A word from One-O-One Restaurant
Fish is the dish at One-O-One, Knightsbridge's most highly-acclaimed seafood restaurant. The atmosphere at lunchtime is buzzy, bright and fast. The evening brings a sea-change to cool, candlelit elegance, appreciated by its clientele of sophisticated adults. Chef Pascal Proyart draws inspiration from his childhood on the Brittany coast to create dishes like pan-roasted Norwegian white halibut and langoustine dumpling with Paimpol coco bean and truffle cassoulet and sauce Nantua, and Scottish beef fillet cooked lyonnaise with rich red burgundy sauce, morel mushrooms duxelles, sautéed potatoes. Excellent wine list, many by the glass. Both ingredients and surroundings are of the highest quality, and One-O-One is deeply committed to sustainably-sourced fish.

Dress Code is smart casual. Destroyed pants, shorts and unclosed shoes would not be accepted.

Diner Reviews
  • "My wife and I love this restaurant. The set menu is good, although a little limited in choice. The wine by the glass menu could be bigger and better value. That said, still great food and I really like the little extras they give you including beautiful petit fours with your coffee."

  • "Really excellent cooking and very pleasant service, with a few minor lapses"
    dined on 08/04/2014
  • "Food was great, no question about it. I also got 30% off deal, so it was not as expensive as usual. We were running late and I called to ask them to move us 1 hour later, the lady said that it was not possible as 9pm is their busiest time. Well, to our surprise, the restaurant was empty!!! And that was Saturday night."
    dined on 15/03/2014
  • "My boyfriend and I had dinner here on Friday evening, and we chose the tasting terre a mer menu with matching wines. We both thought the food was fantastic, each course was exceptional. We particularly loved the lobster starter, the halibut dish and the beef. The restaurant itself was nice and relaxed, and the staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely be back, and thoroughly recommend this place. Only negative was not much wine was given, I felt they could have given a bit more. Still not a big deal!"

  • "The Valentine tasting menu was a one-off experience. The ingredient combinations, choice of colours, textures and design surpassed anything I have tasted from this Chef. Performance is the word that comes to mind."
    dined on 23/02/2014
  • "The service is impeccable and the food is edging on Michelin quality but just underperforms due to overseasoning and a relatively quiet atmosphere although we did see a birthday cake with sparklers come out for one couple and a bottle of champagne for a special night out for the other table next to us."
    dined on 14/03/2014
  • "Our experience has been tremendous. Being French, I was looking for top-quality dishes and I have not been disappointed. Ambiance is ideal for romantic diner and service is attentive all along. It's fair to say the price are high (about 80/100£ per person for a full diner + champagne) but my experience is : it worth's it."
    dined on 20/12/2013
  • "The restaurant server great sea food, but both the service and ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Value was reasonable with the £35 3 course set menu ending at £65 per person when drinks and service was added."
    dined on 08/03/2014
  • "My husband and I had the set lunch at £27 for three courses. The food was sensational and great value. The wine list is quite expensive, so our bill ended up £166 for two. Then again we also had aperitifs, a bottle of burgundy and dessert wine. If you are less inclined to drink wines like us, then it really is a bargain. Service was very good and friendly. The A La Carte is expensive. We will definitely go back."
    dined on 09/03/2014
  • "This was one of our special dinners, and the food was great. The waiter recommended a special drink that we loved, and the bartender even came to the table before we left and taught us how to make it ourselves, and when my girlfriend commented how much she loved her dessert, the waiter reappeared 2 minutes later with a second helping. How often does that happen? We will definitely go back."
    dined on 02/03/2014
  • "As always food excellent with subtle twists. I only wish the wine was better value as the mark up is little over the top."
    dined on 22/02/2014
  • "We have eaten at One-O-One several times and are never disappointed. The quality of the food and the flavours are second to none. Both my wife and I love fish so this is the perfect restaurant for us.Starters of scallops and bouillabaise were both delicious, followed by sea bass in red wine and halibut. All the fish is beautifully cooked and the flavours wonderful without overpowering the fish. The desserts are also excellent, the chocolate brownie with honeycomb not at all heavy. The only criticism is the somewhat limited wine list, but this is a minor point and we will definitely be returning. The 30% discount makes it good value for money."

