It's always difficult finding a good indian and my friend and I (both of us are Indian) found the food full of flavour and oil free which tends to be a common trait with Indian restaurants so this was a pleasent surprise! This week I introduced a vegetarian colleague who delighted in sampling the vegetarian platter, whilst I had to order my favourite tilapia fish and tarka dhal. Suggest trying the mango lassi as a wonderful accompaniment to quick luches. There were 9 of us & we had the option of following a number of set menu or ordering a la carte! We did a mixture. The food was plentiful, filling, tasty, spicy & delicious.
The service is always fabulous here. Staff are attentive, helped take group photos for us. Patiently helped everyone with menu choices. We ended up keeping our table for 3 hours - not a problem.
Might be nice to have a few drink deals for large groups but otherwise they serve cocktails, beer, wine or spirits!!!

Fabulous spicing and options for those who don't like their food too hot. Great for dinner in the winter after a day of shopping or for a relaxed and fun night out with a group of friends. Cocktails are lovely, but can make the bill a bit of a shock if you get carried away. Food is very reasonably priced for the quality. The service was very good and conscientious, the food was divine. Without the Taste card would have been fairly priced (not ridiculous but not cheap!) With the Taste card total bargain. I love indian food but often find huge dishes of curry overwhelming so the 'tapas' portions here are perfect, a good variety of tastes and textures and though it wasn't so much food that we had to leave lots as is often the case with indian, we were more than satisfied. So, not expecting much and the redemption menu did on the face of it seem a bit limited.
