Juniper DiningLovely stuffGreat seafood. Probably the best dining experience I've had around the area. Definately will be back!17/05/2013 00:00:00The best seafood in LondonI love seafood but in the past 5 years living in London i've found it to be somewhat of a lottery when ordering fish dishes in restaurants as to how fresh the fish is. Not so here and having dined here 5/6 times now, the quality and freshness of the seafood dishes has alway stood out and a must for all seafood lovers.03/05/2013 00:00:00A great addition for HighburyJuniper was booked for a work business/social dinner and my colleagues who had not eaten there before were all very impressed, even though Arsenal were playing at home and transport links were slightly more difficult than usual. If you have a group of up to 10, there is a great area that is a little more private, but still part of the main dining room so retaining the atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole. Food is seasonal, good quality, unfussy, often locally sourced. This place is a great asset for locals in Highbury, and if you're not local still worth a visit.16/04/2013 00:00:00At booking I had specificallyAt booking I had specifically asked for chicken to be included in the children's menu and one of the party was vegetarian who doesn't like cheese. Juniper dining were very accomadating and the food was excellent.12/04/2013 00:00:00Top Quality and Fantastic ValueI had an excellent 3 course dinner last night for 2 at Juniper Dining. The fixed price menu cost just £62 including an excellent bottle of Merlot and service. The waiter was quietly efficient and polite. The background music modern and interesting but not overwhelming (Massive Attack, etc.) The understated dining room was beautiful and well-balanced. The food was very very good. Top quality ingredients accurately cooked and in imaginatively constructed dishes. The menu changes daily and contains a lot of fresh fish.
I do not think I have had a better meal at this price! Really very very good. Juniper Dining is well worth a visit.13/03/2013 00:00:00Highbury specialFabulous menu, meal, wine and service was great and prompt. Faultless execution and the restaurant was packed...on a Tuesday night. Speaks volumes !12/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic DinnerWe went here on Saturday evening after seeing good reviews. Dont think you would really think much of it if you were to walk past but it really was some of the best food we have ever had. I am allergic to quite a few things and can difficult to eat out but they were great at checking/adapting the menu to suit & made me feel very confident that what I was getting was free from. I had the lamb & my boyfriend had the fish stew & both were great! Will certainly be going back again. If I had to be really picky I would say the table was a little on the small side and felt a bit closed in but certainly did not effect the dinner.09/03/2013 00:00:00Tasty luscious foodWe went to Juniper Dining to celebrate and by the end the songwriter-producer who was the centre of our celebration said 'this must be one of the best restaurants in London' and it is. Just not everyone knows it yet The food is especially delicious for meat and fish eaters but vegetarian delicacy with a little notice. All seems to be very fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are attentive but not intrusive. The music worked well for us as we were celebrating the release of Lost in You and they let us play it ...everyone else seemed content with it too. The desserts were too tempting and the carrot and sage soup blissful, and the wine list reasonably priced and excellent quality. We will be back.08/03/2013 00:00:00Neighbourhood GemI love this place, I have frequently been for brunch but this was the first time I dined for dinner. Great food with a healthy fresh menu (I don't eat red meat so can struggle in some places). Food is great, wine list is superb for such a small restaurant and the service is always very helpful and friendly.08/03/2013 00:00:00Consistently fabulousThe best food, friendly efficient service, this place NEVER FAILS despite being very busy on a Friday night. Love it!08/03/2013 00:00:00An excellent local retaurantWe have visited Juniper Dining half a dozen times over the space of a couple of years and have never been disappointed; we would go more often, were it not for the distance from our home in NW3. The menu has a wide choice of dishes, carefully prepared with high quality British ingredients and the service is impeccable, while informal and friendly. Juniper Dining makes a great effort to please its customers and is highly recommended.06/03/2013 00:00:00Great menu, all freshly preparedAs always, the food at Juniper never fails to delight. The fish is outstanding, and the lemon tart delicious. All at very reasonable prices, especially with the mid-week special deal. Don't miss it.26/02/2013 00:00:003rd (4th?) visit didn't disappointAnother super meal at this hidden away local gem. Top quality food - I had seared scallops for starter and haddock for main, - and beautifully fresh chilled wine. If you're considering eating here, you won't be disappointed!26/01/2013 00:00:00my favourite restaurant andmy favourite restaurant and well worth a trip outside the circle line. it seems to get better every time I go.22/01/2013 16:00:00Juniper DiningA charming little local restaurant. Great food, nice ambience, generous portions, polite and unobtrusive service, good value. A Highbury gem.18/01/2013 16:00:00A real gem!Our first visit to Juniper and I can't believe it has taken us this long to find it. An excellent meal, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the jerk chicken and my husband the salt baked sea bass, which he raved about. Attentive service. We will definitely be returning soon.17/01/2013 16:00:00Best FLRWe have brought friends and relations (some of whom can be a bit fussy!) to Juniper on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Service is unfailingly courteous and solicitous and the food is superb, especially the fish dishes. They even put a candle on my mother's pudding when they realised it was her birthday. It is certainly our favourite local restaurant and we recommend it wholeheartedly for its consistent quality and lack of pretension.10/01/2013 16:00:00Juniper dining-consistently goodWe always eat well at Juniper. From dinners for two, to social meals and even once a table for 20 people for a special birthday, it always works very well. Fish is his speciality and currently there is also a Thai theme which is brilliant. .Rob cooks with vegetarians in mind most successfully and also knows all about wheat intolerances.
A splendid local restuarant -we are delighted with Juniper.19/12/2012 16:00:00Juniper is a gemA great find hidden away in Highbury Barn. Excellent seafood and meat (a very fine pork belly), exemplary presentation and good value for the quality of the food.14/12/2012 16:00:00Still my fave in London!Simply the best food in a gorgeous gem of a restaurant in highbury. The fishermans stew is to die for. My friend, on her first visit, said her muscles were the best she'd ever had. Just love this place. Go!28/09/2012 00:00:00My partner and I have beenMy partner and I have been to Juniper Dining previouly as we enjoy the Sunday roast. Yesterday was no exception.07/04/2012 16:00:00The reason why I come hereThe reason why I come here once a week is that the food is better than some Michelin starred restaurants I've visited (ok, it's a lilttle less fancy and delicate but there's nothing wrong with that). The best beef Sunday lunch in london, service is wonderful, the atmosphere charming, the prices just right. I just love Juniper.11/03/2012 00:00:00Another visit to Juniper DiningAnother visit to Juniper Dining in Highbury, and another pleasant meal. The food is above par for a local restaurant and the menu interesting with lots of fish. Good service and well selected wines.09/02/2012 16:00:00
