Foxtrot OscarGreat lunch before RHS ChelseaClose to the Royal Hospital this is a top venue for lunch prior to wandering amongst the blooms of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show21/05/2013 00:00:00Great ServiceWe went to Foxtrot Oscar to celebrate the US Mother's Day while we were in London. The service was great and everyone had an outstanding time. Our server went out of her way to make sure my mom felt special.12/05/2013 00:00:00Small but perfectly formedThe restaurant was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but actually it adds to its charm and ambiance. The food and wine choice was varied and really well priced. Portion size was spot on and desert was an absolute must! Would definitely go again for a special occasion or a romantic dinner date.11/05/2013 00:00:00Anniversary mealTook my partner here for our anniversary meal and we both had a fantastic time. Service was first class, without being intrusive. The food was delicious and the wine superb, though I was driving, so only had a sip. Great night and I will be going again.11/05/2013 00:00:00Good food, good service, good valueI dined with family for a birthday recently. The staff were helpful, accommodating but not over the top and in your way. There was a good selection on the menu, the food is always interesting but retain some well known dishes such as cheese burger. We happened to mention that we were there for a birthday just before leaving and our wonderful waitress rushed to the kitchen (wothout the birthday girl knowing) and prepared a birthday plate with delicious chocolates! It wasn't my first visit to Foxtrot Oscar and it certainly won't be my last.11/05/2013 00:00:00Nice little bijou restaurantOnly when I was in front of the door did I realise that this was a Gordon Ramsay! This little place is a few streets away from Kings Road where I was planning to go shopping but I didn't want to eat in a chain. I had lunch with a colleague of mine. The staff was discreet but at hand, the food was delicious (we had gnocchi with peas and split beans and a trifle/panacotta on the special menu) and portions adequate. There is nothing special about the atmosphere but it's very pleasant and surprisingly good value!09/05/2013 00:00:00In from BostonMy wife and I were vacationing in London and looking for a top notch "celebrity" dining experience. The food at Foxtrot Oscar was wonderful: unpretentious, filling, and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the environment was warm and inviting,05/05/2013 00:00:00Enjoyed a great Sunday lunchEnjoyed a great Sunday lunch - from the Bellinis to start all the way to the Sticky Toffee puddings.05/05/2013 00:00:00Great DinnerOutstanding service.
I loved the spring pea soup: outstanding flavour.
The cheeseburger for the kids was a very good choice and it was cooked perfectly as requested. Great quality meat.
The rest of our dinner very good
Enjoyable experience in a relaxed atmosphere, good place to go in couple or in group.
We were all delighted and would like to repeat the experience02/05/2013 00:00:00Foxtrot Oscar brillaintHad a weekend in London to celebrate a 30th birthday and our final treat was Sunday lunch at foxtrot Oscar.
Service was genuinely friendly & polite from our Australian waitress. We had 3 courses along with wine recommended by the waitress and was spot on and a glass of chapel down finished our weekend off perfectly !28/04/2013 00:00:00A great find in Chelseamy wife and I had our first meal in London here on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is very interesting. We had a number of small plates with a British flavor to them. The waitstaff were very helpful in picking out the plates we sampled and all were tasty. All in all a unique and satisfying experience.28/04/2013 00:00:00Small gem with friendly staffOn our yearly family trip to London we picked Foxtrot Oscar for our Friday night dinner. This was our third visits to a restaurant in the Gordon Ramsey empire and as usual the service and food was excellent. In particular the meal the kitchen created for our 4 year son was an absolute hit: who would have imagered that you could find English crocodile on the meny?26/04/2013 00:00:00I went to Foxtrot Oscar beforeI went to Foxtrot Oscar before seeing a play in Victoria. Food and service was superb.20/04/2013 00:00:00Fabulous neighbourhood style bistroWe had a wonderful dinner here - all the meals were excellent-wonderful flavours and the service mostly good. Would love to come back again with my significant other. I loved every bite of it.18/04/2013 00:00:00FOXTROT OSCARAn intimate little bistro type restaurant. Reasonably priced 2 and 3 course set price menu. Food good, waitress friendly. Quite small so tables a bit close together, but still worth a visit if you are local.17/04/2013 00:00:00Delicious and reasonable priceCame for lunch with my sister to celebrate her engagement. We had the lunchtime deal 2 courses for £18. Would highly recommend the broad bean and feta salad.06/04/2013 00:00:00Amazingly Cosy and Romantic settingPerfection is the other name of Gordon Ramsay. The place is amazing. Service, food, ambience, setting, staff everything was just perfect. Infact, more than perfect. Extremely friendly staff, we had a good banter with the service people and Portoguese Manager. It was as perfect an evening as one can hope for.30/03/2013 00:00:00Nice food at a resonable priceInitmate setting. Food was good not wow but well worth the value. £25 for 3 courses plus a drink. Would be a nice place for a romantic meal.30/03/2013 00:00:00Exceeded expectationsWe went to Foxtrot Oscar with the London Restaurant deal to celebrate a birthday. Great value and excellent food. The best part were the staff, attentive without being intrusive and friendly, not stuffy. Very impressed and it made our evening. The food choices with the deal were varied, the dessert was fantastic! Highly recommend, and we will go again.28/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic!Great menu, wonderful environment and fantastic quality. Fantastic ingredients and a lovely touch of class. It was invigorating to go somewhere that offered both formal and informal dining in a warm welcome environment focussing on the finer details but not over priced. Fantastic value and I will definitely go back!24/03/2013 00:00:00Set menu joyI dined on the back of the London Restaurant Fortnight and benefited from 3 course menu for £25. The options were good and I enjoyed an inclusive glass of wine. Although as I cast my eyes down both the set menu and the main menu I was pleasantly surprised by the agreeable prices of each dish.
