Having visited before I knew the food would be excellent and is was. The restaurant itself is one of the older original buildings in Pinner with low ceilinged cosiness which lends to its ambience. We had the three course menu at £33.50 a head which in itself is very good value for food of this standard. There was extensive choice & special offers like a 3 course set menu for £15 & 25% off so it was fantastic value for money. We shared a seafood risotto which was gorgeous. We then both had Pork Belly with a cider Jus with a side veg (included) which had the most fantastic flavours. We finished our meal with the most DEVINE desserts of a white chocolate Beverois & a milk chocolate tart - Absolutely Delicious. I recommend Friends highly as the best 'Foodie restaurant' in Pinner. Owing to a slight mistake (on my part) when making the booking, the restaurant had no notice that two members of our group were vegetarians with specific dietary requirements. The kitchen and hosting staff were quick to come up with some delicious off-menu options, and an excellent experience was had by all. There was an extensive wine menu on offer and delicious coffee and desserts rounded off a very enjoyable meal. The restaurant is in a quaint little building in Pinner, with good parking and transport connections. I had succulent scallops with a delicious black pudding salad to start. I tasted the soup which was heavenly. My main course of seared salmon with beetroot mash contained a generous perfectly cooked salmon fillet and the mash was velvety red, peppery and delicious. Others had the rosti veggie option which was declared delicious, and the duck dish which could not have been bettered. Puddings were good. We were offered our remaining half bottle of wine to take away without asking.
