I decided to give this restaurant a try as it was my 30th birthday and I wanted to try somewhere new. I went with my patents and they were also very impressed with the food and the service. My mym and I went for the surf and turf with lobster, which was perfictly cooked and my dad went for the burger, we all had starters and puddings and were left feeling full which is unusual for my dad. I will certainly be back and ready to try more of the seafood they have to offer and of course the cocktails. The food and service are always good and this occasion was no exception. This time we both had the Aberdeen Angus Burgers which were juicy and cooked rare as we requested. Only downside was the very long wait for our meals and seeing diners who arrived after us - getting up to leave before us!

Firstly, we dived in with whitebait and aioli, and seared scallops: the former was a good example of a standard; the latter, though excellent in fennel and Pernod sauce, were disappontingly small compared with others I've had at the same price lately. The mains were good, rump steak cooked just right, the prawns juicy.
