. Thankyou so much :)
The Exotic East End
The courtyard is hidden away, but after directions found it, and at first glance it makes you go wow.
We descended down the steps and then you are hit by the wonderful decor, you feel you are far away in a Moroccan or Lebanese eatery.
The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent and on top of this being entertained by 4 belly dancers it made the evening
Very good restaurant, outstanding quality of food, nice entertainment with music and belly dancers
Went for a quick business
Went for a quick business lunch, and was pleased with the food, service and relaxed atmosphere. Calm after the hustle and bustle of the city.
Delicious dishes & cosy atmosphere
Four friends enjoyed the mixture of maze feasts - vegetarian, chicken and lamb. Good quantity of food, and great variety especially the starters. Excellent service with information about the foods and how it all works at the Kenza.
Lovely cosy private dining areas.
Thanks for good food and overall experience.
6 of us went to a birthday dinner on a Friday evening at Kenza and it was outstanding in every way, fantastic food, the service was excellent, entertainment brilliant, and I would not hesitate to visit again or recommend to a friend, especially for a special occasion - this restaurant definitely deserves 10/10.
We celebrated our anniversary here - was a great restaurant with great food.
Can't Fault the Food
Every dish I had was delicious - special praise for the shish taouk! My one concern is that the chairs are a little low but that's quickly forgotten with the ambience and music
Lush Lebanese at Kenza
What a super experience! I'd never had Lebanese food before Kenza but oh how I'm converted. £29.75 for a feast firt for a king. Charming service and a relaxed Eastern vibe made for an excellent experience. I will return
A very happy Birthday was had
Wanted something special for my birthday and got recommended this restaurant by a colleague. It was everything I had hoped for e.g. GREATfood, cosy and wonderful ambience, great music and the service was on point. I felt well taken care of and was made to feel at ease (courses were not rushed and we werent being pestered to order more drinks), though I had to be rolled out of the restaurant because I had eaten too much! A happy birthday was had - thank you Kenza!
Belly dancers are always excellent. Lebanese wine was good and the slow cooked lamb is amazing
a slice of Beiruit
Kenza is an experience, not just a restaurant. The music, setting, belly dancing, etc. make it more than just consuming food. So authentic our waitress barely undetsttod English (but service was good overall). Recommended for groups, celebrations, and lively dates. Not a family place or for kids really.
Food was really good, atmosphere
Food was really good, atmosphere beautiful. A nice place to go for dinner after a hard day's work.
I had a wonderful time at kenza. The interior design was beautiful and the food was lovely. The waiting staff were very efficient. They also brought out belly dancers which was a bonus but the music was a bit too loud.
Very welcoming, fantastic
Very welcoming, fantastic atmosphere, really helpful staff and above all else superb food. We're definitely coming back.
Excellent night at Kenza
After having booked a table for 11 and preordering 11 feast menus, on the night one member of our party did a no show and 2 more were stuck in terrible traffic and were an hour and a half late! None of this was any trouble for the staff who didn't hassle or nag - much appreciated by a stressed party organised! Food was delicious - flavoursome and the meat was very succulent. It was a little expensive but that's the only gripe. All in, we were looked after well and had a great evening.
Superb food and lots of it.
Superb food and lots of it. I couldn't eat it all but didn't want to stop!
Kenza is charming... for a price!
Fantastic ambience, great food... however, the price is a bit high for this type of culinary experience.
Lots of fun and fantastic
Lots of fun and fantastic belly dancers, although I think they should come round every hour rather than every 2 hours
lean on thatshoulder...
The shoulder of lamb was deliecious even after all the apetizers. The belly dancers were a hit too. Great flavors, great food, great atmosphere. It was just a bit loud at time and it was hard to carry on a conversation.
fun with friends
Enjoyable meal and tasty food. Nice atmosphere although at the higher end of reasonably priced.
Birthday bash at Kenza in the city
The whole setting and ambiance of the restaurant made the meal a fantastic experience and loved the belly dancing
Belly Dance at Kenza
Kenza is a fabulous restautant. The surroundings are beautiful, service excellent, food is extremely tasty and they have belly dancers who are amazing. Price overall isn't cheap but with such good food and the entertainment you can't complain. Go check it out
An amazing dining experience.
I would recommend this place to anyone, even if middle-eastern food isn't their first choice. Everything from the decor to the food is excellent. It's probably the best food of this kind that i've ever had. Everything from the dips to the meats were yummy, with enough flavour and spice but never overbearing. Portions are also generous - believe me you will not go hungry! It's a bit on the pricey side but for a special occasion I wouldn't think twice. If you're a bit sensitive to noise then the belly dancing routine might grate with you a bit, but it doesn't last long and personally I think it's a part of the whole experience.
Perfect for a business lunch
We brought some customers to this restaurant, food was superb, the service in line with the food, and the place amazing.
Even our customers being from Middle East, they really appreciated the food as wonderful.
Also it has some tables a bit more quite and calm, so you can talk without being bother by people surrounding you.
I will highly recommend the place to a friend or business partner.
Expensive but worth it
My second time to Kenza and the food is again amazing. Whilst the price is quite expensive, the food, service and of course the belly dancers were well worth the money. However there is one dissapointment - because it was only 2 of us, we werent allowed to book one of the booths (theres only 4) and we had to sit in the 'normal seats' in which the table kept on wobbling and also the tables are too near to each other which I felt really uncomfortable sitting so close to the next table.
Overall extremely good although food and service. The portions and the table sizes are a bit of a squeeze but that makes it feel all the more a banquet. A fun evenng out if the boss is paying.
Absolute amazing. Have been
Absolute amazing. Have been here several times before and been again with my friend for dinner.. Food is super and Ambiance is amazing. Its just feels you are in a different country... the feel, the food just makes u forget that you are in London. And to top it brilliant belly dancers to make the evening super fun filled..about 25 - 30PP guess with the taste and the entertainment you will not regret what you pay.. Must Must Must visit
great place for a date!
I took a friend for his 21th birthday here. The staff were helpful and place is beautifully decorated! very relaxed atmosphere.
we ordered: kibbe lahme and a mezza platter for one, aubergine tagine (which was free on bill!) & fattet kafta.
Both my friend and i were impressed with the mezza platter as it was plentiful (good for vegetarians as a main) . I think that the waiter added 2 extra pita-bread (which were so good to eat it plain) as he knew that my friend and i were sharing ( it was on the bill but not charged... how kind)
the kibbe was nice (FYI : 3pc)
the mains were great although i felt that the cous cous could have more flavour. the fattet was juicy.. however, i felt the mains were on the small side. Would return!
Amazing atmosphere delicious food
I've been here a few times and each time has been amazing. There is a lovely ambiance and the evening entertainment is always fun to watch. The restaurant were happy to accommodate a large group. We had a lovely time and the food was really delicious.
