Homage at The Waldorf HiltonA fabulous evening!I visited with 3 friends after a matinee performance of Top Hat next-door! The service was exemplary - from the initial welcome through to the waiting staff - we certainly weren't made to feel that we were on a 'discounted option'. There was a good range of choice on the TopTable £26 menu and the glass of prosecco was lovely. The food tasted very good and was beautifully presented. We had the guinea fowl which was delicious. Our lovely waiter even had Happy Birthday iced on my dessert plate when he overheard it was a special occasion! We arrived just before 6pm and were one of the first but the restaurant was full by the time we left. I had lemon chicken and my mum had the lamb. Our first time there and what a grand place it is! The service was very good, attentive without being over the top. The quality of the starter and main courses was excellent - inventive mixtures of tastes and good basic house wine which was very drinkable.
