About Eastway at Andaz hotel
In the heart of London’s business district, Eastway is the answer for those looking for a relaxed yet vibrant dining experience.
Serving made to order breakfasts with freshly squeezed juices to start the morning, and a selection of classic favourites throughout the day, it is the 'Meats from the Grill' menu that showcases Eastway’s signature style.
Weekend brunches prove popular too, with muesli and granola alongside pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict and a traditional full English. Drinks range from smoothies, fresh juices and mocktails to coffee, tea blends and Bloody Marys served from a DIY Bloody Mary station, where diners are invited to create their own concoction.
Eastway’s Communal Table provides a great setting to meet new people over drinks and enjoy tapas and specialty cocktails in the company of old friends. Or you can sit back, relax and enjoy the buzz of the city when dining al fresco on the Liverpool Street terrace.

Eastway at Andaz hotel Ratings and Reviews
My colleague had 2 suitcases and the lovely guy at reception immediately found room for them and afterwards even carried them outside for her. The waiting staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our food and dessert, which were nicely presented. And this all at a very reasonable price.
Amazing food and lovely atmosphere.
I've been to the Eastway quite a few times now and love it. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere reminds me of Manhattan and you can make your own Bloody Mary for £5.
Simple, stylish brunch venue
We had brunch here at the weekend, food was great - simple but well executed. The service was good but once we'd finished eating it felt like they forgot about us, no offer of additional drinks and difficult to catch their attention for the bill. Good location, well styled, menu that has something for everyone, service needs a little polish.
Overall very enjoyable
If you are looking for good food in a relaxed environment, then this is it. The food was very enjoyable and the service efficient and friendly. Overall very enjoyable.

Eastway at Andaz Hotel - I regularly book Eastway for breakfast meetings for my boss. Location is great by Liverpool street station. Service is attentive, atmosphere is good for a 121 meeting. Food is of good standard
Good, Reliable Restaurant in the city
Reliably good and simple food with a menu that offers choice but not confusion. Been several times as it is an ideal location to meet friends in the heart of the city without overpaying. Decent wine menu. A great choice for those looking for good food, nice location without any of the city flashiness that can be off putting. Service always very good and they pulled out a few stops for a recent special occasion.
Convenient breakfast meeting point by Liverpoil St station. Well prepared breakfast fare with efficient and friendly service.
Great food, lovely atmosphere
The Big Breakfast was very good although I could not finish it all! The service was very good and the price reasonable. I also liked that it was not too busy and you could hear yourself think. The complimentary pastries were also a lovely touch. Will definitely visit again.
Over priced all bar one
All bar one food at extortionate prices Just not worth it all.
Had a nice breakfast here. All quite standard, service was good. Perhaps a little expensive and the portions a bit small. Would go back.
Service wasn't as good as usual
Usually good but service wasn't as good on this occasion, still a good hotel in a great location
We had eaten here before and had tapas which was great, but had spotted the burgers and noted how popular they were. We regularly go out for decent burgers so decided to give it a try (5 beef and 1 chicken - all with chips). Not disappointed. They were really good. Now top of our list for a burger joint!
Average brunch spot
I went to Eastway for brunch on Saturday, excited by the prospect of a NYC-style brunch having lived in NYC. The place itself is nice and there is a free bread and pastry station for you to go up and help yourself to. However, the food itself was underwhelming, under-seasoned and my poached egg was overcooked - always a disappointment when your expectations are for a yolk volcano to erupt from the egg. Compared to somewhere like Kopapa, Eastway is missing the buzzing atmosphere and delicious food, which part of the NYC brunch experience. I did however, enjoy my cappuccino, and especially liked that they had soya milk on offer, as still not many places in London cater to various intolerances. WIth that being said, this would be my one and only trip to Eastway.
Not impressed by their breakfast
I went to Eastway for a business breakfast and I wasnt very impressed. I asked for scrumbled eggs and salmon; eggs were good but the portion of salmon was ridiculous compared with the amount of eggs. The place was quite empty and yet it was noisy; something wrong with the acoustics, mybe due to the low ceilings. I'll look for something mire appealing
Where did all the food go?
