Lunch is good
Excellent venue for lunch with friends or business lunch
Had a christmas dinner Easetway@And
Had a christmas dinner Easetway@Andaz Hotel. The soup was interesting and terrine was ok as starter, turkey was not too dry and quite good as main though trimming was a bit disappointing. Christmas trifle was superb actually. Friendly staff and good value.
christmas day breakfast
One of the few places around the city open for christmas day
Eastway at Andaz
We went there for the Christmas set menu and were pleasantly surprised. Good set menu, good food and friendly service. Exceptional value too. We would all recommend and will go back
Booked a meal here for Christmas
Booked a meal here for Christmas eve, could not fault the place. thought the menu was a nice change from the usual Italian fair, with some great vegi options and set meal deals made our eating experience 1st class.
Another great meal at Eastway,
Another great meal at Eastway, however a few of us wanted the tune, which they didn't get a delivery off, so we had to choose alternative main meals (with a side of disappointment). I opted for the salmon, which was still lovely, but it wasn't as good as the tuna, in my opinion. The bread was as good as always and the side of mash was just delicious. Despite my fishy disappointment, I will be back - hopefully they will have tuna this time!
Good food with very obliging staff
I went to The Eastway for a brief, early dinner with a friend. We both had the Top Table £15 for two courses deal and the food was as a result tremendous value. The kitchen staff very kindly plated up the two mains we had ordered in half-portions so we could try each other's order.
The starter of Parma Ham and Figs and the Sea Bass main were excellent and I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if they had been twice the price.
The other main of pork belly was a bit of a let-down - the fat was chewy rather than crispy and the flavours and textures of the dish didn't quite work for me. However, I don't think you could get many better meals in London for £15.
Nice casual dining
We opted for the set menu - there were enough options to choose from.
A good choice of wines.
The staff were really friendly.
The toilets are a bit of a trek away from the restaurant.
Eastway at the Andaz is a
Eastway at the Andaz is a greta place for a work breakfast. Service is friendly but not intrusive. Food arrived quickly and was efficiently cleared away afterwards.
Eastway at the Andaz
A very enjoyable lunch was had by our party. The ambience was relaxing, the staff attentive and the food delicious. Great central location.
Ideal for Liverpool Street Station
Close to Liverpool Street Station, so ideal to step off the train and walk round the corner to eat. Had the special offer lunch, so a restricted menu but both of us found something to suit, without wading through pages of offerings. Full of taste. Service was quick, very attentive and helpful. Just what we needed in a full day.
Took a client to breakfast here and it was fabulous. Service was attentive without being over the top and the food was superb. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel and have never had so much fresh salmon in plentiful supply. It was very good value too. Will definitely return.
Loved the Goats cheese and walnut salad:-)
what a lovely evening, food, ambience and staff were really amazing. had the 3 course set menu which was fab.
Another great breakfast
Really enjoy Eastway for business breakfasts. The service wasn't quite as attentive as last time, I wondered if they were short-staffed, but the food was excellent as always.
Overall, good for a quick
Overall, good for a quick business lunch for good quality food, reasonably priced.
make it personal
staff were too formulaic and a little bit gruff. If I ask for a black coffee I dont then expect to be asked if I want milk. If my colleagues asks for a large espresso he doesn't expect to asked if he wants a single or a double. Staff too busy being engaged in wine update when we wanted to settle and go. First waitress was very good and cheerful!
Good for a weekday lunch in The City. Fast service too.
Hit the spot
We fancied some tapas or something to pick at over a glass of fizz and Eastway fit the bill nicely. Enjoyed various options from the Charcuterie, hot and cold tapas menus and glasses of prosecco. Service was pretty good although one of our dishes was but was well worth the wait - prawns in panko breadcrumbs were my favourite and the bbq pork belly was good too. They rustled up some wheat-free bread for my coeliac companion without any fuss - big brownie points. Fairly quiet for a Saturday night, mainly hotel guests in there, but to be expected in the City. Would happily return.
Good for breakfast
Good food and efficient service, a good choice for a business breakfast in the City.
Excellent value and very good
Excellent value and very good food in a comfortable Liverpool Street setting
Very good value!
We had the set menu. The food was *exceptional* considering the price. The only quibble was the ratatouille was on the small side. The other two mains were just right - plentiful, but not so much that desert could not be enjoyed. The restaurant itself was ideal for friends to catchup - no loud music. Service was good - attentive, but not too much. Plus there was a wedding party with disco also in the hotel; we never knew until the end of the evening, so its a very well run hotel as well!
We enjoyed a lovely breakfast
We enjoyed a lovely breakfast the only down side was the tea was very weak. Nicely presented, quick service, leisurely, good value.
My partner being a ceoliac eating out can be a problem. The Andaz not only catered for this but actually presented him with two warm gluten free bread rolls before his meal. He was so gratful for this because so often he usualy is a bystander when the bread rolls are handed out. We thoughroughly enjoyed our meal. We though this was exceptional service and would certainly recomend the Hotel.
Very nice dining experience
We really enjoyed our meal at Eastway. The service was very good and the dishes were beautifully presented and tasteful. We dinned from the special offer menu which is quite good value for money. The free bread was delicious. What I saw of the rest of the hotel looked very stylish and I’d definitely like to try one of the other restaurants.
We had the set menu at £19
We had the set menu at £19 - excellent starters and desert. Roast lamb was good.
Calm corner in Central London
The Eastway was perfect for lunch with friends. The service was attentive but never overbearing. I booked on toptable then walked less than 10minutes later. Our table was already set up with a high chair as requested.
