Paco's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Busy but not too noisy. Good atmosphere.
Goats cheese starter is a must. Excellent steaks, but the french fries rather soggy.
we came here for our 12th anniversary. The staff were very kind as soon as we walked in. there was no rush to order and felt very relaxed I would definitely go again. the food was amazing not to little and not to much just perfect thank you so much
Best Tapas since Madrid
The only thing missing from Paco's spanish restaurant was the sun. The food was very good, well priced and authentic. We had a selection of tapas and two of the boards, this was more than enough for the two of us. There was also a good wine selection. When we went on the Saturday they were very busy downstairs but quiet upstairs in the tapas restaurant. It is the first time we have been as we don't live in Perth but will certainly visit again next time we're in town. The large outdoor seating area looked very nice and there is a deli as well if you want to buy some of the produce.

Great service, best steaks we've had in a long time. Good value for money.

I have been to Paco's about 4 times now and every time I go I am always delighted with the courteous service and the amazing quality of food!
We had lunch in a quiet Monday afternoon. Food was great with lots of decent choices. Staff were very friendly. Cocktails were good. What more do you need?
Burgers 1st class
I have eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed, my daughter had never been before, she was impressed with Paco's not just with the food and service, she has never seen so much memorabilia in one place.
We arrived a little early but table was ready Chose not to have a starter in the hope we could have dessert. Service very prompt for drinks and as soon as they were served our food order was taken. Chicken enchiladas gorgeous and partner had sirloin with creamy mash he said deicious. Unfortunayely neither of us could manage dessert but have had on a previous visit Highly reccomend eating here
Home from home!
Another lovely dining experience, great food, cheerful service and lively atmosphere. Probably our 12th visit to Paco's!
Excellent restaurant, very central, beautiful setting. Food was excellent, service was great, very child friendly and would definitely go back. Only slight down side was that the chairs were not very comfortable to sit in. But this would not put me off visiting again.
Cant fault the food. I appreciate that staff training is ongoing but I did feel we were constantly being watched by waiting staff which is a bit off putting.
Excellent Service and Food!
The service was great and also the staff attention to detail. The food was lovely and very well presented.
Not the same
Been going to Pacos for many years but hadn't been for a few months. Felt it has gone down hill. Steak wasn't a very nice cut of meat. They also forgot to bring our ordered sauces. Didn't get asked if we wanted desserts. Not the same atmosphere. Staff didn't seem very well trained , they were not very attentive. The welcome wasn't very friendly either.
Having arranged and provided balloons and sparkles to be on the table I was disappointed that the balloons were not others and the sparkles not on the table when we arrived. Told we arrived too early which was not true we arrived exactly on time and sparkles were not put on table as they make a mess. This was a 50th birthday lunch for my son. Very disappointed when I had made arrangements and very poor excuses from staff . Will I go back maybe but not for a celebration.
Never disappoints. Always have a lovely get together and fab meal here. Service always good even when Restaurant is busy.
It was my wife’s birthday, and we had a lovely meal with our daughter, the lovely wee lass that served us was cheerful and good fun which added to our enjoyment of the evening, a sparkling ice sundae treat for my wife topped off the night. Thank you Paco's and well done.
We LOVED our Tapas experience @Pacos. Food was absolutely delicious and staff very attentive. Tapas at pacos compared to the other places like that in Perth seems a bit expensive though and portions were very small. another small little thing was the lighting :-) although very romantic and excellent for a night , combined with very strange font menu made it very hard for us to read the menu! I wear glasses and I just couldn't figured out what the menu says at all :-). Overall we had an amazing evening and will definitely be back ( soon!) The waiter who served us so attentive and informative that made us to love that place even more . :-)
I was with a group and we all enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant friendly staff, Our meals were all well presented and very tasty. I'd recommend Pacos to groups, families and couples alike. A great all round restaurant with something on the menu for everyone.
My husband and I had a wonderful time, the place is spectacular with interesting décor and jazz music. Staff was friendly and attentive . We ordered pizza, my husband is Italian, enjoyed it, but it wasn't the best pizza served in the Perthshire, a little bland. Overall it was great experience.
I knew what I was having before I went. Not living in Perth anymore I decided to go pacos as I wanted fajitas. Best fajitas in town :) was delish. I look forward to trying to Spanish tapas bar when I'm next in Perth.
We had a fillet and T-bone steaks, they were perfect. Pepper sauce spot on. Great value. The cheap frozen oven chips were a huge disappointment. A few pence more spent on better quality chips would have made this the best steak dinner in Perth.
Great pre concert meal
Very nice meal with very friendly and helpful wait staff. Happy to recomend.