  • "Would fully recommend, the food and service was faultless...."
    dined on 15/02/2014
  • "Top Table menu very good value at £35. Smallish portions of very creative fish dishes excellently served. Wine selection good, glass of coke eye watering £4.50. Decor a little dated."
    dined on 01/02/2014
  • "Five stars for one o one, a really great restaurant."
    dined on 22/01/2014
  • "Superb fish and very good service, still amazingly underpopulated!"
    dined on 17/01/2014
  • "The food was excellent and, using the offer, the value was very good. The Italian waiter made the evening special, and the rest of the staff were very attentive without being over the top. The two problems were that the restaurant was stark, seating not that comfy, and the wine list was very expensive. The value of the evening was therefore poor overall unless you just drink water, and definitely avoid the recommended cocktails!"
    dined on 16/01/2014
  • "I reserved a table for 19:30 and arrived 15 minutes early; we expected the table to be available to us for 2 hours, until 21:15 to 21:30. I was unhappy that at 20:45, as soon as my companions finished the last mouthful of their desert, the maître d' told us that he needed the table back immediately as he had other diners waiting - he offered complimentary coffee or tea, which none of us drink, in the bar - generous but beside the point. I didn't want to complain in front of our guest but a great meal was spoilt by being pushed out of the door sooner than we wished - very poor in a restaurant of this quality and one where we have previously dined on many occasions. I subsequently emailed the restaurant on 2 occasions but received no reply."
    dined on 24/12/2013
  • "Went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time after having been there for lunch several times before. As expected everything was perfect. For the food this restaurant is definitely one of the very best in London, especially for fish. Service, ambience and wine recommendations are outstanding as well and with the 30% off food it is even very good value for money."
    dined on 29/12/2013
  • "I was visiting friends in Knightsbridge and One-O-One was nearby with tables available, they also were offering 30% with a top table reservation. The 30% should have told me something but it had a high review. I rarely eat in Knightsbridge other than an occasional lunch at Harvey Nichols. Living in Manhattan and having a flat in London for 25 years I'm use to eating well. The maître d was quite nice and well trained but the waiter was snobby and was taken a back when I told him to place the risotto onto two separate plates, I said we split the order. The risotto was over done and soft, I was told that was a French preparation? Correct risotto is only prepared one way as is pâté or escargot! I suggest J. Sheekey or Greens much more."
    dined on 29/12/2013
  • "Been to One-O-One many times. When they reduced the offer from 50% to 30% we stopped going for a while but decided to go back again. The food is very good but not so sure about value for money. Would still go back but not as often."
    dined on 21/12/2013
  • "We came last year for a birthday and this time was not a special occassion but the food and drinks are so great it makes it feel like a special occassion."
    dined on 19/12/2013
  • "Had the One O one £35 3 course dinner menu. Service is Perfect The food is Perfect The portions were Perfect for ladies - Too small for gentlemen - This could be easily improved by Chef adding on main course a portion of whatever would compliment the dish like Potato puree or rice or pasta."
    dined on 18/12/2013
  • "Astounding seafood and fish, as usual. The best fish and seafood restaurant in London, by my reckoning!"
    dined on 14/12/2013
  • "And the lunch menu makes it incredibly good value for money."
    dined on 09/12/2013
  • "Despite the corporate feel of the room I don't think that this restaurant can be belated for fish. Every mouthful is bliss!!!!"
    dined on 30/11/2013
  • "The ambience and setting of the restaurant is spot on, food is subtle and exquisite. Service is excellent. Highly recommended."
    dined on 06/12/2013
  • "A birthday lunch that exceeded expectations. This was my second visit to this restaurant and it did not disappoint."
    dined on 30/11/2013
  • "This was the first time we have tried this restaurant and we had the taster menu called Terre et Mer. The seafood was all done very well, although I'm still not sure about the marriage of scallops with foie gras. The weakest course was the meat course which was beef and not helped by the fact that it was served lukewarm. Service was very good but slowed up as the evening got busier. Well worth trying."
    dined on 23/11/2013
  • "We had lunch at One-O-One at the weekend and booked the 3 courses and coffee for £27. It was very good value and the service was great. The food was extremely good - in particular the desserts. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we weren't rushed. It is definitely worth a second visit and would recommend it to others."
    dined on 23/11/2013
  • "I must admit, One-o-One is the best seafood restaurant I have been to so far in the UK. It is truly amazing in every way - the food is spectacular, service is friendly and attentive and the ambiance is very classy. Highly recommended."
    dined on 18/11/2013
  • "Arrived at Restaurant and given warm welcome by staff who were very attentive during the meal. Chose the taster menu which was delivered promptly with explanations from the waiters/waitresses as to the various dishes all of which were presented to the highest standard. all wines served with the dishes complimented each course beautifully. Will definitely come again to this restaurant when in London next."
    dined on 17/11/2013
  • "We had the £35 three-course dinner. Quality of food was very good. Between the four of us we tried all the different dishes on the set menu deal. Service was a bit slow and one would expect more in this price range."
    dined on 07/11/2013
  • "We were 3 for dinner and ordered 3 different starters and 3 different mains - all were great. The service is really good. The prices are quite high, but worth paying."
    dined on 03/11/2013
  • "The seafood was terrific and it was the best I ever had. The service was first class."

  • "loved the food and atmosphere this place generates. Would love to go back soon."
    dined on 09/06/2013
  • "having been countless times in the past but were disappointed that they have abandoned their wonderful petits plats menu for a more conventional three course set lunch. However the quality of the cooking remains at the top and we enjoyed our Manx Queenies and Sea Bass far more than a similar meal at Outlaw at the Capital a couple of days before. Be warned, the wine-list makes me wince and my wallet shudder."
    dined on 28/10/2013
  • "As I chose the tasting menu, there is no 30% discount so the price is fair considering the tasty food we had. Dont think it will be one of our regular place to eat because including drinks it came to over £200.00 for 2"
    dined on 27/10/2013
  • "The restaurant is clearly well managed, the staff are welcoming and relaxed, they do not rush you, they explain what your meals are and give advice and recommendations. The food is excellently presented, great care is taken to ensure it meets the expectations of the guests! I would eat in the restaurant again, I would recommend to friends!"
    dined on 27/10/2013
  • "King crab legs were divine and Yuzu sorbet and vodka oysters stunning. Service was mixed- some staff were great, some somewhat arrogant which the only minus point. Ambiance was calm and sophisticated- would go back just for the crab legs!"
