For private functions and business meetings of any occasion and time of day, further to the main restaurant we have two unique separate dining areas. The private dining room caters for up to 20 guests and lies in the vaults of Angelus. In the heart of the kitchen our popular chefs table accommodates up to 6 guests. Menus can be created to order by our head chef Joe Howley.
Making clever use of what was formerly a deep-set wine cellar, the Private dining room has been created by restoring the original open brickwork walls, importing a floor hewn from stone from a quarry in Burgundy and incorporating a glass wall temptingly overlooking the restaurant’s private wine cellar.
The chefs table transports a diner to the heart of the kitchen. Decked in open brickwork and with no table cloth you are welcomed in to the Engine room of Angelus where you can witness at first hand the freshly prepared produce being cooked and served.

Named after the Angelus Bell, this “bistro de luxe” is located in one of London’s last working mews. Formally the site of an old pub, the Art-Déco interiors have been cleverly incorporated into the original architecture of this early 19th century building. Dark wood, sumptuous fabrics and elaborate mirrors help create the atmosphere of a very elegant brasserie, yet the ambiance and service is welcoming and relaxed. Focusing on select favourites, the menu will include starters of Crème brulée au foie gras, followed by examples of fish and meat like Fillet of cod with chorizo, broccoli, grilled spring onions, toasted almond milk and brandade or Roast rump of Salt Marsh lamb, blanquette of shoulder and sweetbreads, seasonal vegetables.
Located next door to the Hyde Park Stables and just minutes from the Park itself, Angelus is the perfect place to enjoy an atmospheric brunch, lunch or dinner, or just a relaxing snack after a stroll through one of the most famous parks in London.
