Originally a builders yard, Julie’s is named after interior designer Julie Hodgess, who conceived both Julie’s Restaurant and Bar in 1969. Owners Tim and Cathy Herring have continued to consult her ever since. Johnny Ekperigin joined the Herrings in the 1970's and has gone on to become Managing Partner of Julie’s and The Portobello Hotel.Continued
