The wine was delicious, we are currently hunting down the stockist so we can enjoy the wine at home and a vast amount to choose from (oh and the cocktails too). Look at your clientele and you will see that most are grown up people and not teenagers .. In Argentina there is lots of lovely music;why not some slow Tango or folk/country music? We ordered our steaks medium-rare and medium, and that is how they came. Chips and mushroom side orders were good too. i thought my coconut tart to follow was absolutely delicious, but my husband was not so enamoured with his pancakes 'nothing special'. We thought the wine list was 'a bit naughty', the first few pages were all very expensive wines, and you had to look very hard towards the back of the menu to find some that were more reasonable. Our waitress Maria really gave us her expert and first class service and we were not disappointed. From choosing the right steak to trying dessert wine for the first time, she was brilliant. However, I mist say I was a tad disappointed with my steak. Having ordered the marinated steak, medium rare, this ended up being served medium. I managed to eat only half of it and was a little let down.

The ultra cool surroundings, low lighting levels and music are all just right. You arrive to a welcoming committee straight off the catwalk, each and every team member perfectly preened, presented, and attractive. Once at our table we were handed over to what was simply one of the best food and beverage experts ever. Sharing knowledge about the wine, we let him choose for us, and may I say, it was one of the most delicious wines I have tasted. Levi "our friend" brought over the different cuts of meat for a type of show and tell! We chose, we ate and went to heaven!!

Their lomo steak is amazing. It was a 400g steak and I said it was too big. They offered it cut it in half so i could take the half home. so that was really nice and I did! I actually feel their steak is yummier than Hawksmoor. The black pepper corn sauce compliments the steak perfectly. Dommage que l'addition soit si élevée.31/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic end to a dayWe had a special day out on Saturday with breakfast at Simpsons, wedding ring shopping, cocktails at Paramount Centre-point, and then a matinee performance of Singing in the rain. All this was topped off by dinning at Gaucho's in Piccadilly.
We arrived early but this was no problem, and this set the tone for the evening, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
They were all very courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Our waitress Maria was very knowledgable about all we asked and had great suggestions for wines with meals. The waiter who also attended our table (sorry did not catch his name) was also very professional.