Thoroughly enjoyed my evening.23/03/2013 00:00:00We recently enjoyed dinnerWe recently enjoyed dinner at FO and seeing a Top Table deal were keen to introduce some friends. They weren't disappointed. Warm welcome and cosy atmosphere. The set menu was a good sampler of the full menu. Terrine and mushroom soups to start, followed by Sole, tagliatelle, FO burger. Cheesecake, pecan pie and brownie to finish entertained by a delightful conversation with the very capable maître d’23/03/2013 00:00:00Family are Gordon Ramsay fans!We were in London for a few days and my husband & daughter are huge fans. We chose Foxtrot Oscar because of the menu. We had lunch there. Although my daughter ordered the cheeseburger and when it came she had to send it back because it wasn't cooked quite enough, they took care of it immediately, cooked her a new one and then didn't charge us for her meal. The service was exemplary!20/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic gastronomyThe dinner at Foxtrot Oscar was a real treat; the food was excellent, the menu options eclectic and we truly enjoyed savoring the creations offered. Special touches, like the egg atop the Caesar salad and the delicate flavorings of the foie gras, enhance the culinary experience.
Service was good, particularly taking into account the close quarters of the restaurant. Although the close spaces between tables, the waiters did a great job navigating through and were always attentive.18/03/2013 00:00:00Top DrawerCouldn't fault this place, amazing food, great service and good value. Visited for lunch on rainy March Monday and it brightened our day. Go visit NOW. That is all.18/03/2013 00:00:00Thank you for making my husband'sThank you for making my husband's birthday so special a lovely lunch great service, qualify food16/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic atmosphereI surprised my boyfriend with a reservation at the Foxtrot Oscar for his birthday. It was very easy to find from Sloane Square, just keep walking down the long road! The restaurant is small however not cramp and adds to the intimate atmosphere. The staff were very attentive but not over the top. The food was very good and decent size portions! We were very pleased with the whole experience and would come back again.16/03/2013 00:00:00Great lunchBooked a last minute lunch for 2 on a saturday afternoon. Took advantage of the £15 for 2 courses ... great value for the area. First to arrive at 12 noon but the place soon filled up. Food was innovative e.g. marrowbone starter and tasty e.g the pan fried dover sole.09/03/2013 00:00:00Upper class service at great pricesAn excellent and down to earth restaurant where you can get a dash of exuberance without the Michelin prices.02/03/2013 00:00:00Worth a visitFood was excellent, the staff and especially the Maitre d' were of the highest standard - taking care to make every aspect of our evening special.02/03/2013 00:00:00A Birthday treatAs a Birthday surprise I treated my partner to lunch at Foxtrot Oscar.
On arrival our welcome was warm and friendly and we were shown to our table immediately. sipping on delicious bellini's whist we made our choices for food and drink, there was lots of choice, with good value prices ranging from 'very affordable'' to 'treat'. Our food was amazing opting for the steak to share for main which melted in your mouth. We had ordered champagne ( under £50 a bottle!) and when asked if we were celebrating anything special,Sam was presented with a plate with hand made truffles on and Happy Birthday' written in chocolate. Wonderful and thoughtful touch to the end of our delicious meal.
FANTASTIC02/03/2013 00:00:00Good place out of the tourist areaLiving in London for some time now we are more and more finding good value-for-money restaurants away from the tourist areas. And F.O. is definitly top of our list. Quit and intimate while supplying very good food and service is key here.
