HashiGreat restaurantI went with my wife for her birthday, choosing this restaurant following reading the many positive reviews on toptable. And the reviews were not wrong. Food was fantastic: fresh and tasty. Staff were very helpful and willing to provide advice when sought. And the price was reasonable considering the quality of food. I definitely will be looking to go back there.03/05/2013 00:00:00Hidden gemExcellent food, attentive and fast food service. Highest rating I have ever gave.29/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic sushiWe had a fantastic meal at Hashi last week. All of the food was delicious. The sushi particularly was outstanding - very fresh and light - the best -we've ever had. The service was also very good - some staff didn't have fantastic English but everyone seemed to genuinely want you to have a good evening. Highly recommended.22/03/2013 00:00:00Best dishes: black cod andBest dishes: black cod and crunchy roll. Attentive service. Good quality sashimi. the staff are friendly, food is amazing and great setting!01/03/2013 00:00:00Very good quality SashimiIt is always very difficult to find fresh sashimi in this side of London and Hashi is a great find quietly tucked away in Raynes Park. I have already eaten there a few times and never failed to impress me on all occasions. Always fresh sashimi and other dishes are all very good quality and value. I would recommend this place if you want good Japanese food.01/03/2013 00:00:00Great find !Can't believe its in raynes park ! Great food and full of Japanese people which is a good sign24/02/2013 00:00:00Hidden gem in Raynes ParkMy husband and I are fanatic about sushi. Hashi offers very nice sushi and fresh sashimi. The fatty tuna melted in our mouth and it was the best we have had in England so far.09/02/2013 00:00:00half the price of zuma ,novikov, half the price of zuma ,novikov, et al but the food every bit as good & the service better....slightly odd location & decor more functional than cool but worth the vist every time.....since i have been reviewing (6 visits in last 18 months) i have noticed more difficult to get table so book early25/01/2013 16:00:00FantasticOnce again, a fantastic meal at Hashi. The soft shelled crab is out of this world, and the black cod sublime. A real hidden gem in the middle of Raynes Park.15/01/2013 16:00:00Hidden gem...well a hidden gem to us, anyway. Travelled a few miles to Hashi after reading reviews, and we were not disappointed. Absolutely excellent food and service. Will certainly return04/01/2013 16:00:00Good quality Japanese foodModern touches to the interior of the restaurant. I can see alot of effort has been put into the decoration of the place. Very fresh sashimi, good sushi and makis, expect London price but quality is worth the money. Tempura was nice and crispy and Korea meh-woon tang was top notch. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to try high quality Japanese food locally!04/01/2013 16:00:00our favorite restaurantthey might be Korean, but the food is 100% classic Japanese.30/12/2012 16:00:00Wow wow wowNot only was this the best service we've ever had, it was by far the best Japanese culinary art on plate!!!!
Thinking of moving our house to be closer to the place!!!29/12/2012 16:00:00Great Japanese FoodThe food at Hashi is outstanding. We had the 16 piece luxury sushi nigiri set, followed by steamed rice, nori katsu, kimchi and seafood skewers. The service was great and they let you take your own wine for a reasonable corking fee.
On a previous occasion I have also had their tempura udon soup, which is also very good! I would recommend Hashi to sushi lovers and also to those who would like to try sushi for the first time - you will be in safe hands :)
On a final note, the food is a little pricey; however, in my opinion it is worth every penny!27/12/2012 16:00:00Great Sushie!Absolutely fantastic as usual. Highly recommend. Sashimi too expensive16/09/2012 00:00:00Great Local JananeseLove Hashi, food is fantastic and so fresh. Not cheap but well worth it. The only complaint I have is that the sashimi is far too small for the price. Would highly recommend.15/09/2012 00:00:00Book on a Saturday....It seems unusual that a restaurant in a quiet leafy side street in SW20 can be as busy as Hashi is, however on a Saturday night, you really have to book (got turned away once with no booking, and this weekend could only squeeze in at 8.30 after booking during the day). I have been several times and love this place: sleek, intimate, wonderfully friendly staff, superb food and basically a little gem. The teriyaki beef was outstanding, and the sushi is presented so beautifully you want to photograph it. I don't know why I am raving about it so much - I may find it more difficult to book next time! The wine list is also very resonable.30/06/2012 00:00:00Should go more....I don't go to Hashi often enough, I actually live in the next street and there's really no excuse. The welcome is always friendly and helpful, the food excellent and menu quite varied. The wine list is also very reasonable. I love this little place and I highly recommend - such fresh food and quality ingredients, they really should open up some more sister restaurants. Would compete well in the West End. It's not exactly cheap of course, but you get what you pay for...having said that we had a meal for two and a bottle of wine for £60, which isn't at all bad really.13/06/2012 00:00:00Hashi is always great!Third time I have written this review, because we go there all the time as it is the best japanese restaurant in SW london!!11/05/2012 16:00:00Hashi, Raynes Park - foodHashi, Raynes Park - food was outstanding, the portions are fairly small and the dishes are quite expensive but you won't be disappointed. Service on the other hand was a bit disappointing given the high prices and obligatory 10% I would of expected better.04/05/2012 16:00:00Hashi is always great!Hashi is the best japanese restuarant in the south west london! great value, fresh sushi and friendly service!30/03/2012 16:00:00Hashi is always great!Hashi is the best japanese restuarant in the south west london! great value, fresh sushi and friendly service!09/03/2012 16:00:00Hashi is my local place forHashi is my local place for random evening dinners, as always excellent food and service.03/03/2012 00:00:00
