  The food was lovely - we had the 9 course tasting menu - and each dish was delicious. I would recommend it for special occasions and for outdoor dining where you can sit around the lake and watch the swans. A plate was brought out with chocolate piping wishing us a happy anniversary with some delicious chocolates on it for us! One thing to note is that the prices on the menu are without VAT so prepare yourself for the extra charge at the bottom of the bill. Also service is added on at 20 per cent. Some guests at another table complained about the format of the bill and demanded the service charge be taken off and left to their discretion, which the restaurant duly did. Overall it was a lovely evening and we will definitely go back!...More

  This is a good 'old fashioned' restaurant with impeccable service, fabulous food -we didn't leave feeling over full but we certainly weren't hungry. Lunch is particularly good value with really nice touches like homemade butter. We couldn't fault it....More
