Heliot Restaurant, Lounge & BarVery goodHi I took my friend for a birthday treat , and I was very happy I asked for a certain table and when we arrived I got exactly what I asked for. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing , we had a fantastic evening and was made to feel very welcome . I would say only one small negative they need steak knifes. That style only negative I have overall fantastic and I we will be booking very soon .

You could easily walk past the Hippodrome in hustle and bustle of Leicester Square. All staff were polite throughout our time there and could not be more helpful. The casino was calm but busy, I felt comfortable wandering around with my children (over 18's!) browsing at the different tables. When we sat down to dine the service was second to none, the food excellent, the wine fantastic and the toilets were perfect - especially the GHD straighteners in the ladies! We spent an hour in the casino after dinner.

The ambience was excellent and the waitress turned off the speaker above our heads whilst we were eating. The menu was good and the food even better. The menu catered for all tastes and values. The wine list was varied and the waiter made sure our glasses where kept topped up with a very good white wine.

Neednt have worred as we really enjoyed our evening - the staff were very attentative (& handsome!), the food delicious, the view overlooking the casino floor was extremely entertaining. We were given a guided tour of the whole building....an interesting experience and gave great ideas for venue hire. Will probably try this out. Thanks to the staff Bernard and Brian in particular. We will be back!21/03/2013 00:00:00The Fillet Steak: Amazing.Myself and some friends went to the Heliot Restaurant for dinner before a long night's gambling. I had the fillet steak. The service staff made one tiny error in not bringing me my peppercorn sauce, which they rectified when asked. Other than that, perfect.
And as for the steak. Wow. Quite possible the best I've ever had. And I'm not one of those people that says that lightly. Its odd walking through casino but from moment we found restaurant We were greeted by friendliest smiliest hostess who welcomed us like old friends,from then the service frommaitre d +our waiter were perfect,unobtrusive,professional with a bit of humour,all in all perfect balance,food itself was verygood tasted fresh beautifully presented and good choice,ambience was strange to start but after a while it added to experience.would recommend heliot,isn't Michelin star restaurant but is a very good place to eat nice food with amazing service at verygood price.Give it a try you might be surprised we were05/01/2013 16:00:00Great dinner at HeliotTerrific venue, overlooking the tables in the casino. As it is above the casino at the Hippodrome, you can watch roulette and blackjack whilst you eat. Excellent food and excellent service. The experience was fabulous from the warm welcome to the young waitress who couldn't do enough for us. The table was even moved around so we could both watch the gambling floor. The quality of the food was superb and the rose champagne went down a treat.
