Made In Camden at the RoundhouseYummyExcellent if you've got a show at The Roundhouse. Wonderful food, great service. Definitely recommended!29/05/2013 00:00:00This can be quite a noisyThis can be quite a noisy venue, especially if there is a festival at the Roundhouse. However, it is lively and friendly with a very mixed client group. The food is great and well presented and service is attentive and friendly. I enjoy it each time I have been and so have my guests which have included vegetarians. Highly recommended for an informal eating experience12/05/2013 00:00:00Food better then you would thinkWhen i arrived at the roundhouse i didnt think the restaurant looked that impressive.
The tables, chairs and decor are very plain.
I was suprised at how good the food was and so convenient being inside the venue if you have a gig to go to.11/05/2013 00:00:00Excellent food, bad serviceReally tasty food with a menu that changes regularly to keep it interesting. It's always really tasty and super filling.
It's let down by having the *worst* front-of house/waiting staff. They're so slow and don't notice you waiting for things all the time. The food is worth tolerating the shoddy service, though.11/05/2013 00:00:00Roundhouse bites with vibe to spareI visited Made in Camden before watching a performance at the Roundhouse, expecting dfood that was just ok. Turns out it's outstanding - really well prepared and full of flavour. Beverages consumed were delicious - expertly crafted Aperol Spritz. Great attentive staff too!08/05/2013 00:00:00Served a purpose...Great service and ambience, and served a purpose before the performance. The food was good from the set menu....23/04/2013 00:00:00Good ambience and friendlyGood ambience and friendly staff plus interesting food albeit a small menu.13/04/2013 00:00:00BrunchGood spot for brunch pre- or mid-shopping in Camden market07/04/2013 00:00:00DeliciousLoved my time there. Great service, great food, great ambience - you're guaranteed a good weekend brunch.17/03/2013 00:00:00Amazing!Great staff - we arrived 15 mins late but still had a table reserved (considering this was on a night when there was a performance at The Roundhouse and there were queues outside this was very welcome).
The food was outstanding - I would recommend the venison burger to ANYONE!
The service was first class and great value for money - we will return!15/03/2013 00:00:00Made In Camden, RoundhouseWent to Made In Camden for yet another Sunday brunch. Great, relaxed venue and atmosphere. Staff can sometimes be a little slow, but they are well-meaning and just need a bit of prodding. The menu is great. I had the Flatbread with soft boiled egg and my friend had the chorizo sandwich, we also ordered a couple of extras. Every dish was great, delicious and inventive flavours and lovely presentation. Have to go back to work my way through the menu!10/03/2013 00:00:00Made in Camden at the RoundhouseThree of us ate the weekend brunch on Sunday 10 March. The food was good - my companions had the open chorizo sandwich and I had egg with chickpeas. There's no dessert menu as such so we were probably a bit greedy to follow with pancakes but we did ... Two of us had been there for Sunday brunch before and food and service are always very good. Lively ambience generated by mostly young diners, but no annoying background music. Cocktails are listed on the menu but beer and wine are also available. Definitely worth visiting but booking recommended.10/03/2013 00:00:00perfect for meeting and eatingWe were going to a concert at The Roundhouse so met up in Made in Camden. This was the first time we had been here and found the staff friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We shared a meze to start and our mains were the pork belly, venison burger and lamb meatballs. We had Camden beer, wine and cocktails, all very tasty. We werent rushed and the restaurant was lively with music, which was great. It made the night out rather special. It's not cheap but probably what you would expect to pay in London. I would go again...08/03/2013 00:00:00good, innovative foodi have been to this restaurant on a number of occassions and it never disappoints. the food is well priced, the menu changes frequently and is always tasty. it is innovative cuisine but not in such a way that the innovation takes precedent over the actual taste. service is excellent, friendly and efficient. atmosphere is nothing special but if it's busy, there is a decent buzz and the lighting is good. i would recommend this place strongly if you're into your food but dont want to break the bank.22/02/2013 00:00:00Great value, great foodthe food is lovely, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was easy going and friendly. I would recommend the hake tempura and the pork belly, both delicious. Will definately go again the next time we visit London.21/02/2013 00:00:00I had pre-theatre supper atI had pre-theatre supper at Made in Camden with my partner and his son before seeing the current Roundhouse show. The food was very good and the pre-theatre offer of a main course, side and glass of house wine for £14 is excellent value. The staff were very accommodating when three people turned up for a booking for 2 but despite the short set menu our food was very slow in emerging from the kitchen, leaving us just ten minutes to eat before the show started. I'd eat here again if going to Roundhouse but it's not worth a special trip unless you're local. The bar attached to the restaurant, open after performances, is excellent and they make a mean gin and tonic,15/02/2013 00:00:00Looks - Flavour & ValueAn excellent set meal before the show. A good range of dishes. Very well presented, awesome flavours zinging through venison burger, subtle flavours enhancing the hake and the veggie options. The fries were to-die-for!!
