The food itself took a while though again our presence was still acknowledged and it was most probably due to the rowdy 50th that had arrived just after us... However, we could not fault our food - Joanne opting for ( I have to do away with the Italian) Prawn Linguini and myself the Beef Medallions, both of which were worth every penny we paid for them; the wine list is extensive though that admittedly does go a little over my head. Great selection of food for meat eaters and vegetarians. Beautifully cooked food and staff were very attentive and took your coats as you entered which is rare.
Only down side is that it was slightly cramped in places. It was to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. Everyone one of us found something on the menu that we fancied, none of us "made do". The atmosphere was lovely. There were several birthday celebrations going on and each celebration was given a birthday sparkler - an indoor firework, and everyone took part in singing Happy Birthday whilst it was lit. A very enjoyable evening was had and it was good value for money. Saturday nights can be a little noisy and often need some weeks advance booking, but thats fine if you are celibrating.