it was very busy but not enough staff on duty!!!!!! We were celebrating my husbands 50th Birthday took a long time for drinks to come to the table, we sat with our dirty starter plates in front of us for a long time and only got removed when main course arrived ordered steak and had to ask for steak knifes could not get a member of staff to take an other drinks order only had 1 drink each sat with dirty plates for a long time when finished main course had to ask for plates to be removed, so just paid bill and left not the usual standard from Pacos
small partyon 9th and again on 11th with over 20
Never been before and needed a pre-theatre meal on 9th May, so efficient and an addition to original booking required a few days prior was accepted. Again on 11th with a larger party, arranged with my friends from Perth and Kinross SWRI Federation choir was so well managed and staff were pleasant to us, many will return but meaning to be back again next year when our session ends. WRI can spread the word!!!!
All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The food was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The menu had a wide variety of options - even the fussiest of our group was more than satisfied with the choices on offer! We would definitely return should we venture to Perth again! It also is an excellent place to dine should you be visiting the concert hall as we were.

We were at Pacos for a retiral lunch. The starters were great but the main course was just warm. Wine is a bit over priced. The staff were lovely and we had a nice time, maybe try the tapas the next time. Just can't rave about it, missing the wow factor.
Great place and food, but a bit misled at booking.
Been here before and will recommend as usual. Slightly disappointed this time, in that we had asked and booked for the Tapas bar specifically. We even confirmed this by phone the following day. On the day of our arrival (for my wife's birthday celebration), we were told that because we had a wee one (aged 2 years), the Tapas bar was not suitable and we would have to dine at the main restaurant. This we did as we could not find another restaurant at short notice but it was disappointing nonetheless, especially when we had confirmed it after our booking. Don't think it was the restaurant's fault on the day but the communication/understanding of the people organising our booking could be better and would have averted our disappointment.
Had a great meal with my husband we loved the food and service was really good Will be back
Service was 1st class , food was very good a bit of noise at times due to groups sometime hard to hear the other person
Great choice of menu to suit all
As a regular visitor to Paco's restaurant in Perth, the options on the menu never fail to deliver something you would want. If you can't agree where you want to go for a specific type of food then the easy answer is to go to somewhere which caters for all tastes - Paco's achieves this with Italian, Mexican, American, steaks, chicken, fish, Thai to name just a few. A great range of starters and desserts to follow so make your mind up but if you can't and love chocolate then you need to save some room for the warm Chocolate spoon cake with ice cream. Great service and atmosphere although the noise level can rise quite quickly when it gets busier. Access to toilets is upstairs and not sure if disable access or options exist. Worth every penny and great value!
Amazing Food, good value
Extensive menu something for everyone. Food cooked to order so always fresh. Great choice of cocktails, the frozen margaritas are the best I've tasted. Great atmosphere.
We found this restaurant last summer when we stayed a few days longer in Perth after Rewind. It was a lovely summer evening and sitting outside just felt so relaxed. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is outstanding. Great value for money to. Earlier this week we were going to see Simple Minds at Perth Concert Hall. We booked into the Premier Inn just over the street next door to the Concert Hall. We remembered Paco's and how much we enjoyed it. It was so handy to come out of the hotel, cross the street where we once again enjoyed the food and service. It really is a lovely restaurant inside and out. The food is lovely and the staff are very friendly and efficient. I will be back in the summer when we are in Perth once more for Rewind
Took granddaughter for 11 birthday . Had a great time . Food was excellent and choice was exceptional. Would recommend it for any occasion. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will be back.
Bring on the Tapas!!
We decided to go here pre-theatre not wanting a heavy meal and had heard about the new tapas restaurant. Although, the lighting was dim, our eyes soon become accustomed to the light and we ordered a range of tapas to share. The food was excellent and the Madrid born waitress offered an opportunity to refresh my Spanish (badly). Authentic Spanish tapas served quickly and a very extensive choice. I would recommend this to other customers.
Mother's Day treat
Enjoyed meal as usual have been there many times. All staff very friendly. Paco always says hello if he sees you.
Absolutely loved my dinner here...wish Paco's was closer to home because I'd go here all the time!!!
Dinner with friends
Wouldn't say this was a romantic intimate venue, more good fun for families and friends. Good selection on the menu and good service. Slightly overpriced for basic dishes.
Great pre-theatre meal
Service was efficientl and our food was quickly ordered and delivered. Meal was hot, tasty and large portions.
I have not been to pacos for a while. Food not as good as it used to be. Fajitas slimy. Chicken Thai curry spicy but lacking in flavour. Service slow and drinks order wrong due to lack of understanding of English. I won't hurry back. Shame.