Went for brunch on a Sunday at 1pm - prime brunch time. Eastward was largely empty with three or four ladies standing around waiting to serve someone. Once we sat down, we were notified that we couldn't order off the breakfast menu, only off the brunch menu. This excluded all sorts of granola, yoghurt, fruit, etc options. We were 4 of the 8 people in this place, so I'm really hoping this wasn't a 'principle' thing. Ordering off the brunch menus, two signature egg dishes were also unavailable which meant two of our party had to further change their order (and we weren't told up front). We also ordered a pitcher of a mock tail. First they brought a glass full. When we eventually got through to her that it says pitcher in the menu, the bar tender came around to say that they don't have enough juice to make a pitcher... In hindsight, not a bad thing because the one glass tasted quite lame. Our dishes came and by and large underwhelmed all the guests. From Eggs Sanchez to Toulouse Sausage, food was rather bland and not very appetizing. The one thing that is good, is the complimentary bread and pastry. Those mini cinnamon rolls got me through this brunch!
most expensive tea i have ever had in london
the booking forced me into a time i did not want (15 minutes early) but when i arrived the place was only serving 5 tables for the price the table could be [set up] nicer and a tray service would be a bonus.
I went with a friend for dinner and it was very nice and simple and modern restaurant, service was very good, attentive staff, good simple menu with enough options (not overwhelming with too many dishes) and tasty. Would definitely recommend it.
Our number one place to meet for Breakfast in the city.
Good food in comfortable surroundings
Adjacent to Liverpool Street Station in the Andaz Hotel, this cross between a bistro and a diner serves good food in comfortable surroundings. An ideal spot for a quick bite or a long leisurely meal with friends.
Very Good Breakfast
I have been to Andaz many times and although it is always busy you always get good service and good food - recommended for a quick business breakfast.
First let down at Eastway
Have taken breakfast at Eastway many times and, to be fair, it has always been very good. However, this was not the case this time. My asked-for Orange juice wasn't brought and had to ask another waitress for it. Ordered one meal and got a different one instead. It's not like Eastway to do this, so will give them a fair crack of the whip and try them again when hopefully there will be a better level of service.
We spend a lot of time eating in this area and until Sunday I didn't even know this place existed. I booked the £17 per person 2 course meal for 8pm and we were welcomed with a smile and offered a choice of tables. Apart from being given the a là carte menu to begin with ( which seems the norm in these establishments these days, perhaps in the hope that you'd be too embarrassed to explain your on the" deal" ), and having to ask for the set, I couldn't fault the service whatsoever. The waiter, possibly the man in charge that day, could not have been more attentive, without compromising his professional standard. Starters were a Parma Ham salad and a salmon salad and we're very large and we'll presented. Mains? Chicken Chasseur and Seafood Tagliatelle which were very tasty and full of the ingredients that matter. I would definitely go back to this restaurant at the drop of a hat and will most certainly do so within the next couple of months. Excellent!
Good food. Indifferent service.
It could be the perfect place for a mid week supper with friends or colleagues if the staff too some interest in their diners and also if they were less obsessed with putting out the marmalade jars for the following morning which started at 9pm as tables started to clear! The food was good though and I would go back but would prepare myself for a wait. It is the type of place that in the US, they would just be better at the service. It is an American style place which makes you hope for an American level of service which it simply fails to deliver.
Ok but forgettable
Food was decent, but Veggie options were limited/poor. Service was bordering on rude. Each interaction felt like the waitresses wanted it to be over as soon as possible. Can't have been anything we said as she didn't ever hang around at our table long enough for us to finish a sentence!
Eastway at Andaz
Nice brunch on a Sunday morning. Food wasn't outstanding but the unlimited bread and pastries was a nice touch and very delicious. I had the Eggs on Brick Lane which was tasty but a bit bland so not great value with the £12 tag. Lovely friendly staff which definitely helps and there was a nice chilled out atmosphere for a Sunday morning.
