Ferrari's Bexley Ratings and Reviews
Felt as we were in a 5* restaurant without the big prices!!!
Both my friend and I really enjoyed our meal.
Having a gluten free diet I found the waitress extremely helpful with her suggestions .The meal was delicious and will definitely be going again.
Are things sliding at Bexley's best eatery?
This is a unpretentious, good value, local Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food seems to be on the wane. This is particularly noticeable with the starters. The service is also not quite as responsive as it used to be. We shall visit again but are not as confident as we were of a really good meal.
We have been coming to Ferraris in Bexley for a couple of years now and each visit never fails to disappoint! I have had two large group bookings before and just the other week a birthday dinner with me and my husband no complaints whatsover just great food and service! This recent trip we ordered off the set menu and got more then we expected with presentation/taste/value/service! We have booked again to go in December! Great place highly recommended - Keep up the good work!!
Great place for lunch with friends
Members of my family have eaten here on a variety of occasions and accompanied by a variety of ages. I took a couple of friends for lunch. They hadn't been before but thoroughly enjoyed the set lunch in a friendly atmosphere where we didn't feel at a all rushed.
Went for a friend's birthday 5 of us in all and it was absolutely amazing staff always around and food waiting time was on point. Can't really say anything bad about this restaurant apart from highly recommending it to anyone. Thank you so much for a good night

The place is intimate with pleasant decor and waitresses. Good selection of food on A la Carte. Well thought out, presented and delicious food. I wanted to impress my guest who is a foody and Ferraris did not disappoint. I have had better Chianti ( I have had it twice in Ferraris and it has not improved so this is feedback.) I look forward to another date at Ferraris soon.
Girls night out
A midweek booking and a table for 11 ladies. The restaurant was already quite full and lively. The service was swift and helpful and our waiter quite charming. There was a set menu or a la crate and we chose a mixture of both. We all had a delightful time and would certainly revisit the restaurant on another occasion.
Sunday Lunch review
I have been to Ferrari's in Bexley many times before but not for Sunday Lunch . The cauliflower soup starter was delicious as was my dessert however the roast dinner was not as good. The portions at Ferrari's are never large but we were given two small slices of beef (beautifully cooked) and two roast potatoes which you couldn't call roasted. There were a few large tables surrounding us and we had difficulty in hearing each other . I will go to Ferrari's again but sadly not for Sunday lunch
The menu at Ferrari's Bexley isn't the most imaginative but the food is full of flavour and well cooked. The only gripe I had about the meal last night was that the main course arrived immediately after we finished our starters, which made the evening a bit short seeing as it was a birthday meal out. The allergen information on the menu is the best I've seen which is important to me as a coeliac.
Came as part of a small group for my daughter's birthday. Booking process online was easy. Had a phone call on the day to confirm the numbers. The whole experience couldn't be faulted. The service was polite and the food really good.
A good restaurant, well staffed and clea...
A good restaurant, well staffed and clean. The food is very good quality.........but as always, a slightly bigger helping (I am a man) would be good.
Always a nice place to eat at, evident from how hard it is to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night at late notice... Book in advance!
Excellent Family restaurant
Great service, good food what more could you want? Plenty of choice love coming back .
Four of us went to celebrate two birthdays. Ferrari's is a lovely restaurant in a very nice spot in the village. Sophisticated - but very friendly. And spotlessly clean. Staff very attentive - without being intrusive. We had the fixed price two course lunch which was great value at 9.50. Good choices and very tasty. I have been to this restaurant a few times and it never fails to deliver.
Another good night at Ferraris
As ever another great experience in Bexley. Welcome and service excellent as ever - understanding of any of our odd requests. Good great as ever - however the pork belly portion size has grown since we last selected it from the menu and we couldn't eat it all! Still good overall value.
Not as good as it used to be. Service on the slow side but food was nice
Not as good as it used to be..
I have been an occasional visitor to Ferraris over the last 5 years and have always found it to be excellent food and very busy hence a jovial atmosphere. This time I visited on a Bank Holiday and was surprised to find it relatively quiet. I found the food to be below it's usual standard on this visit and for that reason I am doubtful that we will retun.
Arrived a bit early for the meal but it was not a problem. Staff are lovely /helpful/always checking that everything was ok. We had a starter and a small main (may be small but it felt huge). Both courses were very good. As it was lunchtime, did not want a large meal... but we failed! Cannot wait to go back. Thank you
Good for group bookings or simply Sunday lunch
We've been to Ferrari's several times following several recommendations from friends and colleagues. We held a family get together at Ferrari's with over 20 people for which we had an area in the back of the restaurant, pre-booked menus from which people still had a choice of several dishes, incl. options for children. We've been here as a couple at one of the cozy tables in the front of the restaurant. And we've also visited with our parents for a nice Sunday lunch at a very good price. We were always satisfied with the quality of the food, ambience and service. The boys wouldn't mind draught lager which doesn't seem available; other than that no complaints. We'll definitely come again and recommend to our friends.
Very good meal, service and ambience......
Unfortunately can be noisy as there are no "fittings" to absorb the noise.
Birthday treat with the family
We went to Ferrari's for my birthday with our 2 sons. The food was very good with lovely starters and good choice of mains. Desserts were great too. We did feel it was a bit expensive for the amount of food we ate - approx £50 a head.
