The Tudor Restaurant is a lovely place to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food is excellent and definitely value for money. Do try the Rump of Lamb so tender it melted in your mouth. David one of the staff came to our car and carried our luggage to the room, he then brought us to the room a bottle of wine in a wine cooler with two glasses without hesitating to do so. He also put our luggage back into the car on our departure. All the staff were very helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone. We started in the lounge where we choose our food and when ready we let to the dinning area. Our teas/coffees we took back in the lounge. It was great even with some little kids in a quiet restaurant. The menu was great.

Mary Green Manor was certainly that, recommended to me by a member of family, I'm so glad they did. The meal did cost a lot of money but they also provide a cheaper set course option if required. For the quality of the whole evening I would pay it again. We came for a birthday celebration and it was wonderful. We went for the tasting menu with wine pairings and almost all of it was perfection. If we could have rated it as 4.5 stars we would have. The restaurant is beautiful but was a little empty which affected our experience a little but all staff were excellent and overall we loved it!! Once again it was a lovely experience. A really nice ambiance about the place, super service and quite wonderful food. If there was one slight criticism it would be that we didn't think quite so much effort had been made with the Christmas decrorative side to the place. But it was still a really nice atmosphere.
