    We enjoyed our visit to Oxford, enjoying meals at Oxford Spires Hotel and the Living Room. The food was lovely, but the amount of vegetables seemed somewhat sparse when compared with the meat portions. Our chicken dish, with mashed potato and green beans was very tasty but looked small. It would have benefitted from additional veg such as broccoli etc within the price of the dish. Another concern was trying to tackle chicken on the bone when in a bowl rather than a plate as it is difficult to cut into when the cutlery has to be held higher up. I know it is common for many eateries to use bowls but it is not always practical when trying to cut certain foods. The waitress who served us was very good and an asset to the Living Room. ...More
