Seems to be quite famous but wasnt that exciting for us. Food could have been much better, london offers many nicer places for Indian cuisine.

Clean, friendly and organized. The portions are very generous.
Restaurant was empty when we arrived but started to fill up whilst we were there, we arrived at 6:30 thinking we will get served quickly while it's quite. Starters didn't come for 45 minutes but they didn't come all together. The popadums never arrived. The vegetarian starters were too spicy. The main was better. We won't be going back.

We went on fathers day as a party of 10. And again was so disappointed by the food and service. We used to like this place, now not so much, manager is quite rude. The last 3 times we have been have been not to standard. Some food was raw and the meat starters tasted like they had a fridge taste to them. We will not be returning again.
Not great for the money that we pay for.
Food is good, but not great. Very very expensive i.e. almost double than expected as the quantity served is very less.
Lovely dining experience in Southall
My first time to Madhu's with friends who are regulars. It didn't disappoint. I had a fantastic potato cake starter with a chutney which was one of the tastiest things I've had all year. For mains We ordered half a dozen dishes to share between the four of us, including a lamb and chicken curry. All were very tasty. The service was good and it was nice to see big family groups dining together. More special than your average curry house.
Have visited this restaurant several times over the last couple of years. When we decide to go out for a meal this is my first and only choice. I am guaranteed an excellent meal.
Waited ages to be seated down, then asked if we would like to order our drinks and starters, without a menu. Took ages bringing our prosecco and when the waiter opened it went everywere, then he attempted to put it in the glass and it overflowed all over the place. Food was ok, the chili chicken felt like it had been cooked ages ago. Was just looking for a traditional indian restaurant. But was very disappointed.
Good food and good atmosphere.
We had our dinner on Valentines day. It was little crowded but the service was managed very nicely. Made me and wife feel special. Once complaint for Madhu's to take a note of. We are from Cardiff and do not get option to dine in Madhu's a lot. We ordered extra food to be taken away after the meal for next day but our order was packed incomplete. My wife is a vegetarian and here ordered was misplaced. I understand it was really busy but She was very disappointed the next day. But thanks for the special evening. Regards,
The food at the restaurant was very good, it was unfortunately let down by the service of our waiter. Will not be going there again.
wouldn't go there again!!
I have been to quite a few restaurants in southall and lets just say the food at Madhus wasn't up to scratch and tasty, you get very less for the high price you are paying. They charge for the smallest thing like popadoms which are normally on the table anyway in other restaurants and we were only given a dip after we had finished them! Main course wasn't all that tasty either. Just wanted to get out of there.. wasn't a nice experience on Valentines day!
The food was delicious. will definitely visit again. authentic indian food.
New Years eve
We went to Madhus for our New Year's Eve meal as we did not want to go to any of the dinner and dance and stay until midnight, the food was very good, the only thing that disappointed me was we felt rushed, at one point we were told that we had to be out by 9.30pm as they were expecting some other customers to take our table...
We will be back...
The food here was outstanding - probably the best Indian food I think I have ever eaten. Every single dish we ordered was lovely, and by the end we were still intrigued by the other dishes that we hadn't had room to order! For that reason alone we will definitely be going back. The one tiny problem, if there was one, was some overcrowding - we were upstairs and opposite a very large table which was celebrating a small child's birthday. This would have been fine but (a) it squeezed the diners opposite and (b) the large party were rather behaving as though they had booked the entire upstairs which they hadn't (milling around as if at a reception party, etc). We just felt rather "squeezed" in terms of personal space. This wasn't really the restaurant's fault although I might have been tempted to ask some of them to sit down and sit still once in a while! This was on a Monday night and the restaurant seemed packed. Pretty impressive compared to most average restaurants. One small tip - if you don't already know Southall and you are driving, parking can be quite tricky as it is residential only until 8pm. We eventually found a car park in Herbert Road, accessible via a one way system in Beachcroft Avenue. It wasn't well signposted and would have been useful to know about it in advance!
Great Service, Tasty Food!
Held a a long overdue family dinner. Was great service and food. The waiter also accommodated my special request to deliver something to the Birthday Boy instead of cake. The waiter was inventive and brought out some small dessert along with sparklers.