Outstanding value for money
Booked Ferrari's based on reviews on Tripadvisor and was not disappointed. Great Atmosphere, lovely service, you were left alone but they noticed when you needed something. Food was excellently presented and very fresh. I had to find something for a business evening meal and would definitely go back if I ever find myself in Bexley again.
Ferrari's , Bexley village
Ferrari's is our little treat once a month or more. Vey friendly and attentive staff. Fantastic steak cooked as you wish ( for me ) and delicious pasta (the wife ). Busy, though not too crowded, we have never felt "rushed" into ordering.
Food good shame about the rude waiter
On arrival I asked the manager about the kids eat free advert I'd seen in The Summer Sizzler booklet distributed by Bexley borough, he asked if I had a voucher code and I explained this was not required, he then told me that this offer had expired. When I got home I checked the booklet and it clearly stated that the deal was valid between 23 July - 7th September! So not impressed with the mangers lack of knowledge , giving me false information and causing me to pay for my children's meal when I shouldn't have had to. They do not have a children's menu and therefore do not recommend this restaurant as child friendly. Food was good and service ok at first, but we had to wait a long time for our dessert order to be taken. The restaurant was not at all busy and the waiters and Manager were fussing over a couple who seemed to be regulars to the restaurant. I tried to get the attention of a couple of the waiters but they were busy setting a table for this couple. My Mum eventually caught the attention of a waiter who promptly came over. My mum said we had had to wait a while to which the waiter said, "No you have not I have just given you a break between your main and dessert." This waiter was stern and rude, and my Mum told him he was very rude and should not speak to her in that manner and that we had waited longer than expected, to which he replied we had not and no apology for his manner. My mum spoke to the manager who stated that he was sorry and the fault laid with him to which my mum said no it was the waiters sole fault for being rude. He assured my mum he would speak to this waiter. Whilst my mum was talking to the manager the waiter in question was in ear shot and could hear what my mum was saying. He just looked at my mum with a smarmy grin. So I spent over £80 on a meal which whilst the food was enjoyable, resulted in my mother being upset. So doubt very much I will be making a return visit unless they changed their unprofessional staff.
Great food at reasonable prices
Had a meal here on a Saturday evening with family of 4 and was able to book the table 2 weeks in advance. I had a courtesy phone call the day before confirming the booking The service was very polite and attentative without being intrusive and the waiting time for our courses was just right. The Menu had something for everybody and the prices were very competitive. The food was very well presented - I would recommend the pan fried liver - delicious - and no onions!:-) Overall I would recommend this restaurant but not for an intimate romantic meal as it gets quite hectic and noises when full
Always a great experience
Have visited on merous occassions and it never disappoints. Great food and ambience. The Sunday Lunch is great value!
Relaxed and unhurried service
Food is lovely, service is always good and atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. I always enjoy time at Ferraris.
+ tasty food, portion size is about right, quick service, helpful and attentive stuff - no choice for vegetarian, not too many fish either, white table-cloth would be very beneficial
Excellent- some of the best food around.
We had 3 entirely different meals and every course of each one was delicious.. We have recently eaten in many upmarket restaurants due to family celebrations, and this one was easily up there with the best of them.
Great retaurant and great atmosphere.
We dined here with family for my husbands 40th birthday, and we all had a lovely afternoon, all of our meals were so tasty, and the children really enjoyed their pizza, although I would suggest that you invest in a children's menu, as it makes things a lot easier when ordering.
Always a winner!
I love eating at Ferrari's in Bexley, The staff are always polite and welcoming, the food is always great and the prices are never too high! They have a really good set menu on most evenings which is excellent value and the food doesn't suffer for it! I would go to Ferraris' again and again!
Good food, few loud customers.
The service was excellent with managers visibly managing and staff attentive. Waiters gave time for ordering and didn't rush us. The food was delicious and all meals were enjoyed. You can always rely on the food being nice here. The only downside were other customers, a large group had got drunk and loud very quickly and were even singing. In my opinion they should of been told the second time it wasn't appropriate.
Father's Day lunch
We had a very good meal. 1 of our party was late due to traffic and staff were very accommodating about waiting for her. Food fresh and delicious
We had our wedding reception here last year and decided to return for our anniversary. On both occasions everything was excellent, from start to finish. Me and my wife would like to thank all the staff for making two special days very special,Thank you
Have been here before for the mid week special menu but this time was quite disappointed.. It's ok doing a reasonably priced menu midweek to get people in but the food has to be good as well. Good job the company was good
Nice food, small portions
We came here for my birthday and felt the food was tasty but the portions were very small . £5 for a small glass of rose wine is expensive as is £5 for a very small dessert. We didn't feel we received value for money, although we did think the restaurant was pleasantly presented and the waiters very good. We were shocked when presented with the bill and won't be returning.
I have been to ferraris a few times and still enjoy just as much as the first time. In my opinion the best dish is the carbonara so I would recommend anyone to try it! Staff are all very polite and friendly and like to check if all the food is okay, which of course it always is. The inside is very modern and comfortable I went on a Sunday which I find is the best day to go as Saturday nights it can get very crowded especially as the restaurant isn't very big. I have been ones before in a big group and we we're all seated fine and all food was served just as good. Will definately be back soon.
Would visit again.
Had a wonderful meal with the other half. The staff were super friendly and I didn't feel forgotten at any point. The food was delicious, I had the veal. The wine list was filled with variety, just got to convince the Mrs to drink red. Had a wonderful time, thank you very much.
Really tasty food
Great food and attentive service with happy to help staff. Really would like to go back soon!