We topped up the menu with desserts from the main selections.
A good time was had by all.11/02/2013 00:00:00Great foodWe went before a show at the roundhouse - Excellent food we shared four dishes between us an had cocktails and pudding. Can definitely tell the ottolenghi influence delicious fresh and seasonal would go back!25/01/2013 16:00:00YumCame for a quick meal before a show at the Roundhouse.
Set menu was great value and food was delicious and came quickly.21/01/2013 16:00:00AmazingSeriously one of the best meals I've had. British style tapas with amazing imagination. Well done!16/01/2013 16:00:00Great place to eat pre/post theatreHad a great night. Food was lovely and we felt lucky to eat that well at the theatre!!15/01/2013 00:00:00Unexpectedly great food, weUnexpectedly great food, we went for a pre-show dinner at the Roundhouse, and loved it. The tempura mushrooms and pork belly were great, and so was the pumpkin with goats cheese and almonds, although we disagreed with the waiter who said it's meant to be served cold, when it arrived it was still warmish and it tasted MUCH better than cold.15/01/2013 00:00:00Great brunch spot!Particularly if there are a reasonable number of you and you all enjoy good food.12/01/2013 16:00:00Stunning food.Absolutely delicious food - really interesting flavours, textures and ingredients. And monthly changing, seasonal menu. Would eat there weekly if i could. Highly recommend it - and really hope they write a cook book very soon. And all their profits go to creative kids projects at the Roundhouse. Brilliant.11/01/2013 16:00:00YummySo impressed with Made in Camden, the food was fab. I took my boyfriend as a present and he LOVE it!10/01/2013 16:00:00I love the relaxed feel ofI love the relaxed feel of this place. Service was well-timed and friendly. The small portions were quite modest in size with the option to have a large portion for those with a healthy appetite. The younger members of the family didn't feel they had eaten enough but when they were 'moshing' at the gig later, they were glad they hadn't had the 'large' portions.15/12/2012 16:00:00Wonderful experience greatWonderful experience great range of small plate sto share and very friendly helpful staff24/10/2012 00:00:00Really enjoyed the brunchReally enjoyed the brunch here. The menu has a varied selection of unusual dishes which elevates it above the standard camden fare. I had the courgette fritters which were excellent and my companion had an equally excellent chorizo dish. Huge portions too!
The ambience lacked a little as we were on a table towards the back, it felt pleasantly spacious though and we weren't rushed at all.02/09/2012 00:00:00Four of us ate a late SundayFour of us ate a late Sunday brunch at Made in Camden on the first day of BST. There was a good selection of dishes - we particularly enjoyed the baked eggs and the sweet crepes. Extensive wine list and a range of soft drinks (but no freshly squeezed orange juice, the breakfast staple). Service was friendly and prompt. It was our first visit and we'll go again.25/03/2012 00:00:00This was my second visit toThis was my second visit to Made I Cmden at the Roundhouse and it is so refreshing to find a restaurant in venue/theatre space that is actually good and not over priced!!
I would actually go here even if I wasn't going to see something. The staff are friendly, the service is good and the food is fresh and full of flavour.09/01/2012 16:00:00