The reputation wasn't lived up to. We were placed on a corner table by the bar where we heard what seemed to be a head waiter bossing other staff around throughout most of the meal. Slightly uncomfortable. Paneer for starters was slap dashly presented. Nice sauce, fresh panner but over cooked so was rubbery. Salmon was lovely. Mains were standard, could get the same taste and friendlier service at many other restaurants. We went on Diwali we were watched for most our meal to hurry up and eat and once finished we were finishing our drinks and asked to leave as people were waiting for the table. My first time was a disappointment. Won't be returning.
Went along with 9 colleagues and had a lovely authentic Indian food served by well trained staff and a first class restaurant manager. We shall certainly return for more of the same.
Madhu's the authentic experience
We have returned many times to madhu's for the great taste, the lively ambience, and the setting in Southall always feel you have just touched down in India. Always good value for money. Book at the weekend otherwise you will be in for a long wait for a table.
Recommend to all lovers of Indian.
Madhu's is a great restaurant. One of the best indian restaurants I have been to in many years. It's now become our regular. Great varity of food. Good selection of wine and the service is second to none! We like things a bit different from the norm! And Madhu's gave us just that!! Modern surroundings and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend to all for a unique taste of the Indian menu.
Exceptional Food & Service
This Restaurant has character & good atmosphere, the food is authentic Indian with a modern twist, the service is exemplary & attention to detail brings the whole experience alive. The excellent food continued with each course throughout the meal, each item ordered had a fantastic taste & will be an experience that should be repeated on our next visit.
Dinner on the 5/9/2014
I went with my family for a birthday dinner at Madhus and throughly enjoyed the food and service provided. The only downfall was the non veg dishes which one member of my family ordered and was not happy with it. Other than that, I would definately recommend Madhus to anyone. Highly sophisticated service and approach towards each customer. Excellent all round.
Having returned to what was once one of my favourite Indian eateries, I was left very dissapointed. It was a family Birthday meal family including children. Now the first impression given by the staff was more the kind 'if you are going to be spending money in here we will serve you right else we wont bother' which is what we got. The fact that I had booked ahead and the table was not ready and no napkins provided was something that took me by surprise as service was what Madhus stood out for! Starters were great. Mains were mediocre and they messed up and still had the audcaity to charge for the incorrect dish when it was given as a complimentary as a result? Madhus was up there 10 years ago but now sadly we wont be returning!
seriously over rated
I thought I would try this restaurant as I'd seen a number of reviews. It was quite good, but not up to the standard I had expected i.e. not as good as Karahi King in Wembley, or Tayyabs in Whitechapel. On the plus side, I thought the portion sizes were generous. And the interior is quite smart. But I found the service rather pushy. And when we asked to take the leftovers home, they "forgot" to give us the lamb. Overall, I wouldn't go back as I know better places for this style of food.

restaurant is bit on small side & can get very busy.unfortunatle for us there was a birthday party of 15 people & it was too much noise for me as they took over the restaurant cheering & taking photos without consideration to other diners.the food was great but bit pricy for the area.not much choice of beers except cobra or carling.averall I would give 3 star to this restaurant as I have eaten in best restaurants in Mumbai ,melting pot, haibo & paid less with fantastic ambience & service & taste.
Fabulous food as usual!
Madhus is consistently excellent everytime I visit. The food here is by far the best Indian cuisine in west london
Still very good
We haven't been to Madhu's for a while but the food remains very good with attentive service. Will be going back.
You can't really go wrong picking this restaurant, always have a good experience, the food is lovely! I would have rated the food Outstanding, if only they had not run out of their signature fish dish!
Real punjabi food !
we been to Madhu's a few times and have never been disappointed. Food is lovely, fresh and hot ! Ambience is nice and seating is comfortable. Good choice of menu. variety of drinks to choose from. Oh forgot to mention the deserts :P
Was this an off day for Madhu's?
Was good, however on this visit it was dire. The chicken served was not fresh and had a reheated smell. Worst part of experience was the waiter. He was very pushy and kept adding dishes we did not ask for, and had to keep asking to have items taken off. Also, apart from pushing dishes, he was not interested in being friendly to a family whilst falling over himself over a group on company meal on next table. Finally the manager who was friendly did not apply open table advertised discount to bill until pointed out. They did not have our opentable booking on arrival until I had to point it out on list- attempt to not apply discount from the off I think. Only positive was that with discount this was reasonably priced in the end. Bad evening.
No ambience. food made us all feel.
The restaurant smelt like bleach and other cleaning products. We ordered the butter chicken and tandoori chicken as appetisers. Butter chicken tasted bland and salty. The mains were all full of oil and made us bloated after a few mouthfuls. Definitely not returning or recommending.
The restaurant was very well
The restaurant was very well kept with a ambient décor. Although there was long intervals between food served the service and food was a delight and thoroughly enjoyed by the entire party. Pricing was set at a more premium level in comparison to competitors within the local area, however the quality of food is very high.
Would not go again.
The food was mediocre for the price and the service was abysmal, had to constantly remind the waiters what we asked for. Some of the waiters came across as impatient and rude.
Amazing food and the service
Amazing food and the service was excellent. Friendly polite staff.
Try it and love it for life
Just amazing, first went 2 years ago and cannot entertain the idea of eating this cuisine anywhere else.
Brilliant food-outstanding service
We always come to this restaurant and we have never been let down. We have always received the best service, and the guys here always cater to our needs.
white tablecloth indian in southall
I have been a few times to Madhus and the food is still very nice. wide variety of staters and main for both veg and non veg. The veg selection seems to have improved so well done. It's not a crazy ambience type of restaurant but it's still nice and the service is good
Worth the wait
I have heard great things about Madhu and glad I finally made it. Good service. Tasty. Not the cheapest in Southall, but certainly a more sophisticated experience than most in the area. Worth the extra few pounds, especially as portion sizes are generous and we went on 20% off offer from Top Table.
THE place to eat
The best food I have ever & I mean ever tasted in my life. The service was excellent, the waiters were excellent & the food was every thing I wanted & will make this my regular place to eat.
Madhu's is the real experiance
We have sampled many Indian restaurants, and we are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel around north and south India to taste the various regional dishes. We highly recommend Madhu's. Although the menu is relatively short each dish is fantastic, tasty and varied. We have returned many times and always find something new to try. Would highly recommend meat eaters to try the vegtarian dishes. The bill is always small compared with the high quality. Try it yourself!
Fantastic, gut-busting selection
Fantastic, gut-busting selection of food, recommended by our server. Service was superb! A wonderful experience for a very special occasion.