I arranged this as a business breakfast ...
I arranged this as a business breakfast meeting. I've used the restaurant many times before (and attending a wedding at Andaz last year) but this time around it was disappointing. The food took a very long time to come up, I ordered waffles and berries, 4 waffles were nice but there were 7 berries. IAs it was an informal business meeting I didn't want to make a fuss but it was disappointing. It then took quite a while to get the bill, I totally appreciate how hard the staff work, but they seemed understaffed for the amount f diners that morning. I have recommended Eastway so many times before, perhaps this was a one off so I wouldn't want to drop it as a venue, perhaps next time will be better.
Always great service and food
Love Eastway by Andaz. Food and service is consistently good - not rushed and able to take the time to catch up or have a decent business discussion without any hassle. Great convienent location. The set menu is excellent value although we ordered off the a la carte this time. Seabass was perfectly cooked, balanced meal and delicious. Fish cakes looked equally good. Will be back and continue to recommend. I have to say having experienced poor service this week in a top end restaurant it was great to end the week with the friendly and unrushed service at Eastway.
Excellent value on the set menu!
Visited on Friday evening. Ate from the 3 courses for£22 set menu. The food was excellent with good portion sizes. The service from the staff was polite and frequent as and when needed. Would definitely visit again.
Great food in a relaxed setting
Met two friends for dinner on the set menu. Excellent value with quality food and a great venue conveniently located near Liverpool street station. Good service. I had reserved and unexpectedly another friend turned up but we were moved to a bigger table with no fuss. Highly recommend the pork belly and vanilla parfait.
Good place to meet after work
Great location next to Liverpool St station, full and great atmosphere. Food good and service ok
Chosen for location, next to Liverpool Street station. The servers were pleasant, food was ok, apart from the chocolate tart which was strangely presented, looked discoloured (probably because it had been suffocated by miniscule cubes of fruit) and tasted nothing like chocolate. We won’t be returning.
Ideal breakfast venue
A busy venue for breakfasts indicating its popularity (as well as it being part of the Andaz Hotel). Service was excellent - always on the ball and the food was pretty good too.
It was good and handy
We were looking forward to this meal in Eastway as it was my future daughter in laws 21st birthday treat to come to London, however she ended up with 2 glasses of Prosecco down her outfit.......luckily she had a change of outfit.the staff were brilliant, couldn't apologise enough, got moved to another table and well looked after.they brought her a plate with a candle and we sung happy birthday, thank you for that. Overall the restaurant was good and the food was excellent.
Dined early one evening so there weren't...
Dined early one evening so there weren't many people there, but the food was good and served our purpose. MK
Top Pub Grub
Ok you could say slightly upmarket pub grub but for a quick simple lunch in the city at reasonable prices Eastway ticks the boxes. We had the sharing platter to start which was most generous. Then followed with steaks.Chicken and fish cakes. Everyone happy no complaints. Reasonable service. Will definitely book again.
We had come from a party and just needed something to eat before we went home. The food was great and so was the service. Good value for money.
Good location but a little pricey for what it is.
The food was nice and the service very good... but we felt it was very overpriced for what and where it was. Prosecco £40 a bottle?! Ridiculous... There were a few veggie options which were good.. but only a couple for each course. Yes I'd go again but I'd try and get it on Gourmet Society 50% or a Tastecard offer, which they take (unfortunately not in December though!).
Eastway at Andaz
Good service, tasty fish cakes and nice atmosphere
Great food and nice ambience
Perfect for a snack or something more substantial. Beautiful cocktails, great food, will be back. Thank you.
Fishy Ceasar salad
I had the Chicken Ceasar salad and it was awful, I asked them to take off the anchovies and whilst I know that the ceasar dressing has anchovy in it my whole salad tasted like it had been washed in fish water, it was awful. The chicken and bacon had a strong taste of fish and I struggled to eat it. Salad should never taste like fish, end of.. I wouldn't go there again.