Attentive service, buzzy atmosphere
Had an early supper with a colleague; the service was impeccable from start to finish with an eye kept on keeping our glasses filled and dishes taken away as soon as they were finished. The atmosphere was buzzy with lots of suited business people without being stuffy, rather the opposite it had a relaxed social feel. The food choice was good and whilst a little pricey the generous portions made up for this. This is a regular haunt of mine and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for just a social get together or business meeting in a relaxed, airy environment.
Nice resturant/bar, when making
Nice resturant/bar, when making the reservation I initally chose the 2 course offer of £17 per person however on arrival we found the set menu very limited and ordered off the main menu (which of course ended up being more expensive) that said the food was good.
Well Worth a Visit
I visited Eastway at Andaz Hotel on a Sunday for brunch with my partner who was celebrating his birthday. It was well worth the visit, We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated promptly. All staff were very attentive. The food was very tasty and presented well. The ambience was perfect and the toilets were also very clean. Overall we both had a great experience. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.
A great place to meet friends or clients for coffee or lunch. The staff are friendly, service is good and the quality of the food is excellent. It's got something for everyone.
Casual catch up
This place is great for casual catch up but in a really nice environment.
Mostly great food at good prices
All the starters that we had were very tasty although the prawns on the set menu only had 3 prawns. Again most of the mains were great although a friend ordered the duck medium and it pretty much came out quacking. She sent it back and it then came out well done and was quite tough. All in all it was an enjoyable meal that was well priced with good service. I'd probably go again if I was in the area.
Another breakfast meeting,
Another breakfast meeting, but this time we ventured "off piste" with the poached eggs, muffin & chorizo - and an excellent choice it was!
The eggs were firm with a soft centre, the chorizo had been light griddled as had the muffin - melt in the mouth food.
Service as always was attentive without being overbearing.
Look forward to going back again - and soon.
Great Breakfast in a Great Location
Planned a breakfast meeting at Eastway for 8am. Great service, very organised and efficient with a nice menu, sensible pricing and delicious food. Fast, efficient and tasty.
Location is fantastic at Liverpool Street Station and very easy to find. One complaint, the place is insanely noisy. Put in some soft furnishings, curtains or carpet to cut the racket as we genuinely could not hear ourselves speak.
Nice business lunch
Had a very nice business lunch. Set menu. Very well cooked, better than expected. Nice dining room, plenty of space but buzzy ambience.
Lovely lunch with a friend!
A friend and I met for lunch at Eastway at Andaz hotel. The food was great and the service was very attentive. The windows were wide open which allowed a good indoor/outdoor feel, as well as a lovely breeze on a hot London day. It was a lot nicer than going to a pub but the food was pretty much the same price. Quick service as well, so able to do in your lunch hour.
Lovely food as usual
We enjoyed the 3 courses special which was exceptional value. I had the tomato soup then the trout followed by the chocolate sundae dessert. Great tasting food, very quick service and great waiter service too. We will be returning.
Had a wonderful birthday breakfast
Had a wonderful birthday breakfast with my husband...the food and service were wonderful, would definitely recommend this to others...
Great lunch, attentive service!
Another great lunch was held at Eastwat at Andaz hotel. The food is delicious, yet served quickly and the service is very professional and attentive. Would recommend when you are wanting to catch up with friends from the office or a business lunch.
The Eastway at the Andaz in Liverpool Street is ideal for a business breakfast meeting. Good service and good food.
My brother and I met after
My brother and I met after many years and we decided to have lunch at Andaz Hotel restaurant. We found it to be very pleasant and the service was excellent. The food was of high quality. The atmosphere was very good for spending a relaxed time.
We thought the restaurant is a very good value having in mind it's location. We had a lovely evening.
To eat or not to eat
Food & service very good although restaurant very quiet on a Wednesday evening. However as a group of 6, we were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great location particularly if you are meeting up with friends from out of town - right beside Liverpool St station. Bring a cushion - seats hard!
Took a Belgian colleague there
Took a Belgian colleague there & he was very impressed. Good choice of food. Excellent staff, who really understood all our needs.. 2 mins to Liverpool St train platforms, so ideal for pre-train meals.
Well prepared good value creative
Well prepared good value creative dishes in a friendly atmosphere
Nice, simple menu, not too
Nice, simple menu, not too many options, well cooked and served promptly. Ideal for a short, sharp business conversation over lunch.
Good for relaxed lunch in the City
Relaxed place with decent light menu, food and drinks are good. Its nothing fancy but a good place to catch a nice relaxing meal in the City. Its not stuffy and the service is brisk and quick - not alot of waiting around which is nice. The menu had good variety and was nicely done. Not too much frivilous food and a good portion of hearty salads too.
The service was the only let down
We eat at Eastway fairly often as it is close to the office. The food is always reliably good but this time the service was a let down. We asked for a minor change to one of the dishes and this appeared to cause a real problem for our waiter. He checked with the kitchen and it was of course fine but he had created quite a drama for us to get to that point.
Great place near LIverpool station
We stopped for a quick meal @ 1930 Sunday before sending our daughter off on her train. We were in quite a hurry-dinner under one hour. My husband had lamb shank-ate every bite-rare for this picky guy. A Caesar salad w/ chicken our Dtr-well done. Our son had burger and fries; proclaimed delicious! My spaghetti w/ smoked salmon & crème fraiche was absolutely wonderful; plus side of spinach-surprisingly well done. Nice selection of beer, wine, and soda. Attentive and very efficient staff. We had a very nice meal quickly, without feeling rushed at all. Very fair price as well. Several couples & groups were enjoying more leisurely time. Wish we had known about this place on several previous trips to London. We will return.