It sticks well out over some other G. Ramsey linked places.01/03/2013 00:00:00LunchOn a silent thursday my little entourage enjoyed tasty two course lunch. Soup (mushroom) was probably best ever that I´ve tasted and pasta was cooked into perfection with rich flavours. Staff was super friendly and service was excellent.28/02/2013 00:00:00Perfect!This restaurant certainly doesn't disappoint. The food was fabulous and perfectly presented. The staff were all charming and not at all intrusive.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, also quite intimate with subtle decor.
It was my birthday and my dessert was served with a plate piped with "happy birthday", some truffles and a candle. The lights were dimmed and everyone sang happy birthday to me. It really made me feel special.
I would definitely recommend foxtrot oscar for a special occasion or treat. There is also a daily special menu 2 courses for £15 or 3 for £20 before 7pm, which would be ideal for those on a budget meaning everyone can enjoy this fine dining experience.
Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and would definitely revisit.16/02/2013 00:00:00FabulosoUn restaurante estupendo.
La hamburguesa esta muy buena.
Muy recomendable.15/02/2013 00:00:00Good value. The lunch SetGood value. The lunch Set Menu was very nice and the price very reasonable considering you are eating at one of Ramsays' restaurants. Excellent service. Great for preheater lunch.14/02/2013 00:00:00Size doesn't matter! The tables were quite close to each other but we were very glad to get a table as it was Valentine's.The restaurant is quite cosy in size compared to other Gordon Ramsay's restaurants and we thought the location was a bit strange, ie next door to Tesco Express. However, the food was both attractive and delicious and we were made to feel welcome. We enjoyed the evening very much and would definitely return to this restaurant.14/02/2013 00:00:00Good food, fantastic serviceVisited here on a Wednesday evening. Only 3 tables occupied. Utilised the daily offers menu which is extremely good value at 2/3 courses for £15/£20. Starter of bone marrow and pork terrine a little bland but mains of cheeseburger and tagliatelle was delicious. The burger is amazing. Deserts of sticky toffee pudding and lemon cheesecake equally good. The service was good, with the head waiter being extremely charming and good with small details. At no point did we feel judged for utilising the offer menu & he actuallyade the evening special.13/02/2013 00:00:00one of our favouritesFO is a great little place, food is fantastic and service is outstanding.10/02/2013 00:00:00FOThe atmosphere here was extremely friendly, to the extent the lights go out and everyone sings happy birthday for other diners! It was the perfect place for a relaxed but special Saturday night dinner, although as it's a small menu there are inevitably restrictions for vegetarians. The service was fantastic though, and we had a really good bottle of Pinot Noir to accompany our meal. Overall, we knew it was going to cost a bit and the food wasn't the best I've ever had, but I would go back and recommend it as the perfect place for a chilled out, good dining experience.09/02/2013 00:00:00A great dinnerWe went for a dinner on a saturday evening. I initially thought the menu was a little limited, but the food was outstanding quality, I would recommend the Burger, it was possibly the best Burger and chips that I have ever eaten! We will be booking up again and returning again next time we are in London!31/01/2013 16:00:00Very pleasant mealI took my wife to FO for her 40th birthday. Food was really good, I had the burger which was one of the best I've had. I'm not a dessert person, but the Sticky Toffee pudding was great!
We mentioned in passing that it was my wife's birthday, and received a lovely decorated plate with a couple of Truffles at the end of the meal. Will be sure to return to sample the other dishes that are on offer.30/01/2013 00:00:00Quality food from an exceptionallyQuality food from an exceptionally priced three course set menu. Food was prompt with wonderful, personable table service. Ambience initially felt a little quiet and reserved, but this soon changed as tables began to fill. Will visit again!25/01/2013 16:00:00Lovely foodI took my wife for lunch at Foxtrot Oscar and it didn't disappoint. We ate from the GR2013 menu and although they had changed the menu slightly from what was advertised on the web, they accommodated our original menu choices. Each course was lovely and so full of flavour. I am truly a Ramsay fan; both restaurants and books.25/01/2013 16:00:00Help for HeroesWent to Foxtrot Oscar on a Saturday night during their Help for Heroes charity promotion. Restaurant was very busy and the staff were running around a little more than when we've been before - but not in any way that affected the meal badly. Great food.25/01/2013 16:00:00We dined on the set menu whichWe dined on the set menu which was available in January. It was very good value and the burger in particular was delicious. The service was absolutely outstanding.24/01/2013 16:00:00Great food awesome serviceA fabulous meal, and outstanding welcoming and attentive service,
We walked in , the head waiter...( sorry matradee may be more fitting ) was busy ... We waited no longer than two mins, he was very apologetic, and offered us two glasses of wine on he house.
He explained the menu to us , nothing to much trouble.
Whilst talking to us his concentration was all ours ....
A great meal. Awesome service five stars all round24/01/2013 16:00:00
