Farm @ Friday Street
Great breakfast!Came for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my family who were staying in a local 'room only' hotel. Loved the Eggs Blackstone and Veggie Breakfast. Friendly, knowledgeable waitress. In all a very pleasant start to our day. Thank you.18/05/2013 00:00:00Highly recommendWe were greeted warmly by the owner and led to our table. I like the layout as the tables are far from other diners and you feel like you have enough space from other diners but still maintaining a good atmosphere. The service was attentive and courteous at all times. There is no children's menu but children can pretty much have a smaller portion of anything on the menu and there is a lot of flexibility regarding this which I like. The food itself was very tasty, the skinny fries are delish and as for the puddings.....don't take my word for it.....try them for yourself!! I would heartily recommend the Farm @ Friday Street and will be going back there as soon as possible! Ideal for any occasion! Jane. :-)18/05/2013 00:00:00Brilliant feel at the farm,Brilliant feel at the farm, very friendly and welcoming staff and food is always delicious!04/05/2013 00:00:00This was my 4th visit to TheThis was my 4th visit to The Farm - outstanding service and food - You can see the Waiters enjoyed working at The Farm - Keep up the good work - will be diving again very soon

Manager and staff were very sensitive to our needs. We were treated so well. We have been back regularly since. (5 years) Sunday lunch, after dog walks. Our dogs are allowed to sit quietly under our table. We have been there with our 3yr ol twin granddaughters; evening meals with our friends and family to celebrate birthdays. Our most recent visit was just my husband and I to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and 40 years of marriage. Every visit has been exactly right for each occasion. Perfect! The manager is attentive and remembers our name.28/03/2013 00:00:00Sat eveningAlways like going to the farm. Cosy and warm n nice food. Cud do with a menu change more often though23/03/2013 00:00:00Fantastic food and lovely peopleThis is a wonderful restaurant. The food was excellent and delicious. The meat was tender and very tasty. Our meals were interesting, with a variety of vegetables accompanying the meat. The service was very friendly and attentive, but not invasive. The wood burner, made it feel extra cosy.16/03/2013 00:00:00Great food as alwaysAlways good food here. I went with a friend who is a vegetarian and she was pleasantly surprised by the choice of dishes available for her. Portions tend to be on the large side, and the wine is not cheap but that wont stop me from returning!02/03/2013 00:00:00A diamond in Eastbourne. The quality of food and service at the Farm is second to none. One of our party had a vegetarian meal which she really enjoyed but all the courses were great and that is why we never go anywhere else when visiting Eastbourne!23/02/2013 00:00:00Twins TreatIt was my Wife's & Sister - in Law's 63 rd Birthday Saturday & I wanted to take them somewhere local & upmarket. The new Farm fulfilled that exactly ,with a good all round experience.23/02/2013 00:00:00GreatFood really exceeded our expectations, the goats cheese starter was to die for and our waitress had a great personality. Very informal and relaxed. Main courses were equally delicious but were too full to comment on dessert. We will definitely return.21/02/2013 00:00:00Lovely StaffAlways enjoy eating here as the staff make everything so enjoyable and relaxed.21/02/2013 00:00:00Great - Valentines night 2013As normal the standards of presentation of the premises were exceptionally high, the staff were freindly and helpfull and the food was excellent. This is one of the best restaurants in Eastbourne for those special occassions as well as every day eating out. I would recomend this as value as well, my experiance in catering is exceptionally high and to this end do not give Friday Street Farm a miss or you will regret missing the experiance.14/02/2013 00:00:00bit chillyCan't fault the food or the service but... we were sat on a table near the front door on a rainy, cold night and after having to turn the radiators up to full blast to keep warm we also had to contend with large wafts of cigarette smoke drifting over us and they tried serve us our main before we had a starter! Apart from that we did enjoy ourselves!09/02/2013 00:00:00Lovely as usualWe are regulars here and eat weekdays, week ends lunch, dinner or just a snack. We booked for a Sunday Roast at 6pm. Superb selection of roasts as well as alternatives for those wanting something different. Great ambience with fantastic staff as ever. Good food, lovely warm open fire - what more could you want? The Farm never disappoints.03/02/2013 00:00:00Mmmmm yummmyGo to this restaurant for sunday dinner..omg..it was so good..im still thinking about now..I had roast beef and my husband had the pork and we both agreed it was lovely, both my children had the burgers, we have had them before when we popped in for lunch once and they are so moreish. The staff are friendly,The restaurant is amazing.

Nothing is to much trouble for the Manager and Staff, the chef is only to willing to adjust things if there is a dietary issue. I would recommend this pub every tIme.31/12/2012 16:00:00Cosy and good value for moneyThe food was great- the only issue we had was that they forgot to tell us they had run out of one of our selected puddings, which was disappointing but overall, the quality of the food was fantastic. The atmosphere was very cosy and the aesthetics in the restaurant characterful. Very good value for money and an enjoyable visit. Would definitely go there again!20/12/2012 16:00:00Great sevice as allways, staffGreat sevice as allways, staff great, good fun and the food is fantatsic12/12/2012 16:00:00We ate at Farm @ Friday inWe ate at Farm @ Friday in Eastbourne. For lovers of fried food this is the place, but we found the menu rather limited. I choose the lambs liver, bacon which came with gravy, mash but cried out for some veg. The mackerel being the only choice the boss fancied. Puds were good and drinks inexpensive, the after tea and coffe coming in a pot allowing 2 good cups. Total price being £43 for both of us, so value was excellant. The youngsters doing the waiting were attentive and polite.15/03/2012 17:00:00
